¹Kaj mi vidis angxelon malsuprenirantan el la cxielo, havantan la sxlosilon de la abismo kaj grandan katenon en sia mano.

¹And I saw an angel descending from the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand.

²Kaj li ekkaptis la drakon, la antikvan serpenton, kiu estas la Diablo kaj Satano, kaj enkatenis lin por mil jaroj,

²And he laid hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent who is [the] devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

³kaj jxetis lin en la abismon kaj fermis gxin kaj sigelis gxin super li, por ke li ne plu trompu la naciojn, gxis finigxos la mil jaroj; post tio li devos esti malligita por kelka tempo.

³and cast him into the abyss, and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he should not any more deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be loosed for a little time.

⁴Kaj mi vidis tronojn, kaj oni sidis sur ili, kaj jugxo estis donita al ili; kaj mi vidis la animojn de la senkapigitaj pro la atesto de Jesuo kaj pro la vorto de Dio, kaj tiujn, kiuj ne adorklinigxis al la besto, nek al gxia bildo, kaj ne ricevis la markon sur sia frunto kaj sur sia mano; kaj ili vivis, kaj ili regxis kun Kristo mil jarojn.

⁴And I saw thrones; and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them; and the souls of those beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on account of the word of God; and those who had not done homage to the beast nor to his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and hand; and they lived and reigned with the Christ a thousand years:

⁵La ceteraj mortintoj ne vivis, gxis finigxos la mil jaroj. Tio estas la unua relevigxo.

⁵the rest of the dead did not live till the thousand years had been completed. This [is] the first resurrection.

⁶Felicxa kaj sankta estas la partoprenanto en la unua relevigxo; super tiuj la dua morto havas nenian auxtoritaton; sed ili estos pastroj de Dio kaj de Kristo, kaj regxos kun li mil jarojn.

⁶Blessed and holy he who has part in the first resurrection: over these the second death has no power; but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

⁷Kaj kiam finigxos la mil jaroj, Satano estos ellasita el sia malliberejo,

⁷And when the thousand years have been completed, Satan shall be loosed from his prison,

⁸kaj eliros, por trompi la naciojn en la kvar anguloj de la tero, Gog kaj Magog, por kolekti ilin por la milito; ilia nombro estas kiel la sablo de la maro.

⁸and shall go out to deceive the nations which [are] in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number [is] as the sand of the sea.

⁹Kaj ili supreniris lauxlargxe de la tero kaj cxirkauxis la tendaron de la sanktuloj kaj la amatan urbon; kaj fajro malsupreniris el la cxielo, kaj ekstermis ilin.

⁹And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city: and fire came down [from God] out of the heaven and devoured them.

¹⁰Kaj la diablo, kiu trompis ilin, estis jxetita en la lagon fajran kaj sulfuran, kie trovigxas la besto kaj la falsa profeto; kaj ili estos turmentataj tage kaj nokte por cxiam kaj eterne.

¹⁰And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where [are] both the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for the ages of ages.

¹¹Kaj mi vidis grandan blankan tronon, kaj la Sidanton sur gxi, antaux kies vizagxo forflugis la tero kaj la cxielo; kaj ne trovigxis loko por ili.

¹¹And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and place was not found for them.

¹²Kaj mi vidis la mortintojn, grandajn kaj malgrandajn, starantajn antaux la trono; kaj libroj estis malfermitaj; kaj estis malfermita alia libro, kiu estas la libro de vivo; kaj la mortintoj estis jugxataj el la skribitajxoj en la libroj, laux siaj faroj.

¹²And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is [that] of life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books according to their works.

¹³Kaj la maro liveris la mortintojn, kiuj estis en gxi; kaj la morto kaj Hades liveris la mortintojn, kiuj estis en ili; kaj cxiu estis jugxata laux siaj faroj.

¹³And the sea gave up the dead which [were] in it, and death and hades gave up the dead which [were] in them; and they were judged each according to their works:

¹⁴Kaj la morto kaj Hades estis jxetitaj en la fajran lagon. Tio estas la dua morto-la fajra lago.

¹⁴and death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, [even] the lake of fire.

¹⁵Kaj se iu ne trovigxis skribita en la libro de vivo, tiu estis jxetita en la fajran lagon.

¹⁵And if any one was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
