1{A Psalm of David.} Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;
2Tributu al la Eternulo la honoron de Lia nomo; Klinigxu antaux la Eternulo en sankta ornamo.
2Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.
3La vocxo de la Eternulo iras super la akvoj; La Dio de gloro tondras, La Eternulo super grandaj akvoj.
3The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the ùGod of glory thundereth, -- Jehovah upon great waters.
4La vocxo de la Eternulo iras kun forto, La vocxo de la Eternulo iras kun majesto.
4The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.
5La vocxo de la Eternulo rompas cedrojn, La Eternulo rompas la cedrojn de Lebanon.
5The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:
6Li saltigas ilin kiel bovidon, Lebanonon kaj Sirjonon kiel bubalidon.
6And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.
7La vocxo de la Eternulo elhakas fajran flamon.
7The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.
8La vocxo de la Eternulo skuas dezerton, La Eternulo skuas la dezerton Kadesx.
8The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9La vocxo de la Eternulo igas cervinojn naski, kaj nudigas arbarojn; Kaj en Lia templo cxio parolas pri Lia gloro.
9The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!
10La Eternulo regis en la tempo de la diluvo, La Eternulo restos Regxo eterne.
10Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.
11La Eternulo donos forton al Sia popolo, La Eternulo benos Sian popolon per paco.
11Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
