1Sidna Ɛisa yeṭṭef abrid ɣer tmurt n Yahuda agummaḍ i wasif n Urdun. Nnejmaɛen-d daɣen ɣuṛ-es aṭas n lɣaci. Yebda yesselmad-iten akken yennum.
1He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he was again teaching them.
2Ifariziyen qesden-t-id a t-jeṛṛben. Steqsan-t nnan-as : Yeḥlel i wergaz ad yebru i tmeṭṭut-is neɣ ala ?
2Pharisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”
3Yerra-yasen : Acu n lameṛ i wen-d-yeǧǧa Musa ?
3He answered, “What did Moses command you?”
4Nnan-as : Sidna Musa issereḥ-aɣ a nebru i tmeṭṭut-nneɣ ma nefka-yas leɛqed n berru.
4They said, “Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.”
5Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : ?ef ddemma n wulawen-nwen yeqquṛen i wen-d-yeǧǧa lameṛ-agi.
5But Jesus said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment.
6 Lameɛna di tazwara, Sidi Ṛebbi ixleq-ed argaz ț-țmeṭṭut .
6 But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
7Daymi : Argaz ad yeǧǧ baba-s akk-d yemma-s,iwakken ad iɛic ț-țmeṭṭut-is.
7 For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife,
8 Imiren, di sin yid-sen ad uɣalen d yiwet n lǧețța. S wakka, ur llin ara d sin meɛna ad uɣalen d yiwen.
8 and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9Ihi, ur feṛqet ara wayen yesdukkel Ṛebbi.
9 What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”
10Mi llan deg wexxam, steqsan-t daɣen inelmaden-is ɣef wannect-nni.
10In the house, his disciples asked him again about the same matter.
11Yerra-yasen : Kra win ara yebrun i tmeṭṭut-is yuɣ tayeḍ, ixdeɛ tameṭṭut tamezwarut, yezna.
11He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery against her.
12Akken daɣen, tameṭṭut ara yebrun i wergaz-is aț-țaɣ wayeḍ, tezna.
12 If a woman herself divorces her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.”
13Kra yemdanen wwin-as-d arrac imecṭuḥen iwakken ad yessers ifassen-is fell-asen, meɛna inelmaden țțaran-ten.
13They were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.
14Mi ten-iwala Sidna Ɛisa, yezɛef fell-asen yenna-yasen : Anfet i warrac a d-asen ɣuṛ-i ! Ur ten-țțarrat ara, axaṭer tagelda n Ṛebbi i wid yellan am nutni.
14But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15A wen-iniɣ tideț : kra win ur neqbil ara tagelda n Ṛebbi am weqcic amecṭuḥ, ur ț-ikeččem ara.
15 Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
16Imiren issuden-iten, yessers ifassen-is fell-asen, dɣa iburek-iten.
16He took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
17Akken iteddu Sidna Ɛisa ad iṛuḥ, ataya yiwen ilemẓi yeɣli ɣef tgecrar zdat-es, yenna-yas : A ccix yelhan, d acu ilaqen a t-xedmeɣ iwakken ad sɛuɣ tudert n dayem ?
17As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”
18Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Acuɣeṛ i yi-tsemmaḍ « win yelhan » ? Ulac win yelhan, anagar Ṛebbi weḥd-es.
18Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one—God.
19Tessneḍ ccariɛa n Musa : Ur tneqqeḍ ara, ur tzennuḍ ara, ur tețțakṛeḍ ara, ur tețcehhiḍeḍ ara s ẓẓur, ur txeddɛeḍ ( tețḍuṛuḍ ) ara, aț-țqadṛeḍ baba-k d yemma-k.
19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not give false testimony,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and mother.’”
20Yerra-yas : A Sidi, ayagi akk xedmeɣ-t seg wasmi lliɣ d ameẓyan.
20He said to him, “Teacher, I have observed all these things from my youth.”
21Sidna Ɛisa imuqel-it s leḥnana yenna-yas : Txuṣṣ-ik kan yiwet n lḥaǧa : ṛuḥ, zzenz akk ayen tesɛiḍ, tseddqeḍ-t i imeɣban iwakken aț-țesɛuḍ agerruj deg igenni ; imiren as-ed tbeɛ-iyi-d.
21Jesus looking at him loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”
22Mi gesla ilemẓi-nni i imeslayen n Sidna Ɛisa, yennuɣna. Iṛuḥ s leḥzen axaṭer yesɛa aṭas n cci.
22But his face fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful, for he was one who had great possessions.
23Sidna Ɛisa imuqel wid i s-d-izzin, yenna i inelmaden-is : Acḥal i gewɛeṛ i wid yesɛan cci ad kecmen ɣer tgelda n Sidi Ṛebbi !
23Jesus looked around, and said to his disciples, “How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into the Kingdom of God!”
24Inelmaden-is dehcen mi slan imeslayen-agi. Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen daɣen : Acḥal i gewɛeṛ unekcum ɣer tgelda n Sidi Ṛebbi a tarwa !
24The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answered again, “Children, how hard is it for those who trust in riches to enter into the Kingdom of God!
25Ishel-as i welɣem ad iɛeddi di tiṭ n tissegnit wala i umeṛkanti ad ikcem ɣer tgelda n Sidi Ṛebbi.
25 It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
26Ayagi issewhem inelmaden akteṛ, qqaṛen wway gar-asen : Ihi, anwa i gzemren ad ițțusellek ?
26They were exceedingly astonished, saying to him, “Then who can be saved?”
27Sidna Ɛisa imuqel-iten, yenna yasen : Ayen yellan d lmuḥal i wemdan yeshel i Sidi Ṛebbi, imi Sidi Ṛebbi yezmer i kullec.
27Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
28Buṭrus yenna-yas : Aql-aɣ neǧǧa kullec yerna netbeɛ-ik.
28Peter began to tell him, “Behold, we have left all, and have followed you.”
29Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : A wen-d-iniɣ tideț : win yeǧǧan axxam-is, ayetma-s, yessetma-s, yemma-s, baba-s, arraw-is, tiferkiwin-is ( akal-is ), ɣef ddemma-w akk-d ddemma n ubecceṛ n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ,
29Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News,
30a s-d-yețțunefk meyya iberdan akteṛ di lweqt-agi : ixxamen, atmaten, tiyestmatin, tiyemmatin, dderya akk-d tferkiwin meɛna s waṭas n uqehheṛ ; di lweqt i d-iteddun a s-d-tețțunefk tudert n dayem.
30 but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.
31Aṭas seg imezwura ara yuɣalen d ineggura, aṭas seg ineggura ara yuɣalen d imezwura.
31 But many who are first will be last; and the last first.”
32They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going in front of them, and they were amazed; and those who followed were afraid. He again took the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were going to happen to him.
33Yenna-yasen : Atan a nali ɣer temdint n Lquds, Mmi-s n bunadem ad ițwasellem ger ifassen n lmuqedmin imeqqranen d lɛulama, ad ḥekmen fell-as s lmut, a t-sellmen ger ifassen n ikafriwen.
33 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.
34Ad ḍsen fell-as, a t-ssusfen, a t-wten s ujelkkaḍ, a t-nɣen, m'ara ɛeddin tlata wussan, a d-iḥyu si ger lmegtin.
34 They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”
35Yeɛqub d Yuḥenna yellan d arraw n Zabadi qeṛṛben ɣer Sidna Ɛisa nnan-as : A Sidi, nebɣa a ɣ-txedmeḍ ayen akka ara k-d-nessuter.
35James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”
36Yenna-yasen : D acu tebɣam a wen-t-xedmeɣ ?
36He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”
37Nnan-as : Efk-aɣ imukan di lɛaḍima-k, wa ɣer tama-k tayeffust, wa ɣer tama-k taẓelmaṭ.
37They said to him, “Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand, and one at your left hand, in your glory.”
38Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Ur teẓrim ara ayen akka i yi-d tessuturem. Eɛni tzemrem aț-țeswem lkas-agi n lemṛaṛ ara sweɣ ? Neɣ tzemrem a d-tɛeddim seg weɣḍas-agi s wayes ara țwaɣeḍseɣ ?
38But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”
39Nnan-as : Ih a Sidi, nezmer. Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : ?-țideț, aț-țeswem lkas-agi n lemṛaṛ ara sweɣ, yernu aț-țɛeddim seg weɣḍas s wayes ara țwaɣeḍseɣ.
39They said to him, “We are able.” Jesus said to them, “You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;
40Ma yella d ayen yeɛnan imukan ɣer uyeffus-iw neɣ ɣer uzelmaḍ-iw, mačči deg ufus-iw i gella, meɛna ad țțunefken i wid iwumi țwaheggan.
40 but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared.”
41Mi slan i waya, ɛecṛa n inelmaden nniḍen rfan ɣef Yeɛqub akk-d Yuḥenna.
41When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant towards James and John.
42Sidna Ɛisa yessawel asen yenna-yasen : Twalam ayen iḍeṛṛun di ddunit : wid nețwali d igelliden akk-d d imeqqranen n yegduden țqehhiṛen lɣaci-nsen yerna ḥekkmen fell-asen s ẓẓur !
42Jesus summoned them, and said to them, “You know that they who are recognized as rulers over the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
43Ur ilaq ara ad yili wannect-a gar-awen. Meɛna win yebɣan ad yili d ameqqran gar-awen ilaq ad yuɣal d aqeddac-nwen.
43 But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.
44Win yebɣan daɣen amkan amezwaru, ilaq ad yili d aqeddac-nwen meṛṛa.
44 Whoever of you wants to become first among you, shall be bondservant of all.
45Axaṭer Mmi-s n bunadem ur d-yusi ara iwakken ad qedcen fell-as wiyaḍ, meɛna d nețța ara iqedcen fell-asen, yerna ad yefk tudert-is d asfel ɣef waṭas n yemdanen.
45 For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
46Sidna Ɛisa akk-d inelmaden-is wḍen ɣer temdint n Yiriku. Mi d-ffɣen si temdint, ddan-d yid-sen aṭas n lɣaci. Ataya yiwen uderɣal isem-is Baṛtimay mmi-s n Timay, yeqqim ṭṭerf n webrid yessutur tin n Ṛebbi.
46They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.
47Mi gesla belli d Ɛisa anaṣari i d-iɛeddan, yebda yețɛeggiḍ yeqqaṛ : A Ɛisa, a Mmi-s n Sidna Dawed, ḥunn fell-i !
47When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
48Aṭas i gețɛeggiḍen fell-as iwakken ad issusem, meɛna nețța yețsuɣu akteṛ yeqqaṛ : A mmi-s n Sidna Dawed, ḥunn fell-i !
48Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
49Sidna Ɛisa iḥbes yenna : Siwlet-as. Ssawlen-as, nnan-as : Ur țțaggad ara, kker fell-ak, atan yessawel-ak-ed.
49Jesus stood still, and said, “Call him.” They called the blind man, saying to him, “Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!”
50Aderɣal-nni iḍeggeṛ abeṛnus-is, ijelleb-ed, yusa-d ɣer Sidna Ɛisa.
50He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
51Sidna Ɛisa yenṭeq ɣuṛ-es yenna-yas : D acu tebɣiḍ a k-t-xedmeɣ ? Aderɣal-nni yenna-yas : A Sidi, bɣiɣ a yi-d-yuɣal yeẓri.
51Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may see again.”
52Dɣa Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas : Ṛuḥ, liman-ik isellek-ik. Imiren kan, yuɣal-it-id yeẓri, yetḍfer Sidna Ɛisa deg webrid.
52Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
