1Sidna Ɛisa iteddu yețbecciṛ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ n tgeldit n Ṛebbi si temdint ɣer tayeḍ, si taddart ɣer tayeḍ. Tnac-nni yinelmaden-is ddan yid-es,
1It happened soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. With him were the twelve,
2ddant daɣen kra n tilawin i gesseḥla si lehlakat-nsent, tid iwumi yessufeɣ leǧnun. Tella gar-asent Meryem iwumi qqaṛen tamagdalit ițwasellken si sebɛa leǧnun,
2and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out;
3akk-d Yunna tameṭṭut n Cuza lewkil n ugellid Hiṛudus, Suzana akk ț-țilawin nniḍen i ten-ițɛawanen s wayen sɛant.
3and Joanna, the wife of Chuzas, Herod’s steward; Susanna; and many others; who served them TR reads “him” instead of “them” from their possessions.
4Lɣaci usan-d seg waṭas n tudrin. Mi d-nnejmaɛen ɣuṛ-es, Sidna Ɛisa yewwi-yasen-d lemtel-agi :
4When a great multitude came together, and people from every city were coming to him, he spoke by a parable.
5Yiwen ufellaḥ iffeɣ ad izreɛ irden. Mi gzerreɛ, kra n iɛeqqayen ɣlin ɣer webrid , țwaṛekḍen yerna ččan-ten yefṛax n igenni.
5 “The farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled under foot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
6Amur nniḍen n zzerriɛa yeɣli ger yedɣaɣen , mi d-temɣi teqquṛ imi xuṣṣen waman.
6 Other seed fell on the rock, and as soon as it grew, it withered away, because it had no moisture.
7Amur nniḍen yeɣli daɣen ger isennanen , mi d-temɣi zzerriɛa mɣin-d yid-es isennanen, ɣummen-ț.
7 Other fell amid the thorns, and the thorns grew with it, and choked it.
8Amur nniḍen daɣen yeɣli deg wakal lɛali ; mi d-mɣin, mkul aɛeqqa yefka-d meyya. Mi d-yenna ayagi, iɛeggeḍ yenna : Win yesɛan imeẓẓuɣen isel-ed !
8 Other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit one hundred times.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
9Inelmaden-is ssutren-as d acu i d lmeɛna n lemtel-agi.
9Then his disciples asked him, “What does this parable mean?”
10Yerra-yasen : Kunwi yețțunefk-awen-d aț țissinem lbaḍna n tgeldit n Ṛebbi, ma d wiyaḍ ițțunefk-asen-d a ț-issinen s lemtul kan iwakken ɣas ad ẓren s wallen-nsen ur țwalin ara, ɣas ma slan ur fehhmen ara.
10He said, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ Isaiah 6:9
11Atah lmeɛna n lemtel-agi : zzerriɛa d awal n Ṛebbi.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12Llan kra n yemdanen țemcabin ɣer webrid-nni anda teɣli zzerriɛa, m'ara slen i wawal, Cciṭan a d-yas a t-iqleɛ seg ulawen-nsen iwakken ur țțamnen ur țwasellaken.
12 Those along the road are those who hear, then the devil comes, and takes away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.
13Wiyaḍ țemcabin ɣer wakal yeččuṛen d idɣaɣen. M'ara slen i wawal a t-qeblen s lfeṛḥ lameɛna ur t-țaǧǧan ara ad iger izuṛan ; imiren kan ad amnen, m'ara d-yas lweqt n ujeṛṛeb țțuɣalen ɣer deffir.
13 Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.
14Ayen yeɣlin ger isennanen, d wid isellen i wawal meɛna m'ara d-imɣi ur igemmu ara deg-sen axaṭer țțaǧan anezgum d rrbeḥ akk-d zzhu n ddunit ad iɣumm awal-nni.
14 That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
15Ma d ayen yețwazerɛen deg wakal lɛali, d wid isellen i wawal s wul yeṣfan d neyya ḥerzen-t yerna țțaǧan-d lxiṛ s ṣṣbeṛ-nsen.
15 That in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and bring forth fruit with patience.
16Yiwen ur iceɛɛel taftilt iwakken a ț-iɣum s lḥila neɣ a ț-issedreg; lameɛna a ț-issers ɣef lmeṣbeḥ iwakken kra n win ara d-ikecmen ad iwali tafat.
16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
17Kra n wayen yeffren a d-iban, kra n wayen yellan di ṭṭlam a t-id-tesban tafat.
17 For nothing is hidden, that will not be revealed; nor anything secret, that will not be known and come to light.
18Ɛasset iman-nwen ihi ɣef wayen i tsellem, axaṭer win i gḥerzen ayen yesɛa a s-nernu, ma d win ur nḥerrez ara a s-ițwakkes ula d ayen i gɣil yesɛa-t.
18 Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has.”
19Yemma-s d watmaten n Sidna Ɛisa usan-d a t-ẓren, meɛna ur zmiren ara ad qeṛṛben ɣuṛ-es imi aṭas n lɣaci i gellan dinna.
19His mother and brothers came to him, and they could not come near him for the crowd.
20Ssawḍen-as lexbaṛ nnan-as : A Sidi, yemma-k d watmaten-ik atnan di beṛṛa, bɣan a k-ẓren.
20It was told him by some saying, “Your mother and your brothers stand outside, desiring to see you.”
21Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Yemma d watmaten-iw d widak ismeḥsisen i wawal n Ṛebbi yerna ttabaɛen-t.
21But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God, and do it.”
22Yiwen wass, Sidna Ɛisa yuli ɣer yiwet n teflukt nețța d yinelmaden-is. Yenna-yasen : Eyyaw a nzegret ɣer tama nniḍen n lebḥeṛ n Jlili. Dɣa ṛuḥen.
22Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.
23Mi teddun ɣef waman, Sidna Ɛisa yeṭṭes. Yekker-ed waḍu iǧehden di lebḥeṛ, taflukt tebda tețțačaṛ d aman, ikcem-iten lxuf ameqqran.
23But as they sailed, he fell asleep. A wind storm came down on the lake, and they were taking on dangerous amounts of water.
24Inelmaden qeṛṛben ɣuṛ-es, sekkren-t-id nnan-as : A Sidi, a Sidi, atan a neɣṛeq. Yekker-ed, dɣa yumeṛ i waḍu d lemwaji ad ḥebsen, imiren kan ters-ed talwit.
24They came to him, and awoke him, saying, “Master, master, we are dying!” He awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm. See Psalm 107:29
25Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Anida-t liman-nwen ? Tɛeǧǧben, țergigin, qqaṛen wway gar-asen : Anwa-t wagi ? Izmer ad yefk lameṛ i waḍu d lebḥeṛ yerna țțaɣen as awal !
25He said to them, “Where is your faith?” Being afraid they marveled, saying one to another, “Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?”
26Wwḍen ɣer tama nniḍen n lebḥeṛ, ɣer tmurt n ijiṛaziyen iqublen tamurt n Jlili.
26They arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.
27Mi d-yers Sidna Ɛisa, ataya yusa-d ɣuṛ-es yiwen wergaz n taddart nni, melken-t waṭas n leǧnun ; acḥal ur yelsi llebsa, ur yezdiɣ axxam, yețɛici di tmeqbeṛt ger iẓekwan.
27When Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man out of the city who had demons for a long time met him. He wore no clothes, and didn’t live in a house, but in the tombs.
28Mi gwala Sidna Ɛisa, yeɣli ɣer iḍaṛṛen-is iɛeggeḍ yenna : D acu i tebɣiḍ ɣuṛ-i a Ɛisa Mmi-s n Ṛebbi ɛlayen ? Di leɛnaya-k ur iyi-țɛețțib ara.
28When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, “What do I have to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torment me!”
29Yenna-yas-d akka axaṭer Sidna Ɛisa yefka lameṛ i uṛuḥani i t-izedɣen ad iffeɣ seg-s. Acḥal d abrid i s-cudden ifassen d iḍaṛṛen s ssnasel, nețța isseɣṛas-itent yerna aṛuḥani-nni yezzuɣuṛ-it ɣer yimukan yexlan.
29For Jesus was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For the unclean spirit had often seized the man. He was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters. Breaking the bands apart, he was driven by the demon into the desert.
30Sidna Ɛisa isteqsa-t yenna-yas : Isem-ik ? yerra-yas : Tarbaɛt. Yenna-yas-d akka axaṭer aṭas n leǧnun i t-izedɣen.
30Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered into him.
31?ḥellilen Sidna Ɛisa ur ten-ițceggiɛ ara ɣer yimukan n ṭṭlam.
31They begged him that he would not command them to go into the abyss.
32Tella dinna yiwet n tqeḍɛit tameqqrant n yilfan kessen deg yiwet n tiɣilt. Leǧnun-nni țḥellilen Sidna Ɛisa a ten-yeǧǧ ad kecmen deg yilfan-nni ; Sidna Ɛisa iserreḥ-asen.
32Now there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they begged him that he would allow them to enter into those. He allowed them.
33Imiren ffɣen seg wergaz-nni, kecmen deg yilfan, grarben seg ixef n tiɣilt ɣer lebḥeṛ, ɣeṛqen.
33The demons came out from the man, and entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and were drowned.
34Imeksawen-nsen mi walan ayen yedṛan uzzlen ɣer taddart d lexlawi ad ssiwḍen lexbaṛ.
34When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled, and told it in the city and in the country.
35Usan-d lɣaci ɣer Sidna Ɛisa, ufan-d argaz-nni i seg d-ffɣen leǧnun yeqqim ɣer iḍaṛṛen-is, yuɣal-ed ɣer leɛqel-is, yelsa llebsa. Wehmen akk, tekcem-iten tugdi.
35People went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
36Wid iḥedṛen i wayen yedṛan, ḥkan amek yețwasellek umeǧnun-nni.
36Those who saw it told them how he who had been possessed by demons was healed.
37Imezdaɣ n tmurt uggaden, dɣa ssutren i Sidna Ɛisa ad ibɛed fell-asen. Sidna Ɛisa yuli ɣer teflukt iwakken ad iṛuḥ.
37All the people of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were very much afraid. He entered into the boat, and returned.
38Argaz-nni i seg d-ffɣen leǧnun, issuter a t-yeǧǧ ad yeddu yid-es, meɛna Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas :
38But the man from whom the demons had gone out begged him that he might go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,
39Uɣal ɣer wexxam-ik, teḥkuḍ ayen akk i k-ixdem Ṛebbi. Argaz-nni iṛuḥ, ikcem ɣer taddart, yeḥka meṛṛa wayen i s-ixdem Sidna Ɛisa.
39 “Return to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you.” He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
40Mi d-yuɣal Sidna Ɛisa, lɣaci meṛṛa i t-ițṛaǧun mmugren-t-id.
40It happened, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.
41Yewweḍ-ed yiwen wergaz isem-is Jayrus, d ameqqran n lǧameɛ, yeɣli ɣer iḍaṛṛen n Sidna Ɛisa, yețḥellil deg-s iwakken ad iddu ɣer wexxam is
41Behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. He fell down at Jesus’ feet, and begged him to come into his house,
42axaṭer yesɛa yelli-s tnac yiseggasen di leɛmeṛ-is, tețmețțat yerna anagar nețțat i gesɛa. Akken ițeddu Sidna Ɛisa ɣer dinna, ḥeṛsen-t-id lɣaci si mkul lǧiha.
42for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as he went, the multitudes pressed against him.
43Tella dinna yiwet n tmeṭṭut ihelken, tnac iseggasen nețțat tessaq d idammen. Texṣeṛ ayen akk i tesɛa ɣer ṭṭebba, yiwen ur ț-isseḥla.
43A woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any,
44Tekka-d deffir Sidna Ɛisa, teḍleq afus-is, tennul iri n ubeṛnus-is, imiren kan teḥla ḥebsen idammen-nni.
44came behind him, and touched the fringe or, tassel of his cloak, and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.
45Sidna Ɛisa yenṭeq yenna : Anwa akka i yi-d-innulen ? Imi ssusmen meṛṛa, Buṭrus yenna yas : A Sidi, lɣaci yezzi-yak-d yerna iḥṛes-ik-id si mkul tama, kečč teqqaṛeḍ anwa i k-id-innulen !
45Jesus said, “Who touched me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes press and jostle you, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
46Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Yella yiwen i yi-d-innulen axaṭer ḥusseɣ i kra n tezmert teffeɣ seg-i.
46But Jesus said, “Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me.”
47Tameṭṭut-nni imi twala ulamek ara teffer, tusa-d tețțergigi teɣli ɣer yiḍaṛṛen n Sidna Ɛisa, teḥka-d zdat lɣaci meṛṛa acuɣeṛ i t-tennul d wamek teḥla imiren kan si lehlak-is.
47When the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared to him in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas : A yell-i, imi tumneḍ yis-i teḥliḍ ! Ṛuḥ di talwit.
48He said to her, “Daughter, cheer up. Your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
49Mazal-it iheddeṛ, ataya yiwen wergaz yusa-d seg wexxam n Jayṛus, yewwi-yas-d lexbaṛ-agi : Yelli-k temmut ! Ur țɛețțib ara Sidna Ɛisa.
49While he still spoke, one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house came, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Don’t trouble the Teacher.”
50Sidna Ɛisa mi s-yesla i wergaz-nni, yenna i Jayṛus : Ur țțagad ara ! Amen kan, yelli-k aț-țeslek.
50But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”
51Mi gewweḍ ɣer wexxam, ur yeǧǧi yiwen ad ikcem yid-es anagar Buṭrus, Yuḥenna, Yeɛqub akk-d baba-s d yemma-s n teqcict-nni.
51When he came to the house, he didn’t allow anyone to enter in, except Peter, John, James, the father of the child, and her mother.
52Wid yellan dinna țrun akk, țɣerriden ( țmeǧǧiden ) fell-as. Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Beṛka-kkun imeṭṭawen ! taqcict ur temmut ara ! D iḍes i teṭṭes.
52All were weeping and mourning her, but he said, “Don’t weep. She isn’t dead, but sleeping.”
53Nutni ugin a s-d-ḥessen imi ẓran taqcict temmut.
53They were ridiculing him, knowing that she was dead.
54Sidna Ɛisa yeṭṭef-iț-id seg wufus yenna-yas s taɣect ɛlayen : A taqcict, ekker !
54But he put them all outside, and taking her by the hand, he called, saying, “Child, arise!”
55Imiren kan yuɣal-iț-id ṛṛuḥ, tekker-ed. Sidna Ɛisa yumeṛ a s-fken ayen ara tečč.
55Her spirit returned, and she rose up immediately. He commanded that something be given to her to eat.
56Imawlan-is wehmen. Sidna Ɛisa iweṣṣa-ten ur țɛawaden i yiwen ayen yedṛan.
56Her parents were amazed, but he commanded them to tell no one what had been done.
