1-- S tideț a wen-d-iniɣ, win ur nkeččem ara si tewwurt ɣer wemṛaḥ ( leɛzib ) n wulli, iɛedda si ẓẓeṛb, winna d amakar yerna d aqeṭṭaɛ.
1Verily, verily, I say to you, He that enters not in by the door to the fold of the sheep, but mounts up elsewhere, *he* is a thief and a robber;
2Ma d win ikeččmen si tewwurt d nețța i d ameksa n wulli.
2but he that enters in by the door is [the] shepherd of the sheep.
3Aɛessas n wemṛaḥ ileddi tawwurt i umeksa, ulli sellent i ṣṣut-is, issawal-asent s yismawen-nsent, yessufuɣ-itent ɣer beṛṛa.
3To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
4Mi gessufeɣ tid akk yellan-ines, izeggir zdat-sent, ulli ttabaɛent-eț axaṭer ssnent ṣṣut-is.
4When he has put forth all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
5D lmuḥal ad tebɛen-t abeṛṛani, ad rewlent fell-as imi ur ssinent ara ṣṣut n ibeṛṛaniyen.
5But they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they know not the voice of strangers.
6Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen lemtel agi, lameɛna ur fhimen ara ayen yebɣa a sen-yini.
6This allegory spoke Jesus to them, but they did not know what it was [of] which he spoke to them.
7Yenna yasen daɣen : S tideț qqaṛeɣ-awen, d nekk i ț-țawwurt ansi țɛeddayent wulli.
7Jesus therefore said again to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
8Wid meṛṛa i d-yusan uqbel-iw d imakaren d iqeṭṭaɛen. Lameɛna ulli ur sen-ḥessent ara.
8All whoever came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them.
9D nekk i ț-țawwurt. Win ara ikecmen yis-i ad yețțusellek : ad ikcem ad yeffeɣ akken i s-ihwa, ad yaf ayen ara yečč.
9I am the door: if any one enter in by me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and shall find pasture.
10Amakar yețțas-ed kan iwakken ad yaker, ad yezlu, ad yessenger. Nekk usiɣ-ed iwakken ad fkeɣ tudert i wulli-inu, tudert s tugeț (ṭaqa).
10The thief comes not but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I am come that they might have life, and might have [it] abundantly.
11D nekk i d ameksa n ṣṣeḥ. Ameksa n ṣṣeḥ yețțsebbil tudert-is ɣef wulli-ines.
11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep:
12Ma d win ur nelli ara d ameksa n wulli ur nelli ara d bab-nsent, d ameksa kan yețwaxelṣen, ireggel, ițaǧǧa ulli m'ara iwali uccen. Imiren uccen a d-yezḍem ɣef wulli, ad yawi kra seg-sent yerna ad yesserwel akk taqeḍɛit.
12but he who serves for wages, and who is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf seizes them and scatters the sheep.
13Argaz-agi ixeddem akka imi d ameksa kan yețwaxelṣen, ur as tewqiɛ ara deg wulli.
13Now he who serves for wages flees because he serves for wages, and is not himself concerned about the sheep.
14Nekk d ameksa n ṣṣeḥ, ssneɣ ulli-inu nutenti ssnent-iyi,
14I am the good shepherd; and I know those that are mine, and am known of those that are mine,
15akken i yi-issen Baba Ṛebbi i t-ssneɣ ula d nekk. ?sebbileɣ tudert-iw ɣef wulli-inu.
15as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16Sɛiɣ daɣen ulli nniḍen ur nelli ara seg wemṛaḥ agi. Tigi daɣen ilaq a tent-id-awiɣ, a d-ḥessent i ṣṣut-iw, s wakka aț-țili anagar yiwet n tqeḍɛit s yiwen umeksa.
16And I have other sheep which are not of this fold: those also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.
17Baba iḥemmel-iyi imi țsebbileɣ tudert-iw meɛna syin akkin a ț-id-rreɣ.
17On this account the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again.
18Yiwen ur izmir a yi-ikkes tudert, țsebbileɣ-ț s lebɣi-inu. Sɛiɣ tazmert a ț-sebbleɣ, sɛiɣ daɣen tazmert a ț-id-rreɣ. D wagi i d lameṛ i yi-d yefka Baba Ṛebbi.
18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment of my Father.
19Mi d-yenna imeslayen-agi, yekker daɣen lxilaf ger lɣaci.
19There was a division again among the Jews on account of these words;
20Aṭas deg-sen qqaṛen : Argaz-agi yezdeɣ-it lǧen, yedderwec, acuɣeṛ i s-tesmeḥsisem ?
20but many of them said, He has a demon and raves; why do ye hear him?
21Wiyaḍ qqaṛen : Win ițwamelken ur yețmeslay ara akka. Qqaṛen daɣen : Izmer lǧen a d-yerr iẓri i iderɣalen ?
21Others said, These sayings are not [those] of one that is possessed by a demon. Can a demon open blind people's eyes?
22Yewweḍ-ed lweqt anda i țɛeggiden di temdint n Lquds lɛid n weɛzal n Lǧameɛ iqedsen ; imiren d ccetwa.
22Now the feast of the dedication was celebrating at Jerusalem, and it was winter.
23Sidna Ɛisa yella yețṛuḥu ițțuɣal deg wefrag n Lǧameɛ iqedsen seddaw n wesqif n Sidna Sliman.
23And Jesus walked in the temple in the porch of Solomon.
24Yezzi-yas-d lɣaci, nnan-as : Ar melmi ara ɣ-teǧǧeḍ di ccekk ? Ma d Lmasiḥ i telliḍ ini-aɣ t-id ɛinani !
24The Jews therefore surrounded him, and said to him, Until when dost thou hold our soul in suspense? If thou art the Christ, say [so] to us openly.
25Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Nniɣ-awen-t-id ur tuminem ara, yerna twalam lecɣal i xeddmeɣ s yisem n Baba : d lecɣal-agi i d yețcehhiden fell-i.
25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye do not believe. The works which I do in my Father's name, these bear witness concerning me:
26Kunwi ur tețțamnem ara axaṭer ur tellim ara seg ulli-inu.
26but ye do not believe, for ye are not of my sheep, as I told you.
27Ulli-inu smeḥsisent i ṣṣut-iw, ssneɣ-tent yerna ttabaɛent iyi-d.
27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;
28?țakeɣ-asent tudert n dayem, ur țmețțatent ara maḍi, yiwen ur izmir a tent-yekkes seg ufus-iw.
28and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand.
29Baba i yi-tent-id-yefkan yugar kullec, win yellan ger ifassen is, yiwen ur izmir a s-t-id-yekkes
29My Father who has given [them] to me is greater than all, and no one can seize out of the hand of my Father.
30axaṭer nekk d Baba, d yiwen.
30I and the Father are one.
31Jemɛen-d daɣen idɣaɣen akken a t-nɣen.
31The Jews therefore again took stones that they might stone him.
32Yekker Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Xedmeɣ zdat-wen aṭas n lecɣal yelhan yessewhamen, s tezmert n Baba ; ɣef wanwa deg-sen i tebɣam a yi-tenɣem s iblaḍen ?
32Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewn you of my Father; for which work of them do ye stone me?
33At Isṛail nnan-as : Mačči ɣef ccɣel yelhan i nebɣa a k-neṛjem, lameɛna imi i tkeffreḍ ! Axaṭer kečč yellan d amdan terriḍ iman-ik d Ṛebbi.
33The Jews answered him, For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy, and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Eɛni ur yuri ara di ccariɛa nwen : Nekk, Sidi Ṛebbi nniɣ-awen : Kunwi d iṛebbiten !
34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35Yiwen ur yezmir ad inkeṛ ayen i d-nnant tira iqedsen. Ma yella ccariɛa-nwen tsemma «iṛebbiten» wid iwumi i d-ițțuceggeɛ wawal n Ṛebbi,
35If he called *them* gods to whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken),
36amek armi teqqaṛem fell-i keffṛeɣ mi d-nniɣ « nekk d Mmi-s n Ṛebbi, » eɛni mačči d Baba i yi-ixtaṛen, i yi-d-iceggɛen ɣer ddunit ?
36do ye say of him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am Son of God?
37Lemmer ur xeddmeɣ ara lecɣal n Baba tili ur teḥwaǧem ara aț țamnem yis-i.
37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not;
38Lameɛna ma xeddmeɣ-ten, ɣas akken ur tebɣim ara aț-țamnem yis-i, amnet s lecɣal-iw akken aț țeẓrem, aț-țfehmem belli Baba yella deg-i nekk lliɣ di Baba.
38but if I do, even if ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may know [and believe] that the Father is in me and I in him.
39?ef yimeslayen-agi, lecyux n at Isṛail ɛeṛden a t-ṭṭfen lameɛna yemneɛ si ger ifassen-nsen.
39They sought therefore again to take him; and he went away from out of their hand
40Syenna Sidna Ɛisa iṛuḥ ɣer tama nniḍen n wasif n Urdun, ɣer wemkan nni anda i gesseɣḍes Yeḥya lɣaci, yeqqim dinna kra n wussan.
40and departed again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptising at the first: and he abode there.
41Aṭas i d-yusan ɣuṛ-es, qqaṛen wway gar-asen : Yeḥya ur yexdim ula d yiwen lbeṛhan, lameɛna ayen akk i d-yenna ɣef wergaz-agi ț-țideț.
41And many came to him, and said, John did no sign; but all things which John said of this [man] were true.
42Dinna, aṭas n lɣaci i gumnen yis.
42And many believed on him there.
