Darby's Translation

Revelation

13

1Walaɣ yiwet leɛqiṛa tuli-d si lebḥeṛ, tesɛa sebɛa iqeṛṛay d ɛecṛa wacciwen, tesɛa ɣef wacciwen-is ɛecṛa tɛeṣṣabin, ma ɣef yiqeṛṛay-ines uran yismawen n rregmat.
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea; and I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and upon its horns ten diadems, and upon its heads names of blasphemy.
2Leɛqiṛa i walaɣ tecba aɣilas, iḍaṛṛen-is am wid n wersel, axenfuc is am uxenfuc n yizem. Llafɛa-nni tefka-yas tazmert aț-țeḥkem deg umkan-is s lḥekma tameqqrant.
2And the beast which I saw was like to a leopardess, and its feet as of a bear, and its mouth as a lion's mouth; and the dragon gave to it his power, and his throne, and great authority;
3Walaɣ yiwen seg iqeṛṛay-ines am akken yețwamzel, lameɛna lǧerḥ n tmezliwt-nni yeḥla. Imezdaɣ n ddunit meṛṛa dehcen ɣef wannect-agi, dɣa tebɛen leɛqiṛa-nni.
3and one of his heads [was] as slain to death, and his wound of death had been healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast.
4?seǧǧiden-as i llafɛa-nni, axaṭer tefka lḥekma-s i leɛqiṛa ; țseǧǧiden daɣen zdat leɛqiṛa qqaṛen : anwa yellan am leɛqiṛa, anwa i gzemren ad yennaɣ yid-es ?
4And they did homage to the dragon, because he gave the authority to the beast; and they did homage to the beast, saying, Who [is] like to the beast? and who can make war with it?
5Yețțunefk-as uxenfuc i seg i d-țeffɣen imeslayen iqebḥen akk-d rregmat ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi. Tețțunefk-as tezmert aț-țeḥkem azal n tnin uṛebɛin n wagguren.
5And there was given to it a mouth, speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to it authority to pursue its career forty-two months.
6Teldi axenfuc-is, tețqabaḥ Sidi Ṛebbi, treggem isem-is d wemkan i deg yețțili akk-d kra wid i gzedɣen deg igenni.
6And it opened its mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle, and those who have their tabernacle in the heaven.
7 Serrḥen-as aț-țeskker imenɣi akk-d wid yextaṛ Sidi Ṛebbi yerna a ten-teɣleb. Tețțunefk-as lḥekma ɣef mkul lɛeṛc, ɣef mkul agdud, d mkul lǧens n mkul tutlayt.
7And there was given to it to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given to it authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation;
8Kra win ur nețwajerred ara di tektabt n tudert yellan seg wasmi tebda ddunit, di tektabt n Izimer immezlen, ad seǧǧden zdat-es.
8and all that dwell on the earth shall do it homage, [every one] whose name had not been written from [the] founding of [the] world in the book of life of the slain Lamb.
9Win yesɛan imeẓẓuɣen isel-ed !
9If any one has an ear, let him hear.
10If any one [leads] into captivity, he goes into captivity. If any one shall kill with [the] sword, he must with [the] sword be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
11Walaɣ daɣen yiwet leɛqiṛa nniḍen teffeɣ-ed seddaw n tmurt. Tesɛa sin wacciwen am wid n izimer, tețmeslay am llafɛa.
11And I saw another beast rising out of the earth; and it had two horns like to a lamb, and spake as a dragon;
12Tessexdam tazmert n leɛqiṛa tamezwarut ɣer tama-ines, teṣṣaweḍ armi terra imezdaɣ n ddunit meṛṛa țseǧǧiden zdat leɛqiṛa-nni tamezwarut i geḥlan si lǧerḥ-is.
12and it exercises all the authority of the first beast before it, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to do homage to the first beast, whose wound of death was healed.
13Txeddem lbeṛhanat imeqqranen zdat yemdanen, tesseɣlay-ed times seg igenni ɣer lqaɛa.
13And it works great signs, that it should cause even fire to come down from heaven to the earth before men.
14Tețɣuṛṛu imezdaɣ n ddunit s lbeṛhanat i s-yețțunefken a ten texdem seddaw lḥekma n leɛqiṛa-nni tamezwarut, teqqaṛ asen : sbeddet yiwen lmeṣnuɛ ɣef ṣṣifa n leɛqiṛa-nni yețțewten s ujenwi tuɣal teḥla.
14And it deceives those that dwell upon the earth by reason of the signs which it was given to it to work before the beast, saying to those that dwell upon the earth to make an image to the beast, which has the wound of the sword, and lived.
15Leɛqiṛa tis snat, tețțunefk-as tezmert a s-tefk ṛṛuḥ i lmeṣnuɛ n leɛqiṛa-nni tamezwarut, iwakken lmeṣnuɛ-nni ad yizmir a d-yenṭeq, yerna ad ineɣ meṛṛa wid yugin a t-ɛebbden.
15And it was given to it to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should also speak, and should cause that as many as should not do homage to the image of the beast should be killed.
16Leɛqiṛa-nni tḥețțem ɣef yemdanen, meẓẓi neɣ meqqeṛ, d igellil neɣ d ameṛkanti, d akli neɣ d aḥeṛṛi, ad wwten ticṛaḍ deg ufus ayeffus neɣ deg unyir-nsen,
16And it causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bondmen, that they should give them a mark upon their right hand or upon their forehead;
17yerna ula d yiwen ur izemmer ad yaɣ neɣ ad yezzenz, anagar win yesɛan ticṛaḍ-agi n yisem n leɛqiṛa neɣ numṛu n yisem-is.
17and that no one should be able to buy or sell save he that had the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of its name.
18Win iḥeṛcen yesɛan tamusni d leɛqel, a d-yaf lmeɛna n numṛu n leɛqiṛa yellan d isem n yiwen wergaz, numṛu-agi : d sețțemeyya usețța usețțin.
18Here is wisdom. He that has understanding let him count the number of the beast: for it is a man's number; and its number [is] six hundred [and] sixty-six.
