1Nekk Bulus, yellan d aqeddac n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, țwaxtaṛeɣ ad iliɣ d ṛṛasul, iwakken ad beccṛeɣ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ n Sidi Ṛebbi.
1Paul, bondman of Jesus Christ, [a] called apostle, separated to God's glad tidings,
2Lexbaṛ-agi n lxiṛ i d-yewɛed Sidi Ṛebbi si zik s yimi n lenbiya di tira iqedsen,
2(which he had before promised by his prophets in holy writings,)
3d ayen yeɛnan Mmi-s, Ɛisa Lmasiḥ Ssid-nneɣ i d-ilulen d amdan seg wedrum n Dawed,
3concerning his Son (come of David's seed according to flesh,
4yețțusemma d Mmi-s n Ṛebbi s tezmert n Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen, s ḥeggu-ines si ger lmegtin.
4marked out Son of God in power, according to [the] Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of [the] dead) Jesus Christ our Lord;
5Yis i ɣ-ixdem Sidi Ṛebbi lemziya a nili d imceggɛen, iwakken a d-nawi s yisem-is imdanen n leǧnas meṛṛa ad amnen yis yerna ad aɣen awal-is.
5by whom we have received grace and apostleship in behalf of his name, for obedience of faith among all the nations,
6Yessawel-awen-d ula i kunwi yellan ger leǧnas-agi, iwakken aț-țilim d ayla n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
6among whom are *ye* also [the] called of Jesus Christ:
7I wid akk yellan di temdint n Ṛuma, i gḥemmel Sidi Ṛebbi, iwumi i d-yessawel ad ilin d ayla-s : ṛṛeḥma ț-țalwit a wen-d-țțunefkent s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi baba-tneɣ akk-d Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
7to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and [our] Lord Jesus Christ.
8Di tazwara, ad ḥemdeɣ Sidi Ṛebbi fell-awen meṛṛa s yisem n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, axaṭer yeffeɣ lexbaṛ di ddunit meṛṛa belli tumnem s Lmasiḥ.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed in the whole world.
9Sidi Ṛebbi i ɛebbdeɣ seg ul-iw, i ɣef qeddceɣ imi țbecciṛeɣ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ yeɛnan Mmi-s, yeẓra belli țțadreɣ-kkun-id dima m'ara deɛɛuɣ ɣuṛ-es.
9For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the glad tidings of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you,
10Ssutureɣ mkul ass i Sidi Ṛebbi iwakken ma yebɣa, ad afeɣ abrid amek ara n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-wen.
10always beseeching at my prayers, if any way now at least I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.
11Acḥal i bɣiɣ a kkun-ẓreɣ, akken a kkun-slemdeɣ ɣef kra n tukciwin i d-ițțak Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen iwakken aț țǧehdem ;
11For I greatly desire to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to establish you;
12yerna m'ara n-awḍeɣ ɣuṛ-wen, a nemseǧhad wway gar aneɣ ; kunwi s liman-nwen, nekk s liman-inu, imi yiwen n liman i ɣ-isdukklen.
12that is, to have mutual comfort among you, each by the faith [which is] in the other, both yours and mine.
13Ay atmaten, bɣiɣ aț-țeẓrem belli acḥal n tikkal i ɛerḍeɣ a n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-wen, iwakken lxedma inu a wen-d-teglu s kra n lfayda, am akken i d-tewwi lfayda i leǧnas nniḍen ; meɛna ar tura mazal țmagareɣ-ed uguren.
13But I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, that I often proposed to come to you, (and have been hindered until the present time,) that I might have some fruit among you too, even as among the other nations also.
14Ilaq-iyi ad ṛuḥeɣ ɣer yemdanen n ddunit meṛṛa, ɣer leǧnas itqeddmen akk-d wid ur netqeddem ara, ɣer wid yeɣṛan d wid ur neɣṛi ara.
14I am a debtor both to Greeks and barbarians, both to wise and unintelligent:
15Daymi i bɣiɣ ad beccṛeɣ daɣen lexbaṛ-agi n lxiṛ, i kunwi yellan di temdint n Ṛuma.
15so, as far as depends on me, am I ready to announce the glad tidings to you also who [are] in Rome.
16Ur ssetḥaɣ ara s lexbaṛ-agi n lxiṛ, axaṭer ț-țazmert n Sidi Ṛebbi i leslak n kra win yumnen yis ; di tazwara i wat Isṛail, a d-ḍefṛen leǧnas nniḍen.
16For I am not ashamed of the glad tidings; for it is God's power to salvation, to every one that believes, both to Jew first and to Greek:
17Lexbaṛ-agi n lxiṛ ibeggen-ed amek i gețțarra Sidi Ṛebbi imdanen d iḥeqqiyen s liman, axaṭer s liman kan i nezmer a nuɣal d iḥeqqiyen si tazwara alamma ț-țaggara. Akken yura di tira iqedsen : Aḥeqqi ad yidir s liman.
17for righteousness of God is revealed therein, on the principle of faith, to faith: according as it is written, But the just shall live by faith.
18Sidi Ṛebbi ițbeggin-ed urrif-is seg igenni ɣef ddnub d cceṛ n yemdanen i gețɣummun lḥeqq s lbaṭel ;
18For there is revealed wrath of God from heaven upon all impiety, and unrighteousness of men holding the truth in unrighteousness.
19axaṭer ayen akk i glaqen a t-issinen ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi, ẓran-t ; d Ṛebbi s yiman-is i sen-t-id isbeggnen.
19Because what is known of God is manifest among them, for God has manifested [it] to them,
20Seg wasmi i d-yexleq ddunit, ayen akk yeffren ɣef wallen, nețwali-t di lecɣal-is ; nezmer a neɛqel belli d nețța kan i d Ṛebbi yesɛan tazmert ur nfennu ; daymi wigi ulac fell-asen ssmaḥ.
20-- for from [the] world's creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity, -- so as to render them inexcusable.
21?as akken ẓran yella Ṛebbi, ur setɛeṛfen ara yis ; ur t-ḥmiden, ur t-ckiṛen, lameɛna țkemmilen deg yir ixemmimen-nsen armi iɣumm ṭṭlam ulawen-nsen.
21Because, knowing God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but fell into folly in their thoughts, and their heart without understanding was darkened:
22?țaran iman-nsen d lɛuqal armi uɣalen d imejhal.
22professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23Beddlen lɛaḍima n Sidi Ṛebbi yeddren s lmeṣnuɛat yesɛan ṣṣifa n wemdan ifennun, ṣṣifa n leḍyuṛ, n lewḥuc yesɛan ṛebɛa iḍaṛṛen, d wayen akk ileḥḥun ɣef wuɛebbuḍ ;
23and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into [the] likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and quadrupeds and reptiles.
24daymi i ten-yeǧǧa Sidi Ṛebbi tebɛen lebɣi n wulawen-nsen, xeddmen ticmatin, ṣṣawḍen armi kksen lḥeṛma ɣef yiman-nsen.
24Wherefore God gave them up [also] in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, to dishonour their bodies between themselves:
25Beddlen tideț n Sidi Ṛebbi s lekdeb, ɛebbden ayen yețwaxelqen, ǧǧan win i d-ixelqen kullec, nețța i gețțubarken i dayem ; Amin !
25who changed the truth of God into falsehood, and honoured and served the creature more than him who had created [it], who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26?-țagi i d sebba i ɣef ten-yeǧǧa Sidi Ṛebbi di lɛaṛ n ccehwat-nsen ; tilawin țbeddilent irgazen s tilawin.
26For this reason God gave them up to vile lusts; for both their females changed the natural use into that contrary to nature;
27Ula d irgazen țțaǧan tilawin, ițenkkar uḥaṛuq wway gar-asen, țemyexdamen lɛaṛ ; d wagi i d lexlaṣ i yuklalen ɣef tidderɣelt-nsen.
27and in like manner the males also, leaving the natural use of the female, were inflamed in their lust towards one another; males with males working shame, and receiving in themselves the recompense of their error which was fit.
28Imi ugin ad issinen Ṛebbi, Sidi Ṛebbi yeǧǧa-ten di lɛeqliya-nsen iɛewjen iwakken ad xedmen ayen ur nlaq ara.
28And according as they did not think good to have God in [their] knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind to practise unseemly things;
29?čuṛen d lbaṭel akk-d wayen n diri : d ṭṭmeɛ, d cceṛ, ț-țismin ; d at tmegṛaḍ, d at ccwal, d at tḥila, d at tiḥeṛci, d iqeṛṛaḍen.
29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil dispositions; whisperers,
30Wa yekkat deg wa, d iɛdawen n Ṛebbi, ur țneḥcamen ara, d imzuxiyen, d ikeddaben ; snulfuyen-d cceṛ, țɛaṣin lwaldin-nsen.
30back-biters, hateful to God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Ur sɛin lefhama, ur sɛin laman, ulac deg wulawen-nsen ṛṛeḥma neɣ leḥnana.
31void of understanding, faithless, without natural affection, unmerciful;
32?as akken ẓran lḥisab n Sidi Ṛebbi yețṛaǧu wid ixeddmen annect-agi yerna uklalen lmut, țkemmilen di tikli-nsen yerna feṛḥen s wid ixeddmen am nutni.
32who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that they who do such things are worthy of death, not only practise them, but have fellow delight in those who do [them].
