¹למנצח לבני קרח מזמור רצית יהוה ארצך שבת שבות יעקב׃

¹{To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.} Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:

²נשאת עון עמך כסית כל חטאתם סלה׃

²Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

³אספת כל עברתך השיבות מחרון אפך׃

³Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.

⁴שובנו אלהי ישענו והפר כעסך עמנו׃

⁴Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁵הלעולם תאנף בנו תמשך אפך לדר ודר׃

⁵Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?

⁶הלא אתה תשוב תחינו ועמך ישמחו בך׃

⁶Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁷הראנו יהוה חסדך וישעך תתן לנו׃

⁷Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.

⁸אשמעה מה ידבר האל יהוה כי ידבר שלום אל עמו ואל חסידיו ואל ישובו לכסלה׃

⁸I will hear what ùGod, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁹אך קרוב ליראיו ישעו לשכן כבוד בארצנו׃

⁹Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰חסד ואמת נפגשו צדק ושלום נשקו׃

¹⁰Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:

¹¹אמת מארץ תצמח וצדק משמים נשקף׃

¹¹Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

¹²גם יהוה יתן הטוב וארצנו תתן יבולה׃

¹²Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.

¹³צדק לפניו יהלך וישם לדרך פעמיו׃

¹³Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.
