¹{To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm.} My voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me.

²En la tago de mia suferado mi sercxas mian Sinjoron; En la nokto mia mano estas etendita kaj ne mallevigxas; Mia animo ne volas konsoligxi.

²In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted.

³Mi rememoras Dion, kaj mi gxemas; Mi meditas, kaj mia spirito malgxojas. Sela.

³I remembered God, and I moaned; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

⁴Vi retenas la palpebrojn de miaj okuloj; Mi estas frapita, mi ne povas paroli.

⁴Thou holdest open mine eyelids; I am full of disquiet and cannot speak.

⁵Mi meditas pri la tagoj antikvaj, Pri la jaroj antauxlonge pasintaj.

⁵I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times.

⁶Mi rememoras en la nokto mian kanton; Mi parolas kun mia koro, Kaj mia spirito esploras.

⁶I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search.

⁷CXu por eterne mia Sinjoro forpusxis? Kaj cxu Li ne plu favoros?

⁷Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

⁸CXu por eterne cxesigxis Lia boneco? CXu Lia promeso ne plenumigxos por cxiuj generacioj?

⁸Hath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath [his] word come to an end from generation to generation?

⁹CXu Dio forgesis indulgi? CXu Li fermis en kolero Sian favorkorecon? Sela.

⁹Hath ùGod forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

¹⁰Kaj mi diris:Tio estas mia aflikto, Ke aliigxis la dekstra mano de la Plejaltulo.

¹⁰Then said I, This is my weakness: -- the years of the right hand of the Most High

¹¹Mi rememoros la farojn de la Eternulo; Jes, mi rememoros Viajn antikvajn miraklojn.

¹¹Will I remember, -- the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old,

¹²Mi meditos pri cxiuj Viaj faroj, Kaj pri Viaj agoj mi parolos.

¹²And I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings.

¹³Ho Dio, en sankteco estas Via vojo; Kiu estas tiel granda dio, kiel nia Dio?

¹³O God, thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a ùgod as God?

¹⁴Vi estas tiu Dio, kiu faras miraklojn; Vi montris Vian forton inter la popoloj.

¹⁴Thou art the ùGod that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples.

¹⁵Vi liberigis per Via brako Vian popolon, La filojn de Jakob kaj Jozef. Sela.

¹⁵Thou hast with [thine] arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

¹⁶Vidis Vin akvoj, ho Dio, Vidis Vin akvoj, kaj ili ektremis, Kaj abismoj skuigxis.

¹⁶The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled:

¹⁷Nubegoj versxis akvon, La cxielo eligis bruon, Kaj Viaj sagoj ekflugis.

¹⁷The thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad:

¹⁸La vocxo de Via tondro estis en la turnovento, Fulmoj lumigis la mondon; Tremis kaj sxanceligxis la tero.

¹⁸The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.

¹⁹Sur la maro estis Via vojo, Kaj Via irejo sur grandaj akvoj, Sed Viaj pasxosignoj ne estis videblaj.

¹⁹Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.

²⁰Vi kondukis Vian popolon kiel sxafojn, Per la mano de Moseo kaj Aaron.

²⁰Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
