¹主よ、わが魂はあなたを仰ぎ望みます。

²わが神よ、わたしはあなたに信頼します。どうか、わたしをはずかしめず、わたしの敵を勝ち誇らせないでください。

²My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

³すべてあなたを待ち望む者をはずかしめず、みだりに信義にそむく者をはずかしめてください。

³Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.

⁴主よ、あなたの大路をわたしに知らせ、あなたの道をわたしに教えてください。

⁴Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths.

⁵あなたのまことをもって、わたしを導き、わたしを教えてください。あなたはわが救の神です。わたしはひねもすあなたを待ち望みます。

⁵Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long.

⁶主よ、あなたのあわれみと、いつくしみとを思い出してください。これはいにしえから絶えることがなかったのです。

⁶Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.

⁷わたしの若き時の罪と、とがとを思い出さないでください。主よ、あなたの恵みのゆえに、あなたのいつくしみにしたがって、わたしを思い出してください。

⁷Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.

⁸主は恵みふかく、かつ正しくいらせられる。それゆえ、主は道を罪びとに教え、

⁸Good and upright is Yahweh, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.

⁹へりくだる者を公義に導き、へりくだる者にその道を教えられる。

⁹He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.

¹⁰主のすべての道はその契約とあかしとを守る者にはいつくしみであり、まことである。

¹⁰All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

¹¹主よ、み名のために、わたしの罪をおゆるしください。わたしの罪は大きいのです。

¹¹For your name’s sake, Yahweh, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

¹²主を恐れる人はだれか。主はその選ぶべき道をその人に教えられる。

¹²What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.

¹³彼はみずからさいわいに住まい、そのすえは地を継ぐであろう。

¹³His soul shall dwell at ease. His seed shall inherit the land.

¹⁴主の親しみは主をおそれる者のためにあり、主はその契約を彼らに知らせられる。

¹⁴The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

¹⁵わたしの目は常に主に向かっている。主はわたしの足を網から取り出されるからである。

¹⁵My eyes are ever on Yahweh, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

¹⁶わたしをかえりみ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしはひとりわびしく苦しんでいるのです。

¹⁶Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.

¹⁷わたしの心の悩みをゆるめ、わたしを苦しみから引き出してください。

¹⁷The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.

¹⁸わたしの苦しみ悩みをかえりみ、わたしのすべての罪をおゆるしください。

¹⁸Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.

¹⁹わたしの敵がいかに多く、かつ激しい憎しみをもってわたしを憎んでいるかをごらんください。

¹⁹Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.

²⁰わたしの魂を守り、わたしをお助けください。わたしをはずかしめないでください。わたしはあなたに寄り頼んでいます。

²⁰Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.

²¹どうか、誠実と潔白とが、わたしを守ってくれるように。わたしはあなたを待ち望んでいます。神よ、イスラエルをあがない、すべての悩みから救いだしてください。

²¹Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
