1Haleluja! Bone estas al la homo, kiu timas la Eternulon Kaj tre amas Liajn ordonojn.
1Hallelujah! Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2His seed shall be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Bonstato kaj ricxeco estas en lia domo; Kaj lia justeco restas eterne.
3Wealth and riches [shall be] in his house; and his righteousness abideth for ever.
4En mallumo levigxas lumo por la virtulo. Li estas kompatema, favorkora, kaj justa.
4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness; he is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
5Bone estas al la homo, kiu kompatas kaj pruntedonas, Kiu pesas siajn farojn per justeco.
5It is well with the man that is gracious and lendeth; he will sustain his cause in judgment.
6CXar neniam li falos; Virtulo estos memorata eterne.
6For he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7Malbonan famon li ne timos; Fortika estas lia koro, gxi fidas la Eternulon.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah;
8Sensxanceligxa estas lia koro; Li ne timas, gxis li vidas la pereon de siaj malamikoj.
8His heart is maintained, he is not afraid, until he see [his desire] upon his oppressors.
9Li sxutas kaj donas al la malricxuloj; Lia justeco restas eterne, Lia korno altigxos en honoro.
9He scattereth abroad, he giveth to the needy; his righteousness abideth for ever: his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10La malvirtulo vidas kaj cxagrenigxas, Kunfrapas la dentojn kaj konsumigxas. La deziro de malvirtuloj pereos.
10The wicked [man] shall see [it] and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
