1הודו ליהוה כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו׃
1Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
2יאמר נא ישראל כי לעולם חסדו׃
2Oh let Israel say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
3יאמרו נא בית אהרן כי לעולם חסדו׃
3Oh let the house of Aaron say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
4יאמרו נא יראי יהוה כי לעולם חסדו׃
4Oh let them that fear Jehovah say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
5מן המצר קראתי יה ענני במרחב יה׃
5I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me [and set me] in a large place.
6יהוה לי לא אירא מה יעשה לי אדם׃
6Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
7יהוה לי בעזרי ואני אראה בשנאי׃
7Jehovah is for me among them that help me; and I shall see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
8טוב לחסות ביהוה מבטח באדם׃
8It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;
9טוב לחסות ביהוה מבטח בנדיבים׃
9It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.
10כל גוים סבבוני בשם יהוה כי אמילם׃
10All nations encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
11סבוני גם סבבוני בשם יהוה כי אמילם׃
11They encompassed me, yea, encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
12סבוני כדבורים דעכו כאש קוצים בשם יהוה כי אמילם׃
12They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
13דחה דחיתני לנפל ויהוה עזרני׃
13Thou hast thrust hard at me that I might fall; but Jehovah helped me.
14עזי וזמרת יה ויהי לי לישועה׃
14My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation.
15קול רנה וישועה באהלי צדיקים ימין יהוה עשה חיל׃
15The voice of triumph and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly;
16ימין יהוה רוממה ימין יהוה עשה חיל׃
16The right hand of Jehovah is exalted, the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.
17לא אמות כי אחיה ואספר מעשי יה׃
17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Jah.
18יסר יסרני יה ולמות לא נתנני׃
18Jah hath chastened me sore; but he hath not given me over unto death.
19פתחו לי שערי צדק אבא בם אודה יה׃
19Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them; Jah will I praise.
20זה השער ליהוה צדיקים יבאו בו׃
20This is the gate of Jehovah: the righteous shall enter therein.
21אודך כי עניתני ותהי לי לישועה׃
21I will give thee thanks, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
22אבן מאסו הבונים היתה לראש פנה׃
22[The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:
23מאת יהוה היתה זאת היא נפלאת בעינינו׃
23This is of Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes.
24זה היום עשה יהוה נגילה ונשמחה בו׃
24This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25אנא יהוה הושיעה נא אנא יהוה הצליחה נא׃
25Oh save, Jehovah, I beseech thee; Jehovah, I beseech thee, oh send prosperity!
26ברוך הבא בשם יהוה ברכנוכם מבית יהוה׃
26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah. We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.
27אל יהוה ויאר לנו אסרו חג בעבתים עד קרנות המזבח׃
27Jehovah is ùGod, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, -- up to the horns of the altar.
28אלי אתה ואודך אלהי ארוממך׃
28Thou art my ùGod, and I will give thee thanks; my God, I will exalt thee.
29הודו ליהוה כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו׃
29Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
