¹Kaj mi vidis novan cxielon kaj novan teron; cxar la unua cxielo kaj la unua tero forpasis; kaj la maro jam ne ekzistis.

¹And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea exists no more.

²Kaj mi vidis la sanktan urbon, novan Jerusalemon, malsuprenirantan el la cxielo for de Dio, pretigitan kiel fiancxino, ornamita por sia edzo.

²And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

³Kaj mi auxdis grandan vocxon el la trono, dirantan:Jen la tabernaklo de Dio estas kun la homoj, kaj Li logxos kun ili, kaj ili estos Liaj popoloj, kaj Dio mem estos kun ili kaj estos ilia Dio;

³And I heard a loud voice out of the heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their God.

⁴kaj Li forvisxos cxiun larmon el iliaj okuloj; kaj la morto jam ne ekzistos; ne plu ekzistos funebro, nek plorado, nek doloro; la unuaj aferoj forpasis.

⁴And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.

⁵Kaj diris la Sidanto sur la trono:Vidu, Mi faras cxion nova. Kaj Li diris:Skribu, cxar tiuj vortoj estas fidelaj kaj veraj.

⁵And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says [to me], Write, for these words are true and faithful.

⁶Kaj Li diris al mi:CXio farigxis. Mi estas la Alfa kaj la Omega, la komenco kaj la fino. Mi donos donace al la soifanto el la fonto de la akvo de vivo.

⁶And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely.

⁷La venkanto heredos cxion; kaj Mi estos por li Dio, kaj li estos por Mi filo.

⁷He that overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be to him God, and he shall be to me son.

⁸Sed por la timemaj kaj nekredemaj kaj abomenindaj kaj mortigistoj kaj malcxastuloj kaj sorcxistoj kaj idolanoj kaj cxiuj mensoguloj, ilia lotajxo estos en la lago, brulanta per fajro kaj sulfuro; tio estas la dua morto.

⁸But to the fearful and unbelieving, [and sinners], and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [is] in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

⁹Kaj venis unu el la sep angxeloj, havantaj la sep pelvojn, plenajn de la sep finaj plagoj; kaj li parolis kun mi, dirante:Venu cxi tien, mi montros al vi la fiancxinon, la edzinon de la SXafido.

⁹And there came one of the seven angels which had had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying, Come here, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

¹⁰Kaj li forportis min en la Spirito sur monton, grandan kaj altan, kaj li montris al mi la sanktan urbon Jerusalem, malsuprenirantan el la cxielo for de Dio,

¹⁰And he carried me away in [the] Spirit, [and set me] on a great and high mountain, and shewed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God,

¹¹havantan la gloron de Dio; gxia lumo estis simila al sxtono plej altvalora, kvazaux jaspiso kristaleca;

¹¹having the glory of God. Her shining [was] like a most precious stone, as a crystal-like jasper stone;

¹²kun muro granda kaj alta, kun dek du pordegoj, kaj apud la pordegoj dek du angxeloj; kaj nomoj surskribitaj, kiuj estas la nomoj de la dek du triboj de la Izraelidoj;

¹²having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are those of the twelve tribes of [the] sons of Israel.

¹³oriente estis tri pordegoj, kaj norde tri pordegoj, kaj sude tri pordegoj, kaj okcidente tri pordegoj.

¹³On [the] east three gates; and on [the] north three gates; and on [the] south three gates; and on [the] west three gates.

¹⁴Kaj la muro de la urbo havis dek du fundamentojn, kaj sur ili dek du nomojn de la dek du apostoloj de la SXafido.

¹⁴And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

¹⁵Kaj mia kunparolanto havis mezurilon, oran vergon, por mezuri la urbon kaj gxiajn pordegojn kaj gxian muron.

¹⁵And he that spoke with me had a golden reed [as] a measure, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.

¹⁶Kaj la urbo staras kvadrate, kaj gxia longo estas tiom, kiom la largxo; kaj li mezuris la urbon per la vergo, dek du mil stadiojn; gxia longo kaj gxia largxo kaj gxia alto estas egalaj.

¹⁶And the city lies four-square, and its length [is] as much as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed -- twelve thousand stadia: the length and the breadth and height of it are equal.

¹⁷Kaj li mezuris gxian muron, cent kvardek kvar ulnojn, laux mezuro de homo, tio estas, de angxelo.

¹⁷And he measured its wall, a hundred [and] forty-four cubits, [a] man's measure, that is, [the] angel's.

¹⁸Kaj la strukturo de gxia muro estis jaspiso; kaj la urbo estis pura oro, simila al pura vitro.

¹⁸And the building of its wall [was] jasper; and the city pure gold, like pure glass:

¹⁹La fundamentoj de la muro de la urbo estis ornamitaj per altvaloraj sxtonoj cxiuspecaj. La unua fundamento estis jaspiso; la dua, safiro; la tria, kalcedonio; la kvara, smeraldo;

¹⁹the foundations of the wall of the city [were] adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

²⁰la kvina, sardonikso; la sesa, sardio; la sepa, krizolito; la oka, berilo; la nauxa, topazo; la deka, krizopraso; la dek-unua, jacinto; la dek- dua, ametisto.

²⁰the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.

²¹Kaj la dek du pordegoj estis dek du perloj, cxiu el la pordegoj estis el unu perlo; kaj la strato de la urbo estis pura oro, kvazaux travidebla vitro.

²¹And the twelve gates, twelve pearls; each one of the gates, respectively, was of one pearl; and the street of the city pure gold, as transparent glass.

²²Kaj templon en gxi mi ne vidis; cxar Dio, la Sinjoro, la Plejpotenca, kaj la SXafido estas gxia templo.

²²And I saw no temple in it; for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.

²³Kaj la urbo ne bezonas la sunon, nek la lunon, por brili al gxi; cxar la gloro de Dio lumis al gxi, kaj gxia lampo estas la SXafido.

²³And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon, that they should shine for it; for the glory of God has enlightened it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb.

²⁴Kaj la nacioj promenos per gxia lumo; kaj la regxoj de la tero alportas en gxin sian gloron.

²⁴And the nations shall walk by its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory to it.

²⁵Kaj gxiaj pordegoj tute ne estos fermitaj tage (cxar nokto ne ekzistos tie);

²⁵And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.

²⁶kaj ili alportos en gxin la gloron kaj la honoron de la nacioj;

²⁶And they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations to it.

²⁷kaj tute ne eniros en gxin io malpura, nek faranto de abomenindajxo kaj mensogo; sed nur la skribitaj en la libro de vivo de la SXafido.

²⁷And nothing common, nor that maketh an abomination and a lie, shall at all enter into it; but those only who [are] written in the book of life of the Lamb.
