1Elihu parolis plue, kaj diris:
1Moreover Elihu answered and said,

2Hear my words, ye wise [men]; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

3For the ear trieth words, as the palate tasteth food.

4Let us choose for ourselves what is right; let us know among ourselves what is good!
5CXar Ijob diris:Mi estas prava, Sed Dio forigis mian rajton;
5For Job hath said, I am righteous, and ùGod hath taken away my judgment:
6En mia jugxa afero mi estas refutata; Turmentas min mia sago, kvankam mi estas senkulpa.
6Should I lie against my right? My wound is incurable without transgression.
7Kiu homo estas simila al Ijob, Kiu trinkas mokojn kiel akvon?
7What man is like Job? he drinketh up scorning like water,
8Kaj li estas preta aligxi al malbonaguloj Kaj iri kun malpiuloj;
8And goeth in company with workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
9CXar li diras:Homo ne havas utilon, Se li sercxas favoron de Dio.
9For he hath said, It profiteth not a man if he delight himself in God.
10Tial auxskultu min, ho sagxaj homoj: Dio estas malproksima de malbonagoj, Kaj la Plejpotenculo estas malproksima de maljusteco;
10Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: Far be wickedness from ùGod, and wrong from the Almighty!
11Sed Li repagas al homo laux liaj agoj, Kaj laux la vojo de cxiu Li renkontas lin.
11For a man's work will he render to him, and cause every one to find according to [his] way.
12Vere, Dio ne malbonagas, Kaj la Plejpotenculo ne kurbigas la veron.
12Yea, surely, ùGod acteth not wickedly, and the Almighty perverteth not judgment.

13Who hath entrusted to him the earth? and who hath disposed the whole world?
14Se Li pensus nur pri Si, Se Li prenus al Si Sian spiriton kaj spiron,
14If he only thought of himself, [and] gathered unto him his spirit and his breath,
15Tiam pereus absolute cxiu karno, Kaj homo refarigxus polvo.
15All flesh would expire together, and man would return to the dust.
16Se vi havas prudenton, auxskultu cxi tion; Atentu la vocxon de miaj paroloj.
16If now [thou hast] understanding, hear this: give ear to the voice of my words!
17CXu povas regi malamanto de justeco? CXu vi povas akuzi la Plejjustulon?
17Should he that hateth right indeed govern? and wilt thou condemn the All-just?
18CXu oni povas diris al regxo:Sentauxgulo; Aux al altranguloj:Malpiulo?
18Shall one say to a king, Belial? to nobles, Wicked?
19Sed Li ne atentas la vizagxon de princoj, Kaj ne preferas ricxulon antaux malricxulo; CXar cxiuj estas faritajxo de Liaj manoj.
19[How then to him] that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich man more than the poor? for they are all the work of his hands.
20Momente ili mortas, noktomeze ili tumultigxas kaj malaperas; Ne de homa mano estas forigataj la potenculoj.
20In a moment they die, even at midnight the people are convulsed and pass away; and the strong are taken away without hand.
21CXar Liaj okuloj estas super la vojoj de homo, Kaj cxiujn liajn pasxojn Li vidas.
21For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his steps.
22Ne ekzistas mallumo nek ombrego, Kie povus sin kasxi malbonaguloj.
22There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
23Li ne bezonas multe klopodi kun homo, Ke li iru al Dio por jugxo.
23For he doth not long consider a man, to bring him before ùGod in judgment.
24Li pereigas la fortulojn sennombre Kaj starigas sur ilia loko aliajn;
24He breaketh in pieces mighty men without inquiry, and setteth others in their stead;
25CXar Li scias iliajn farojn; Li renversas ilin en la nokto, kaj ili frakasigxas.
25Since he knoweth their actions; and he overthroweth [them] in the night, and they are crushed.
26Kiel malpiulojn Li frapas ilin sur loko, kie cxiuj vidas;
26He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others,
27Pro tio, ke ili forturnigxis de Li Kaj ne penis kompreni cxiujn Liajn vojojn,
27Because they have turned back from him, and would consider none of his ways;
28Sed venigis al Li la kriadon de malricxulo, Kaj Li auxdis la kriadon de mizeruloj.
28So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
29Se Li kvietigas, tiam kiu povas ribeligi? Se Li kasxas Sian vizagxon, tiam kiu povas Lin vidi? Tiel estas egale kun nacio kaj kun aparta homo,
29When he giveth quietness, who then will disturb? and when he hideth [his] face, who shall behold him? and this towards a nation, or towards a man alike;
30Por ke ne regu homo hipokrita, El la pekigantoj de popolo.
30That the ungodly man reign not, that the people be not ensnared.
31Al Dio oni devas diri: Mi fierigxis, mi ne plu faros malbonon;
31For hath he said unto ùGod, I bear [chastisement], I will not offend;
32Kion mi ne vidas, pri tio instruu min; Se mi faris maljustajxon, mi ne plu faros.
32What I see not, teach thou me; if I have done wrong, I will do so no more?
33CXu konforme al via opinio Li devas repagi? Al vi ja ne placxis. Vi elektu, ne mi; Kaj kion vi scias, tion diru.
33Shall he recompense according to thy mind? for thou hast refused [his judgment]; for thou so choosest, and not I; speak then what thou knowest.
34Sagxaj homoj diros al mi, Kaj prudenta homo, kiu min auxskultas:
34Men of understanding will say to me, and a wise man who heareth me:
35Ijob parolas malsagxe, Kaj liaj vortoj estas malprudentaj.
35Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were not with intelligence.
36Ho, se Ijob estus elprovita gxis la fino, Pro tio, ke li aligxas al homoj pekaj;
36Would that Job may be tried unto the end, because of [his] answers after the manner of evil men!
37CXar al sia peko li aldonas blasfemon; Inter ni li mokas, kaj multe parolas kontraux Dio.
37For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth [his hands] among us, and multiplieth his words against ùGod.
