¹Kaj mi, fratoj, ne povis paroli al vi kiel al spirituloj, sed kiel al karnuloj, kiel al infanetoj en Kristo.

¹Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.

²Mi nutris vin per lakto, ne per mangxajxoj; cxar vi ankoraux tion ne kapablis; kaj ecx nun vi ne kapablas;

²I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready,

³cxar vi estas ankoraux karnaj; cxar dum ekzistas inter vi jxaluzo kaj malpaco, cxu vi ne estas karnaj kaj iradas laux la maniero de homoj?

³for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?

⁴CXar kiam unu diras:Mi estas de Pauxlo; kaj alia:Mi estas de Apolos; cxu vi ne estas homoj?

⁴For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?

⁵Kio do estas Apolos? kaj kio estas Pauxlo? Servantoj, per kiuj vi ekkredis; kaj cxiu, kiel la Sinjoro al li donis.

⁵Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him?

⁶Mi plantis, Apolos akvumis; sed Dio kreskigis.

⁶I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.

⁷Tial nek la plantanto estas io, nek la akvumanto; sed Dio, la kreskiganto.

⁷So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

⁸Sed la plantanto kaj la akvumanto estas unu; sed cxiu ricevos sian propran rekompencon laux sia laboro.

⁸Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

⁹CXar ni estas kunlaborantoj kun Dio:vi estas la kultivotajxo de Dio, la konstruotajxo de Dio.

⁹For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.

¹⁰Laux la graco de Dio al mi donita, kiel sagxa majstromasonisto mi metis fundamenton; kaj aliaj surkonstruas. Sed cxiu zorgu, kiel li surkonstruas.

¹⁰According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.

¹¹CXar neniu povas meti alian fundamenton krom tiu, kiu estas metita, tio estas Jesuo Kristo.

¹¹For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.

¹²Sed se iu konstruas sur la fundamento oron, argxenton, multekostajn sxtonojn, lignon, fojnon, pajlon,

¹²But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;

¹³cxies laborajxo evidentigxos; cxar la tago gxin montros, pro tio, ke gxi estas malkasxita en fajro; kaj la fajro mem provos cxies laborajxon, kia gxi estas.

¹³each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.

¹⁴Se restos ies laborajxo, kiun li surkonstruis, li ricevos rekompencon.

¹⁴If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.

¹⁵Se ies laborajxo forbrulos, li suferos perdon; sed li mem savigxos; tamen kiel tra fajro.

¹⁵If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.

¹⁶CXu vi ne scias, ke vi estas templo de Dio kaj ke en vi logxas la Spirito de Dio?

¹⁶Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?

¹⁷Se iu detruas la templon de Dio, tiun detruos Dio; cxar la templo de Dio estas sankta, kaj vi estas tio.

¹⁷If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.

¹⁸Neniu sin trompu. Se iu el vi opinias sin sagxa en cxi tiu mondo, li farigxu malsagxulo, por ke li sagxigxu.

¹⁸Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

¹⁹CXar la sagxeco de cxi tiu mondo estas malsagxeco cxe Dio. CXar estas skribite:Li kaptas la sagxulojn per ilia ruzajxo;

¹⁹For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.” Job 5:13

²⁰kaj ankaux:La Eternulo scias la pensojn de sagxuloj, ke ili estas vantaj.

²⁰And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.” Psalm 94:11

²¹Tial neniu fanfaronu pri homoj. CXar cxio apartenas al vi,

²¹Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,

²²cxu Pauxlo, aux Apolos, aux Kefas, aux la mondo, aux la vivo, aux la morto, aux estantajxoj aux estontajxoj:cxio apartenas al vi,

²²whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,

²³kaj vi al Kristo, kaj Kristo al Dio.

²³and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
