1Psalmo de David. Ho Eternulo, kiu povas gasti en Via tendo? Kiu povas logxi sur Via sankta monto?
1{A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?
2Tiu, kiu vivas honeste, agas juste, Kaj parolas veron el sia koro;
2He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.
3Kiu ne kalumnias per sia lango, Ne faras malbonon al sia kunulo, Kaj ne jxetas malhonoron sur sian proksimulon;
3[He that] slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;
4Kiu abomenas malnoblulon Kaj estimas la respektantojn de la Eternulo, Kiu faris jxuron malprofite por si kaj gxin ne rompas;
4In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;
5Kiu sian monon ne donas procentege, Kaj subacxetajn donacojn kontraux senkulpulo ne akceptas. Kiu tiel agas, tiu neniam falos.
5[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
