¹Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth's sake.

²Kial devas diri la popoloj: Kie do estas ilia Dio?

²Wherefore should the nations say, Where then is their God?

³Sed nia Dio estas en la cxielo; CXion, kion Li deziras, Li faras.

³But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased.

⁴Iliaj idoloj estas argxento kaj oro, Faritajxo de homaj manoj.

⁴Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands:

⁵Busxon ili havas, sed ne parolas; Okulojn ili havas, sed ne vidas;

⁵They have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not;

⁶Orelojn ili havas, sed ne auxdas; Nazon ili havas, sed ne flaras;

⁶They have ears, and they hear not; a nose have they, and they smell not;

⁷Manojn ili havas, sed ne palpas; Piedojn ili havas, sed ne iras; Ili ne donas sonon per sia gorgxo.

⁷They have hands, and they handle not; feet have they, and they walk not; they give no sound through their throat.

⁸Kiel ili, tiel estos iliaj farantoj, CXiuj, kiuj ilin fidas.

⁸They that make them are like unto them, -- every one that confideth in them.

⁹Ho Izrael, fidu la Eternulon; Li estas ilia helpo kaj sxildo.

⁹O Israel, confide thou in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

¹⁰House of Aaron, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

¹¹Ye that fear Jehovah, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

¹²La Eternulo nin memoras, Li benas, Li benas la domon de Izrael, Li benas la domon de Aaron;

¹²Jehovah hath been mindful of us: he will bless, he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;

¹³Li benas la timantojn de la Eternulo, La malgrandajn kaj la grandajn.

¹³He will bless them that fear Jehovah, both the small and the great.

¹⁴La Eternulo vin multigu, Vin kaj viajn infanojn.

¹⁴Jehovah will add unto you more, unto you and unto your children.

¹⁵Vi estas benitaj de la Eternulo, Kiu faris la cxielon kaj la teron.

¹⁵Ye are blessed of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

¹⁶La cxielo estas cxielo de la Eternulo, Sed la teron Li donis al la homidoj.

¹⁶The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

¹⁷Ne la mortintoj gloros la Eternulon, Kaj ne tiuj, kiuj foriris en la silentejon.

¹⁷The dead praise not Jah, neither any that go down into silence;

¹⁸Sed ni benos la Eternulon De nun kaj eterne. Haleluja!

¹⁸But *we* will bless Jah from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah!
