³Kaunisti tõuseb kõrgele kogu maa rõõm, Siioni mägi kauges põhjas, see suure kuninga linn.

³God is known in her palaces as a high fortress.

⁴Jumal on tema kuninglikes kodades tuntud kindla varjupaigana.

⁴For behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together;

⁵Sest vaata, kuningad kogunesid ning läksid üheskoos tema vastu.

⁵They saw, -- so they marvelled; they were troubled, they fled in consternation:

⁶Nemad nägid ja tardusid, kohkusid, põgenesid ära.

⁶Trembling took hold upon them there; anguish, as of a woman in travail.

⁷Värin valdas neid seal, valu, nagu sünnitajal naisel.

⁷With an east wind thou hast broken the ships of Tarshish.

⁸Idatuulega sa murrad katki Tarsise laevad.

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God doth establish it for ever. Selah.

⁹Nagu me oleme kuulnud, nõnda me näeme seda vägede Issanda linnas, oma Jumala linnas. Jumal lasku teda kindlasti püsida igavesti! Sela.

⁹We have thought, O God, of thy loving-kindness, in the midst of thy temple.

¹⁰Me mõtiskleme su heldusest, oh Jumal, keset sinu templit.

¹⁰According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹Nõnda nagu su nimi, Jumal, ulatub ka sinu ülistus ilmamaa äärteni; su parem käsi on täis õiglust.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹²Siioni mägi rõõmutseb, Juuda tütred ilutsevad su kohtuotsuste tõttu.

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her: count the towers thereof;

¹³Kõndige ümber Siioni ning tehke tiir ta ümber, lugege ära ta tornid!

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces: that ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹⁴Pange hästi tähele ta kindlustust; kõndige läbi ta kuninglikud hooned, et võiksite jutustada neist tulevasele põlvele!

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.

¹⁵Sest see on Jumal, meie Jumal ikka ja igavesti, tema juhatab meid surmast üle.
