1Aye, my heart trembleth at this also, and leapeth up out of its place:
2Auxskultu atente en la bruo Lian vocxon, Kaj la sonojn, kiuj eliras el Lia busxo.
2Hear attentively the roar of his voice, and the murmur going forth from his mouth.
3Sub la tutan cxielon Li kurigas tion, Kaj Sian lumon al la randoj de la tero.
3He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
4Post gxi ekbruas la tondro; Li tondras per Sia majesta vocxo, Kaj oni ne povas tion haltigi, kiam auxdigxas Lia vocxo.
4After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency, and holdeth not back the flashes when his voice is heard.
5Mirinde tondras Dio per Sia vocxo; Li faras ion grandan, sed ne konatan.
5ùGod thundereth marvellously with his voice, doing great things which we do not comprehend.
6Al la negxo Li diras:Falu sur la teron; Ankaux al la pluvego, al Siaj fortaj pluvegoj.
6For he saith to the snow, Fall on the earth! and to the pouring rain, even the pouring rains of his might.
7Sur la manon de cxiu homo Li metas sigelon, Por ke cxiuj homoj sciu Lian faron.
7He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
8La sovagxa besto iras en sian kavon Kaj restas en sia logxejo.
8And the wild beast goeth into its lair, and they remain in their dens.
9El la sudo venas ventego, Kaj de la nordo venas malvarmo.
9From the chamber [of the south] cometh the whirlwind; and cold from the winds of the north.
10De la spiro de Dio venas frosto, Kaj vasta akvo farigxas kvazaux fandajxo.
10By the breath of ùGod ice is given; and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
11La nubojn Li pezigas per akvo, Kaj nubo dissxutas Lian lumon.
11Also with plentiful moisture he loadeth the thick clouds, his light dispels the cloud;
12Li direktas ilin cxirkauxen, kien Li volas, Por ke ili plenumu cxion, kion Li ordonas al ili, sur la tero:
12And they are turned every way by his guidance, that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the circuit of the earth,
13CXu por puno de ia lando, CXu por favorkorajxo Li ilin direktas.
13Whether he cause it to come as a rod, or for his land, or in mercy.
14Atentu tion, Ijob; Staru, kaj konsideru la miraklojn de Dio.
14Hearken unto this, Job; stand still and discern the wondrous works of ùGod.
15CXu vi scias, kiamaniere Dio agigas ilin Kaj aperigas lumon el Sia nubo?
15Dost thou know how +God hath disposed them, and how he causeth the lightning of his cloud to flash?
16CXu vi komprenas, cxe la distiro de nubo, La miraklojn de Tiu, kiu estas la plej perfekta en la sciado?
16Dost thou know about the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him that is perfect in knowledge?
17Kiamaniere viaj vestoj varmigxas, Kiam la tero kvietigxas de sude?
17How thy garments become warm when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
18CXu vi povas etendi kun Li la cxielon, Firman kiel fandita spegulo?
18Hast thou with him spread out the sky, firm, like a molten mirror?
19Sciigu al ni, kion ni devas diri al Li; Mi nenion povas elkonjekti pro mallumo.
19Teach us what we shall say unto him! We cannot order [our words] by reason of darkness.
20CXu estos rakontita al Li tio, kion mi parolas? Se iu parolos, li pereos.
20Shall it be told him if I would speak? if a man [so] say, surely he shall be swallowed up.
21Nun oni ne povas rigardi la lumon, kiu hele lumas en la cxielo, Kiam la vento pasas kaj purigas gxin.
21And now [men] see not the light as it gleameth, it is [hidden] in the skies. But the wind passeth by and cleareth them.
22De norde venas oro; CXirkaux Dio estas terura brilo.
22From the north cometh gold; with +God is terrible majesty.
23La Plejpotenculon ni ne povas kompreni. Li estas granda en forto, justo, kaj vero; Li neniun premas.
23The Almighty, we cannot find him out: excellent in power, and in judgment, and in abundance of justice, he doth not afflict.
24Tial respektegas Lin la homoj; Kaj Li atentas neniun el la sagxuloj.
24Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
