¹ובנימן הוליד את בלע בכרו אשבל השני ואחרח השלישי׃

¹And Benjamin begat Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

²נוחה הרביעי ורפא החמישי׃

²Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

³ויהיו בנים לבלע אדר וגרא ואביהוד׃

³And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,

⁴ואבישוע ונעמן ואחוח׃

⁴and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,

⁵וגרא ושפופן וחורם׃

⁵and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

⁶ואלה בני אחוד אלה הם ראשי אבות ליושבי גבע ויגלום אל מנחת׃

⁶And these [are] sons of Ehud: they are heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Geba, and they remove them unto Manahath;

⁷ונעמן ואחיה וגרא הוא הגלם והוליד את עזא ואת אחיחד׃

⁷and Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza and Ahihud.

⁸ושחרים הוליד בשדה מואב מן שלחו אתם חושים ואת בערא נשיו׃

⁸And Shaharaim begat in the field of Moab, after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.

⁹ויולד מן חדש אשתו את יובב ואת צביא ואת מישא ואת מלכם׃

⁹And he begetteth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,

¹⁰ואת יעוץ ואת שכיה ואת מרמה אלה בניו ראשי אבות׃

¹⁰and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.

¹¹ומחשים הוליד את אביטוב ואת אלפעל׃

¹¹And of Hushim he begat Ahitub and Elpaal.

¹²ובני אלפעל עבר ומשעם ושמד הוא בנה את אונו ואת לד ובנתיה׃

¹²And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer, (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),

¹³וברעה ושמע המה ראשי האבות ליושבי אילון המה הבריחו את יושבי גת׃

¹³and Beriah and Shema, (they [are] the heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Aijalon — they caused to flee the inhabitants of Gath),

¹⁴ואחיו ששק וירמות׃

¹⁴and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

¹⁵וזבדיה וערד ועדר׃

¹⁵and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,

¹⁶ומיכאל וישפה ויוחא בני בריעה׃

¹⁶and Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, sons of Beriah,

¹⁷וזבדיה ומשלם וחזקי וחבר׃

¹⁷and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,

¹⁸וישמרי ויזליאה ויובב בני אלפעל׃

¹⁸and Ishmerai, and Jezliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal;

¹⁹ויקים וזכרי וזבדי׃

¹⁹And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,

²⁰ואליעני וצלתי ואליאל׃

²⁰and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,

²¹ועדיה ובראיה ושמרת בני שמעי׃

²¹and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei;

²²וישפן ועבר ואליאל׃

²²And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,

²³ועבדון וזכרי וחנן׃

²³and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,

²⁴וחנניה ועילם וענתתיה׃

²⁴and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,

²⁵ויפדיה ופניאל בני ששק׃

²⁵and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak;

²⁶ושמשרי ושחריה ועתליה׃

²⁶And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,

²⁷ויערשיה ואליה וזכרי בני ירחם׃

²⁷and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.

²⁸אלה ראשי אבות לתלדותם ראשים אלה ישבו בירושלם׃

²⁸These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, heads; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

²⁹ובגבעון ישבו אבי גבעון ושם אשתו מעכה׃

²⁹And in Gibeon hath the father of Gibeon dwelt, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;

³⁰ובנו הבכור עבדון וצור וקיש ובעל ונדב׃

³⁰and his son, the first-born, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

³¹וגדור ואחיו וזכר׃

³¹and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;

³²ומקלות הוליד את שמאה ואף המה נגד אחיהם ישבו בירושלם עם אחיהם׃

³²and Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also over-against their brethren dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren.

³³ונר הוליד את קיש וקיש הוליד את שאול ושאול הוליד את יהונתן ואת מלכי שוע ואת אבינדב ואת אשבעל׃

³³And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.

³⁴ובן יהונתן מריב בעל ומריב בעל הוליד את מיכה׃

³⁴And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah;

³⁵ובני מיכה פיתון ומלך ותארע ואחז׃

³⁵and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:

³⁶ואחז הוליד את יהועדה ויהועדה הוליד את עלמת ואת עזמות ואת זמרי וזמרי הוליד את מוצא׃

³⁶and Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

³⁷ומוצא הוליד את בנעא רפה בנו אלעשה בנו אצל בנו׃

³⁷and Moza begat Binea, Raphah [is] his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

³⁸ולאצל ששה בנים ואלה שמותם עזריקם בכרו וישמעאל ושעריה ועבדיה וחנן כל אלה בני אצל׃

³⁸And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.

³⁹ובני עשק אחיו אולם בכרו יעוש השני ואליפלט השלשי׃

³⁹And sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

⁴⁰ויהיו בני אולם אנשים גברי חיל דרכי קשת ומרבים בנים ובני בנים מאה וחמשים כל אלה מבני בנימן׃

⁴⁰And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valour, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son`s sons, a hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
