Revelation

12

1Tban-ed licaṛa ț-țameqqrant deg igenni : walaɣ yiwet tmeṭṭut tesburr-ed iṭij am llebsa, aggur seddaw iḍaṛṛen-is, tesɛa ɣef wuqeṛṛuy-is taɛeṣṣabt n tnac yitran.
1And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;
2Tella s tadist, yewweḍ-ed lweqt i deg ara d-tarew, tebda tețɛeggiḍ seg weqṛaḥ n tarrawt.
2and being with child she cried, [being] in travail, and in pain to bring forth.
3Tban-ed licaṛa nniḍen deg igenni : walaɣ yiwet llafɛa tazeggaɣt am tmes, tesɛa sebɛa iqeṛṛay akk-d ɛecṛa wacciwen, mkul aqeṛṛuy ters fell-as tɛeṣṣabt.
3And another sign was seen in the heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems;
4Ajelkkiḍ-is yezzuɣeṛ-ed țelt n yitran n igenni, ideggeṛ-iten-id ɣer ddunit. Llafɛa-nni tbedd zdat tmeṭṭut-nni ara d-yarwen, iwakken aț-țessebleɛ lṭufan-ines akken kan ara d-ilal.
4and his tail draws the third part of the stars of the heaven; and he cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, in order that when she brought forth he might devour her child.
5Tesɛa-d aqcic ara yeksen leǧnas meṛṛa s tɛekkazt n wuzzal. Aqcic-nni yețwarfed ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi, ɣer wemkan n lḥekma-ines.
5And she brought forth a male son, who shall shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to his throne.
6Tameṭṭut-nni terwel ɣer lexla anda i s-ihegga Sidi Ṛebbi amkan iwakken aț-țečč azal n walef umitin usețțin n wussan.
6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has there a place prepared of God, that they should nourish her there a thousand two hundred [and] sixty days.
7Yedṛa-d umenɣi deg igenni, Mixayel akk-d lmalayekkat-is nnuɣen akk-d llafɛa-nni. Llafɛa-nni d lmalayekkat-is nnuɣen-ten ula d nutni,
7And there was war in the heaven: Michael and his angels went to war with the dragon. And the dragon fought, and his angels;
8lameɛna ur ten-ɣliben ara, daymi i sen-yețwakkes wemkan-nsen deg igenni.
8and he prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven.
9Llafɛa-nni tameqqrant tețțuḍeggeṛ ɣer ddunit nețțat d lmalayekkat-is, tin akken yellan d azrem-nni n zik yețțusemman Iblis, Cciṭan, tin i gxedɛen ddunit meṛṛa.
9And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10Sliɣ deg igenni i yiwen ṣṣut ɛlayen yeqqaṛ : tura yewweḍ-ed leslak, Nḥemmed-ik a Sidi Ṛebbi, lḥekma ț-țezmert i Sidi Ṛebbi Illu-nneɣ, lḥekma n ddunit tuɣal ɣer ifassen n Lmasiḥ-ines, axaṭer win i gesseḍlamen atmaten-nneɣ, win yețcektayen fell-asen iḍ d wass zdat Sidi Ṛebbi Illu-nneɣ, yețțuḍeggeṛ seg igenni.
10And I heard a great voice in the heaven saying, Now is come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, who accused them before our God day and night:
11?elben-t watmaten-nneɣ s idammen n Izimer i ten-id-yefdan akk-d cchada-nsen fell-as yerna ur ɛuzzen ara tudert-nsen lameɛna sebblen-ț fell-as.
11and *they* have overcome him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of the word of their testimony, and have not loved their life even unto death.
12?ef wayagi feṛḥet ay igenwan, a wid i gzedɣen igenwan ! A nnger-im a lqaɛa ! A nnger-ik a lebḥeṛ ! Imi i d-iṣubb ɣuṛ-wen Cciṭan s wurrif ameqqran, axaṭer yeẓra drus n lweqt i s-d-iqqimen.
12Therefore be full of delight, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great rage, knowing he has a short time.
13Llafɛa-nni, mi twala iman-is tețwaḍeggeṛ ɣer lqaɛa, tetbeɛ tameṭṭut nni i d-yesɛan aqcic.
13And when the dragon saw that he had been cast out into the earth, he persecuted the woman which bore the male [child].
14Imiren kan țțunefken-as i tmeṭṭut-nni sin wafriwen n lbaz ameqqran iwakken aț-țafeg ɣer unezṛuf anda ara tɛic tlata iseggasen d wezgen, mebɛid ɣef wezrem.
14And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the desert into her place, where she is nourished there a time, and times, and half a time, from [the] face of the serpent.
15Azrem-nni yessufeɣ-ed seg uqemmuc-is aman, feggḍen-d am asif deffir n tmeṭṭut-nni iwakken aț-țyawi uḥemmal.
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth behind the woman water as a river, that he might make her be [as] one carried away by a river.
16Lameɛna lqaɛa tsellek tameṭṭut nni, tessebleɛ aman-nni i d-ifeggḍen seg uqemmuc n llafɛa-nni.
16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17Llafɛa terfa ɣef tmeṭṭut-nni, tṛuḥ aț-țeskker imenɣi akk-d wid i d yeqqimen si dderya-s, wid i gḍuɛen lumuṛ n Sidi Ṛebbi yerna ṭṭfen di tideț n Sidna Ɛisa.
17And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.
18Llafɛa-nni tbedd ɣef ṛṛmel n lebḥeṛ.
