1Al la hxorestro. Psalmo de David. Vin, ho Eternulo, mi fidas, ke mi neniam estu hontigita; Per Via justeco savu min.
1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2Klinu al mi Vian orelon, rapide savu min! Estu por mi forta roko, fortika kastelo, por helpi min.
2Incline thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be a strong rock to me, a house of defence to save me.
3CXar Vi estas mia roko kaj mia kastelo; Kaj pro Via nomo gvidu min kaj konduku min.
3For thou art my rock and my fortress; and, for thy name's sake, thou wilt lead me and guide me.
4Eligu min el la reto, kiun ili metis kontraux mi; CXar Vi estas mia fortikajxo.
4Draw me out of the net that they have hidden for me; for thou art my strength.
5En Vian manon mi transdonas mian spiriton; Vi savas min, ho Eternulo, Dio de la vero.
5Into thy hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah, [thou] ùGod of truth.
6Mi malamas la adorantojn de vantaj idoloj, Sed mi fidas la Eternulon.
6I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.
7Mi gajas kaj gxojas pro Via favoro; CXar Vi vidis min mizeron, Vi eksciis la suferojn de mia animo,
7I will be glad and rejoice in thy loving-kindness, for thou hast seen mine affliction; thou hast known the troubles of my soul,
8Kaj Vi ne transdonis min en la manon de malamiko, Vi starigis miajn piedojn sur vasta loko.
8And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large place.
9Korfavoru min, ho Eternulo, cxar mi suferas; Malfortigxis de malgxojo mia okulo, mia animo, kaj mia korpo.
9Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am in trouble: mine eye wasteth away with vexation, my soul and my belly.
10CXar mia vivo konsumigxis de malgxojo kaj miaj jaroj de gxemado; Mia forto malaperis per mia kulpo, kaj miaj ostoj malfortigxis.
10For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength faileth through mine iniquity, and my bones are wasted.
11Per cxiuj miaj malamikoj mi farigxis granda hontindajxo por miaj najbaroj Kaj terurajxo por miaj konatoj; Kiuj vidas min sur la strato, tiuj forkuras de mi.
11More than to all mine oppressors, I am become exceedingly a reproach, even to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that see me without flee from me.
12Oni forgesis pri mi en la koro, kiel pri mortinto; Mi farigxis kiel rompita vazo.
12I am forgotten in [their] heart as a dead man; I am become like a broken vessel.
13CXar mi auxdas la insultojn de multaj; CXirkauxe estas minacoj; Ili kune konspiras kontraux mi, Ili intencas pereigi mian vivon.
13For I have heard the slander of many -- terror on every side -- when they take counsel together against me: they plot to take away my life.
14Sed mi-mi fidas Vin, ho Eternulo; Mi diras:Vi estas mia Dio.
14But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.
15En Via mano estas mia sorto; Savu min de la mano de miaj malamikoj kaj persekutantoj.
15My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from my persecutors.
16Lumu per Via vizagxo al Via sklavo, Helpu min per Via boneco.
16Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy loving-kindness.
17Ho Eternulo, ne hontigu min, cxar mi vokis al Vi; Hontigitaj estu la malpiuloj, ili silentigxu por SXeol.
17Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol.
18Mutigxu la mensogaj busxoj, Kiuj parolas arogante kontraux piulo, Kun fiero kaj malestimo.
18Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.
19Kiel granda estas Via boneco, kiun Vi konservis por tiuj, kiuj Vin timas, Kaj kiun Vi faris antaux la homoj por tiuj, kiuj Vin fidas!
19[Oh] how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee, before the sons of men!
20Vi kovras ilin per la kovro de Via vizagxo kontraux homaj atencoj, Vi kasxas ilin en tendo kontraux malamikaj langoj.
20Thou keepest them concealed in the secret of thy presence from the conspiracies of man; thou hidest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21Glorata estu la Eternulo, Kiu aperigis al mi mirindan favoron en fortikigita urbo.
21Blessed be Jehovah; for he hath shewn me wondrously his loving-kindness in a strong city.
22Kaj mi diris en mia konfuzigxo: Mi estas forpusxita for de Viaj okuloj; Tamen Vi auxskultis la vocxon de mia pregxo, kiam mi vokis al Vi.
22As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23Amu la Eternulon, cxiuj Liaj piuloj; La fidelulojn la Eternulo gardas, Kaj Li repagas suficxege al tiuj, kiuj agas malhumile.
23Love Jehovah, all ye his saints. Jehovah preserveth the faithful, and plentifully requiteth the proud doer.
24Estu kuragxaj, kaj forta estu via koro, Vi cxiuj, kiuj esperas al la Eternulo!
24Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.
