¹{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;

²Li sendu al vi helpon el la sanktejo, Kaj el Cion Li vin fortigu.

²May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

³Li rememoru cxiujn viajn oferdonojn, Kaj via brulofero aperu grasa antaux Li. Sela.

³Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; Selah.

⁴Li donu al vi tion, kion deziras via koro; Kaj cxiujn viajn intencojn Li plenumu.

⁴Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels.

⁵Ni estos gajaj pro Via venko, Kaj pro la nomo de nia Dio ni levos standardon. La Eternulo plenumu cxiujn viajn petojn.

⁵We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!

⁶Nun mi ekscias, ke la Eternulo savas Sian sanktoleiton; Li auxskultas lin el Sia sankta cxielo, Forte savas lin per Sia dekstra mano.

⁶Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.

⁷Unuj fidas veturilojn, aliaj cxevalojn; Sed ni alvokas la nomon de la Eternulo, nia Dio.

⁷Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.

⁸Ili sxanceligxas kaj falas, Kaj ni staras kaj tenas nin forte.

⁸They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.

⁹Ho Eternulo, savu; La Regxo respondu al ni, kiam ni vokas al Li.

⁹Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.
