Darby's Translation

2 Corinthians

2

1Ihi qesdeɣ ur n-țuɣaleɣ ara ɣuṛ wen, imi ur bɣiɣ ara a kkun sḥezneɣ daɣen.
1But I have judged this with myself, not to come back to you in grief.
2Axaṭer ma sḥezneɣ kkun, anwa ara yi-isfeṛḥen ma yella mačči d kunwi ?
2For if *I* grieve you, who also [is] it that gladdens me, if not he that is grieved through me?
3Uggadeɣ a yi-isḥeznen kra seg wid i glaq a yi-isfeṛḥen, daymi i wen-d-zzewreɣ tabṛaț-nni, axaṭer ẓriɣ ma yella feṛḥeɣ aț-țfeṛḥem ula d kunwi.
3And I have written this very [letter] [to you], that coming I may not have grief from those from whom I ought to have joy; trusting in you all that my joy is [that] of you all.
4Uriɣ-awen tabṛaț-nni s imeṭṭawen d leḥzen ameqqran akk-d wul yetqelqen, mačči iwakken aț țḥeznem lameɛna iwakken aț-țeẓrem acḥal i kkun-ḥemmleɣ.
4For out of much tribulation and distress of heart I wrote to you, with many tears; not that ye may be grieved, but that ye may know the love which I have very abundantly towards you.
5Ma yella gar-awen win yellan d sebba n leḥzen, mačči d nekk i gesseḥzen lameɛna d kunwi meṛṛa i gesseḥzen, yeɛni bɣiɣ a d-iniɣ amur ameqqran deg-wen.
5But if any one has grieved, he has grieved, not me, but in part (that I may not overcharge [you]) all of you.
6Amdan-agi tlumm-it meṛṛa tejmaɛt, beṛka-t !
6Sufficient to such a one [is] this rebuke which [has been inflicted] by the many;
7Tura, ilaq-awen kan a s-tsamḥem yerna a t-tesǧehdem, neɣ m'ulac a d iɣli fell-as leḥzen d ameqqran ara t-isfeclen.
7so that on the contrary ye should rather shew grace and encourage, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with excessive grief.
8Ihi a kkun-nhuɣ a s-d-beggnem belli tḥemmlem-t.
8Wherefore I exhort you to assure him of [your] love.
9Uriɣ-awen ayagi iwakken ad ẓreɣ ma tețțaɣem awal di kullec.
9For to this end also I have written, that I might know, by putting you to the test, if as to everything ye are obedient.
10Win iwumi ara tsamḥem, a s-samḥeɣ ula d nekk ; ma yella wayen i ɣef ara samḥeɣ i yiwen, ɣef ddemma-nwen i s-sumḥeɣ zdat Lmasiḥ ;
10But to whom ye forgive anything, *I* also; for I also, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, [it is] for your sakes in [the] person of Christ;
11s wakka ur nețțaǧa ara Cciṭan a ɣ-iɣleb, axaṭer nessen lmeqṣud-is.
11that we might not have Satan get an advantage against us, for we are not ignorant of *his* thoughts.
12Mi wwḍeɣ ɣer temdint n Truwas iwakken ad beccṛeɣ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ n Lmasiḥ, Sidi Ṛebbi yeldi-yi-d tiwwura iwakken ad beccṛeɣ.
12Now when I came to Troas for the [publication of the] glad tidings of the Christ, a door also being opened to me in [the] Lord,
13Lameɛna ur yethenna ara wul-iw imi ur ufiɣ ara dinna gma-tneɣ Tit ; daymi ǧǧiɣ atmaten n temdint n Truwas, imiren ṛuḥeɣ ɣer tmurt n Masidunya.
13I had no rest in my spirit at not finding Titus my brother; but bidding them adieu, I came away to Macedonia.
14A neḥmed Sidi Ṛebbi a t-ncekkeṛ imi s Lmasiḥ i nɣelleb kullec yerna yerra-yaɣ d iqeddacen-is iwakken a nbecceṛ Lmasiḥ di mkul amkan am rriḥa taẓiḍant.
14But thanks [be] to God, who always leads us in triumph in the Christ, and makes manifest the odour of his knowledge through us in every place.
15?er Sidi Ṛebbi, d nukni i d rriḥa taẓiḍant n Lmasiḥ ger wid ițwasellken yellan deg webrid n Sidna Ɛisa akk-d wid iḍaɛen.
15For we are a sweet odour of Christ to God, in the saved and in those that perish:
16I wid iḍaɛen, d ṛṛiḥa n lmut i d-ițțaken lmut ; i wid yellan deg webrid n leslak, d rriḥa n tudert i d ițțaken tudert. Anwa ihi i gzemren ad ixdem ccɣel am wagi ?
16to the one an odour from death unto death, but to the others an odour from life unto life; and who [is] sufficient for these things?
17Nukni ur nețḥerrif ara awal n Sidi Ṛebbi iwakken a netjaṛ yis am akken xeddmen waṭas n yemdanen, lameɛna zdat Sidi Ṛebbi, ț-țideț i d-neqqaṛ mi nețbecciṛ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ n Lmasiḥ i ɣ-d-yekkan s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi.
17For we do not, as the many, make a trade of the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God, before God, we speak in Christ.
