¹Mazmur Daud. Ya TUHAN, dengarlah doaku, perhatikanlah permohonanku. Jawablah aku demi kesetiaan-Mu, kabulkanlah doaku demi keadilan-Mu.

¹A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, [and] in thy righteousness.

²Aku ini hamba-Mu, janganlah mengadili aku, sebab tak ada orang yang tanpa salah di hadapan-Mu.

²And enter not into judgment with thy servant; For in thy sight no man living is righteous.

³Musuhku telah mengejar dan mengalahkan aku, dan menjebloskan aku ke dalam penjara yang gelap; aku menjadi seperti orang yang sudah lama mati.

³For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground: He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.

⁴Aku sudah patah semangat, hatiku sangat kebingungan.

⁴Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate.

⁵Kuingat hari-hari yang lalu; kupikirkan segala perbuatan-Mu, kurenungkan semua karya-Mu.

⁵I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy doings; I muse on the work of thy hands.

⁶Aku berdoa kepada-Mu dengan tangan terentang; seperti tanah yang kering, jiwaku merindukan Engkau.

⁶I spread forth my hands unto thee: My soul [thirsteth] after thee, as a weary land. Selah

⁷Jawablah aku segera, ya TUHAN, sebab aku sudah putus asa. Janganlah bersembunyi daripadaku, supaya aku jangan seperti orang yang sudah turun ke alam maut.

⁷Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.

⁸Setiap pagi ingatkanlah aku akan kasih-Mu, sebab kepada-Mulah aku berharap. Tunjukkanlah aku jalan yang harus kutempuh, sebab kepada-Mulah aku berdoa.

⁸Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.

⁹Aku datang hendak berlindung pada-Mu, ya TUHAN, bebaskanlah aku dari musuh-musuhku.

⁹Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

¹⁰Ajarilah aku melakukan kehendak-Mu, sebab Engkaulah Allahku. Engkau baik hati, dan akan membimbing aku di jalan yang rata.

¹⁰Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.

¹¹Selamatkanlah aku sesuai dengan janji-Mu, ya TUHAN, demi kebaikan-Mu, bebaskanlah aku dari kesesakan.

¹¹Quicken me, O Jehovah, for thy name's sake: In thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

¹²Demi kasih-Mu tumpaslah semua musuhku, binasakanlah semua penindasku, sebab aku hamba-Mu.

¹²And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies, And destroy all them that afflict my soul; For I am thy servant.
