Darby's Translation

Ephesians

6

1A dderya, ḍuɛet imawlan-nwen akken yebɣa Sidi Ṛebbi, axaṭer ayagi d ayen yellan d lḥeqq.
1Children, obey your parents in [the] Lord, for this is just.
2Di ccariɛa i d-yefka Sidi Ṛebbi i Sidna Musa, d wagi i d lameṛ amezwaru yesɛan lemɛahda :
2Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,
3Qadeṛ baba-k d yemma-k iwakken aț-țɛiceḍ di lehna yerna ad yiɣzif leɛmeṛ-ik di ddunit.+
3that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest be long-lived on the earth.
4Ma d kunwi ay imawlan, ur sserfayet ara dderya-nwen, meɛna ṛebbit-țen akken i kkun-id-iweṣṣa Sidi Ṛebbi.
4And [ye] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.
5Ay aklan, ḍuɛet imɛellmen n ddunit-agi, s leqdeṛ, s wul yeṣfan d neyya am akken d Lmasiḥ i tețḍuɛum .
5Bondmen, obey masters according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in simplicity of your heart as to the Christ;
6Ayagi ur t-xeddmet ara kan m'ara kkun-țɛassan am akken tețnadim aț-țɛeǧbem i yemdanen, lameɛna ilit am iqeddacen n Lmasiḥ i gxeddmen lebɣi n Sidi Ṛebbi seg ul.
6not with eye-service as men-pleasers; but as bondmen of Christ, doing the will of God from [the] soul,
7Qedcet fell-asen am akken d Lmasiḥ s yiman-is i ɣef tqeddcem mačči ɣef yemdanen.
7serving with good will as to the Lord, and not to men;
8Teẓram belli win ixedmen lxiṛ, ama d akli neɣ d aḥeṛṛi, a t-yaf ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi.
8knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of [the] Lord, whether bond or free.
9Ma d kunwi ay imɛellmen, xedmet daɣen i iqeddacen-nwen akken yella di lebɣi n Sidi Ṛebbi ; ur xeddmet ara deg-sen lbaṭel, imi teẓram belli amɛellem-nsen yellan daɣen d amɛellem-nwen, deg igenwan i gella yerna nețța ur ixeddem ara lxilaf ger yemdanen.
9And, masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their and your Master is in heaven, and there is no acceptance of persons with him.
10Sǧehdet ihi iman-nwen s tezmert tameqqrant n Sidi Ṛebbi.
10For the rest, brethren, be strong in [the] Lord, and in the might of his strength.
11Refdet leslaḥ meṛṛa i d-yețțak Sidi Ṛebbi, iwakken ur kkun-iɣelleb ara Cciṭan s tḥila-ines ;
11Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil:
12axaṭer imenɣi-nneɣ mačči akk d yemdanen i gella, lameɛna nețnaɣ ț-țgeldiwin akk-d tnezmarin n ṭṭlam iḥekmen di ddunit-agi, akk-d leṛwaḥ imcumen yellan deg igenwan.
12because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies.
13Ɣef wayagi, refdet leslaḥ n Sidi Ṛebbi, iwakken aț-țizmirem aț-țqablem tiswiɛin iweɛṛen, s wakka ɣer taggara n umenuɣ a kkun-id-yaf lḥal mazal tbeddem.
13For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.
14Heggit iman-nwen am iɛsekṛiwen, beggset tideț, lset lḥeqq ɣef yidmaren-nwen am tidemmar n wuzzal.
14Stand therefore, having girt about your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15Sɛut zzwaṛa am warkasen deg yidaṛṛen-nwen, daymen theggam i ubecceṛ n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ.
15and shod your feet with [the] preparation of the glad tidings of peace:
16Di yal taswiɛt, sɛut liman am tseddarit s wayes ara tizmirem aț-țsensem isufa n tmes n Cciṭan ;
16besides all [these], having taken the shield of faith with which ye will be able to quench all the inflamed darts of the wicked one.
17cuddet leslak am tcacit n wuzzal ɣef wuqeṛṛuy-nwen, sxedmet asekkin n Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen yellan d awal n Sidi Ṛebbi.
17Have also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God's word;
18Di yal taswiɛt deɛɛut ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi s Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen s yal taẓallit d uḥellel. Ɛiwzet ihi, kettṛet di tẓallit, deɛɛut ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi ɣef watmaten meṛṛa ;
18praying at all seasons, with all prayer and supplication in [the] Spirit, and watching unto this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;
19deɛɛut daɣen fell-i iwakken a yi-d-yefk Sidi Ṛebbi imeslayen s wayes ara beccṛeɣ lbaḍna n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ mbla tugdi.
19and for me in order that utterance may be given to me in [the] opening of my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the glad tidings,
20Țțuceggɛeɣ-d ad beccṛeɣ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ ; ɣef ddemma-s i lliɣ d ameḥbus ; dɛut ihi iwakken a t-beccṛeɣ akken ilaq, mbla tugdi.
20for which I am an ambassador [bound] with a chain, that I may be bold in it as I ought to speak.
21Bɣiɣ aț-țeẓrem ula d kunwi ayen i yi-yeɛnan d wayen i xeddmeɣ, daymi i n-ceggɛeɣ gma-tneɣ ameɛzuz Tucik iqeddcen seg ul ɣef Sidna Ɛisa, d nețța ara kkun-isɛelmen ɣef kullec.
21But in order that *ye* also may know what concerns me, how I am getting on, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in [the] Lord, shall make all things known to you;
22Ceggɛeɣ-t-in iwakken aț-țeẓrem ayen akk i ɣ-iɛnan, yerna ad isseǧhed ulawen-nwen.
22whom I have sent to you for this very thing, that ye may know of our affairs and that he may encourage your hearts.
23Ay atmaten, lehna, leḥmala akk-d liman a wen-d-țțunefken s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi baba-tneɣ akk-d Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
23Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
24Ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi a d-ters ɣef wid akk iḥemmlen Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ s lmaḥibba ur nfennu !
24Grace with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption.
