1Psalmo de David. Ho Eternulo, mi vokas al Vi; rapidu al mi; Atentu mian vocxon, kiam mi vokas al Vi.
1{A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, I have called upon thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
2Mia pregxo valoru antaux Vi kiel incenso, La levo de miaj manoj kiel vespera oferdono.
2Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening oblation.
3Metu, ho Eternulo, gardon al mia busxo, Gardu la pordon de miaj lipoj.
3Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
4Ne klinu mian koron al io malbona, Al partoprenado en malbonagoj kun malbonaguloj; Mi ne mangxu iliajn bongustajxojn.
4Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise deeds of wickedness with men that are workers of iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.
5Virtuloj min frapu favorkore kaj punu min: GXi estos oleo por la kapo; Mia kapo ne rifuzos, se estos ecx pli; Kaj mi pregxas cxe iliaj malfelicxoj.
5Let the righteous smite me, it is kindness; and let him reprove me, it is an excellent oil which my head shall not refuse: for yet my prayer also is [for them] in their calamities.
6Disigxis sur roko iliaj jugxantoj, Kaj ili auxdis miajn vortojn, kiel amikaj ili estis.
6When their judges are thrown down from the rocks, they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.
7Kiel iu plugas kaj dispecigas la teron, Tiel estas disjxetitaj iliaj ostoj gxis la busxo de SXeol.
7Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earth.
8CXar al Vi, ho Eternulo, mia Sinjoro, estas direktitaj miaj okuloj; Al Vi mi esperas:ne forpusxu mian animon.
8For unto thee, Jehovah, Lord, are mine eyes; in thee do I trust: leave not my soul destitute.
9Gardu min kontraux la reto, kiun oni metis al mi, Kontraux la implikilo de la malbonaguloj.
9Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
10La malvirtuloj falu en siajn retojn cxiuj, Dum mi preteriros.
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that *I* withal pass over.
