¹Kaj Moseo ekparolis al la tribestroj de la Izraelidoj, dirante:Jen kion ordonis la Eternulo:

¹And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This is what Jehovah hath commanded.

²Se iu faros sanktan promeson al la Eternulo aux jxuros jxuron, ligante sian animon, li ne rompu sian vorton, sed konforme al cxio, kio eliris el lia busxo, li faru.

²If a man vow a vow to Jehovah, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; according to all that hath gone out of his mouth shall he do.

³Kaj se virino faros sanktan promeson al la Eternulo aux ligos sin en la domo de sia patro, en sia juneco,

³If a woman also vow a vow to Jehovah, and bind herself by a bond, in her father's house in her youth,

⁴kaj sxia patro auxdos sxian promeson, kaj la ligon, kiun sxi metas sur sian animon, kaj sxia patro silentos pri tio; tiam valoras cxiuj sxiaj promesoj, kaj cxiu ligo, kiun sxi metis sur sian animon, valoras.

⁴and her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall be silent at her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

⁵Sed se sxia patro malpermesos al sxi en la tago, kiam li auxdis, tiam cxiuj sxiaj promesoj kaj cxiuj sxiaj ligoj, per kiuj sxi ligis sian animon, ne valoras; kaj la Eternulo pardonos al sxi, cxar sxia patro malpermesis al sxi.

⁵But if her father prohibited her in the day that he heard, none of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand; and Jehovah shall pardon her, because her father prohibited her.

⁶Se sxi farigxos edzino, kaj sur sxi estos sxiaj promesoj, aux vorto, kiu elglitis el sxia busxo kaj ligis sxian animon,

⁶And if she have a husband, when she hath her vow upon her or ought that hath passed her lips wherewith she hath bound her soul,

⁷kaj sxia edzo auxdos, kaj li silentos en la tago, kiam li auxdis; tiam valoras sxiaj promesoj, kaj sxiaj ligoj, per kiuj sxi ligis sian animon, valoras.

⁷and her husband hear it and be silent at her in the day that he heareth it, then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

⁸Sed se en la tago, kiam sxia edzo auxdis, li malpermesas al sxi, tiam li neniigas sxian promeson, kiu estas sur sxi, kaj tion, kio elglitis el sxia busxo kaj per kio sxi ligis sian animon; kaj la Eternulo pardonos al sxi.

⁸But if her husband prohibit her on the day that he heareth it, and annul her vow which is upon her, and what hath passed her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul, then Jehovah shall pardon her.

⁹La promeso de vidvino kaj de eksedzino, cxio, per kio sxi ligis sian animon, valoras sur sxi.

⁹But the vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, -- everything wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand against her.

¹⁰Se virino en la domo de sia edzo faris sanktan promeson aux per jxuro metis ligon sur sian animon,

¹⁰And if she have vowed in her husband's house, or have bound her soul by an oath with a bond,

¹¹kaj sxia edzo auxdis kaj silentis, ne malpermesis al sxi; tiam valoras cxiuj sxiaj promesoj, kaj cxiu ligo, kiun sxi metis sur sian animon, valoras.

¹¹and her husband have heard it, and been silent at her, and hath not prohibited her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

¹²Sed se sxia edzo neniigis ilin en la tago, kiam li auxdis; tiam cxio, kio eliris el sxia busxo, sxiaj promesoj kaj la ligoj de sxia animo, ne valoras:sxia edzo ilin neniigis; kaj la Eternulo pardonos al sxi.

¹²But if her husband have expressly annulled them on the day that he heard them, then nothing of that which is gone out of her lips as to her vows or the bond on her soul, shall stand: her husband hath annulled them; and Jehovah will pardon her.

¹³CXiun promeson kaj cxiun ligigxon per jxuro fari premon al sia animo sxia edzo povas valorigi aux sxia edzo povas neniigi.

¹³Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband can establish it, or her husband can annul it.

¹⁴Se sxia edzo silentis tagon por tago, tiam li valorigas cxiujn sxiajn promesojn, aux cxiujn ligigxojn, kiuj estas sur sxi, li valorigas; cxar li silentis en la tago, kiam li auxdis.

¹⁴And if her husband be altogether silent at her from day to day, then he hath established all her vows or all her bonds which are upon her; he hath confirmed them, for he hath been silent at her in the day that he heard them.

¹⁵Kaj se li neniigis ilin, post kiam li auxdis, tiam li prenis sur sin sxian kulpon.

¹⁵But if he in any way annul them after he hath heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity.

¹⁶Tio estas la legxoj, kiujn la Eternulo donis al Moseo pri la rilatoj inter edzo kaj lia edzino, inter patro kaj lia filino en sxia juneco en la domo de sxia patro.

¹⁶These are the statutes, which Jehovah commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth in her father's house.
