¹Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul.

²Mi gloros la Eternulon en la dauxro de mia tuta vivo, Mi kantos al mia Dio tiel longe, kiel mi estos.

²While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

³Ne fidu eminentulojn, Homidon, kiu ne povas helpi.

³Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help.

⁴Eliras lia spirito, li reiras en sian teron; Kaj en tiu tago neniigxas cxiuj liaj intencoj.

⁴His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

⁵Bone estas al tiu, kies helpo estas la Dio de Jakob, Kiu esperas al la Eternulo, lia Dio,

⁵Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

⁶Kiu kreis la cxielon kaj la teron, La maron, kaj cxion, kio estas en ili, Kiu gardas la veron eterne;

⁶who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

⁷Kiu faras justecon al la prematoj, Donas panon al la malsataj. La Eternulo liberigas la malliberulojn;

⁷who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.

⁸La Eternulo malfermas la okulojn al la blinduloj; La Eternulo restarigas la kurbigitojn; La Eternulo amas la virtulojn;

⁸Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.

⁹La Eternulo gardas la enmigrintojn, Subtenas orfon kaj vidvinon; Sed la vojon de malvirtuloj Li pereigas.

⁹Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

¹⁰La Eternulo regxas eterne, Via Dio, ho Cion, por cxiuj generacioj. Haleluja!

¹⁰Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!
