1Verko de David. Gardu min, ho Dio, cxar mi rifugxas cxe Vi.
1{Michtam of David.} Preserve me, O ùGod: for I trust in thee.
2Mi diris al la Eternulo:Vi estas mia Sinjoro; Mi ne havas alian bonon krom Vi.
2Thou [my soul] hast said to Jehovah, Thou art the Lord: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee; --
3Al la sanktuloj, kiuj estas sur la tero, Kaj al la majestuloj iras mia tuta deziro.
3To the saints that are on the earth, and to the excellent [thou hast said], In them is all my delight.
4Multigxos la malgxojoj de tiuj, kiuj sekvis alian; Mi ne versxos iliajn sangajn versxoferojn Kaj ne metos iliajn nomojn en mian busxon.
4Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another: their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, and I will not take up their names into my lips.
5La Eternulo estas mia sorta parto kaj kaliko; Vi subtenas mian sorton.
5Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6Loto agrabla trafis min, CXarma estas mia heredo.
6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7Mi gloras la Eternulon, kiu konsilas min; Ecx en la nokto instruas min mia internajxo.
7I will bless Jehovah, who giveth me counsel; even in the nights my reins instruct me.
8CXiam mi vidas la Eternulon antaux mi; CXar Li estas cxe mia dekstra mano, mi ne falos.
8I have set Jehovah continually before me; because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9Tial gxojas mia koro, ravigxas mia animo; Ecx mia karno ripozas senzorge.
9Therefore my heart rejoiceth, and my glory exulteth; my flesh moreover shall dwell in hope.
10CXar Vi ne lasos mian animon al SXeol; Vi ne permesos, ke Via sanktulo forputru.
10For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol, neither wilt thou allow thy Holy One to see corruption.
11Vi konigos al mi la vojon de la vivo; Multe da gxojoj estas antaux Vi, CXarmoj estas en Via dekstra mano eterne.
11Thou wilt make known to me the path of life: thy countenance is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
