1{To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.
2Mi gxojos kaj triumfos pro Vi; Mi kantos Vian nomon, ho Vi Plejalta.
2I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.
3CXar miaj malamikoj turnigxas malantauxen, Ili falas kaj pereas antaux Vi.
3When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:
4CXar Vi faris por mi jugxon kaj plenumon de legxo; Vi sidigxis sur la trono, Vi justa jugxanto.
4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.
5Vi indignis kontraux la popoloj, Vi pereigis malpiulojn, Ilian nomon Vi ekstermis por cxiam kaj eterne.
5Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
6La malamikoj malaperis, ruinigxis por cxiam; Iliajn urbojn Vi renversis, La memoro pri ili pereis kune kun ili.
6O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. -- Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.
7Sed la Eternulo restas eterne, Li pretigis Sian tronon por jugxo.
7But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.
8Kaj Li jugxos la mondon kun justeco, Li plenumos legxojn inter la popoloj kun senpartieco.
8And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.
9Kaj la Eternulo estos rifugxo por la premato, Rifugxo en la tempo de mizero.
9And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.
10Kaj esperos al Vi tiuj, kiuj konas Vian nomon, CXar Vi ne forlasas tiujn, kiuj sercxas Vin, ho Eternulo.
10And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
11Kantu al la Eternulo, kiu logxas sur Cion, Rakontu inter la popoloj Liajn farojn.
11Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.
12CXar vengxante por la sango, Li memoras pri ili, Li ne forgesas la krion de malfelicxuloj.
12For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.
13Estu favora al mi, ho Eternulo; Vidu, kion mi suferas de miaj malamikoj, Vi, kiu suprenlevas min el la pordegoj de la morto,
13Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:
14Por ke mi rakontu Vian tutan gloron En la pordegoj de la filino de Cion Kaj mi gxoju pro Via savo.
14That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.
15Enigxis la popoloj en la kavon, kiun ili elfosis; En la reton, kiun ili metis, enkaptigxis ilia piedo.
15The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.
16Oni ekkonas la Eternulon laux la jugxo, kiun Li faris; Per la faroj de siaj manoj estas kaptita la malpiulo. Higajon. Sela.
16Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
17La malbonuloj reiru en SXeolon, CXiuj popoloj, kiuj forgesas Dion.
17The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.
18CXar ne por cxiam malricxulo estos forgesita, Kaj la espero de mizeruloj ne pereos por eterne.
18For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.
19Levigxu, ho Eternulo, ke homoj ne tro fortigxu; La popoloj estu jugxataj antaux Via vizagxo.
19Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.
20Metu, ho Eternulo, timon sur ilin, La popoloj sciu, ke ili estas homoj. Sela.
20Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
