Kabyle: New Testament

Darby's Translation

2 Corinthians

3

1D acekkeṛ i nebɣa a d-ncekkeṛ iman-nneɣ mi d-nenna imeslayen agi ? Eɛni neḥwaǧ ula d nukni a wen-nawi tibṛatin n lewṣaya neɣ a tent-id-nawi s ɣuṛ-wen am akken xeddmen kra n yemdanen ?
1Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or do we need, as some, commendatory letters to you, or [commendatory] from you?
2Tabṛaț-nneɣ, d kunwi s yiman nwen ; ț-țabṛaț yuran deg ulawen nneɣ, tețwassen yerna ɣṛan-ț akk yemdanen.
2*Ye* are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read of all men,
3Iban belli tabṛaț-agi yura-ț Lmasiḥ s yiman-is mi wen-d nbecceṛ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ ; mačči s lmidad i ț-yura lameɛna s Ṛṛuḥ n Ṛebbi yeddren, mačči ɣef teblaḍin n wezṛu i ț-ijerred lameɛna deg ulawen-nwen.
3being manifested to be Christ's epistle ministered by us, written, not with ink, but [the] Spirit of [the] living God; not on stone tables, but on fleshy tables of [the] heart.
4Lețkal-agi i nesɛa deg wayen i d-nenna, yekka-d s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi, s Lmasiḥ.
4And such confidence have we through the Christ towards God:
5Ur nezmir ara a d-nini belli d nukni i gxeddmen ccɣel-agi s tezmert-nneɣ lameɛna d Sidi Ṛebbi i ɣ-d-ițțaken tazmert deg wayen akk i nxeddem.
5not that we are competent of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our competency [is] of God;
6who has also made us competent, [as] ministers of [the] new covenant; not of letter, but of spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit quickens.
7Ccariɛa yețwajerden ɣef teblaḍin n wezṛu tesban-ed tamanegt n Sidi Ṛebbi deg udem n Sidna Musa, yețfeǧǧiǧ wudem-is almi ur zmiren ara wat Isṛail ad muqlen ɣuṛ-es ; ɣas akken, afeǧǧeǧ-nni ur ițdum ara.
7(But if the ministry of death, in letters, graven in stones, began with glory, so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses, on account of the glory of his face, [a glory] which is annulled;
8Ma yella ccariɛa i gețțawin ɣer lmut tban-ed s lɛaḍima am tin, acḥal ihi ara tili meqqṛet tmanegt i d-yewwi Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen i d-ițakken tudert !
8how shall not rather the ministry of the Spirit subsist in glory?
9Ma yella leqdic ɣef ccariɛa yețțawin ɣer lmut yesɛa ccan, acḥal meqqeṛ akteṛ ccan n leqdic ɣef Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen i gețțarran imdanen d iḥeqqiyen.
9For if the ministry of condemnation [be] glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory.
10Nezmer a d-nini : anda ara d tban tmanegt icceɛceɛen zik-nni zdat tin n tura ? Tuɣal d ulac !
10For also that [which was] glorified is not glorified in this respect, on account of the surpassing glory.
11Ma yella ayen ur nețdum ara yesɛa ccan, acḥal ihi i t-yugar di ccan wayen yețdumun.
11For if that annulled [was introduced] with glory, much rather that which abides [subsists] in glory.
12?ef ddemma n wusirem-agi, i nesɛa lețkal d ameqqran ;
12Having therefore such hope, we use much boldness:
13nukni ur nelli ara am Sidna Musa yețɣummun udem-is iwakken ur țwalin ara wat Isṛail lɛaḍima-nni ur nețdum ara.
13and not according as Moses put a veil on his own face, so that the children of Israel should not fix their eyes on the end of that annulled.
14Ar ass-a qquṛen iqeṛṛay-nsen, gguman ad fehmen ; imi leḥjab-nni ur yekkis ara m'ara d-ɣṛen di tira iqedsen n leɛqed aqdim, axaṭer leḥdjab-agi itekkes anagar s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
14But their thoughts have been darkened, for unto this day the same veil remains in reading the old covenant, unremoved, which in Christ is annulled.
15Ar ass-a, leḥjab-agi ițɣummu ulawen-nsen m'ara qqaṛen ccariɛa n Musa ;
15But unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil lies upon their heart.
16meɛna m'ara d-yuɣal wul n wemdan ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi, leḥjab-nni itekkes ;
16But when it shall turn to [the] Lord, the veil is taken away.)
17axaṭer Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen, d Ṛṛuḥ n Sidi Ṛebbi. Anda yella Ṛṛuḥ n Sidi Ṛebbi, tella tlelli.
17Now the Lord is the Spirit, but where the Spirit of [the] Lord [is, there is] liberty.
18Nukni ur nesɛi ara leḥjab ɣef wudmawen-nneɣ, tamanegt n Sidi Ṛebbi tețban-ed deg-nneɣ am akken di lemri, Sidi Ṛebbi yețbeddil-aɣ dayem iwakken a necbu ɣuṛ-es s tmanegt yețnernin.
18But *we* all, looking on the glory of the Lord, with unveiled face, are transformed according to the same image from glory to glory, even as by [the] Lord [the] Spirit.
