1Sidna Ɛisa yenna daɣen : -- S tideț a wen-d-iniɣ, kra seg wid yellan dagi, ur țmețțaten ara alamma walan tagelda n Ṛebbi tusa-d s tmanegt tameqqrant.
1He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power.”
2Mi ɛeddan sețța wussan, Sidna Ɛisa yewwi yid-es Buṭrus, Yeɛqub d Yuḥenna, ulin ɣer yiwen wedrar ɛlayen. Mi llan dinna weḥḥed-sen, tenbeddal ṣṣifa-s zdat-sen,
2After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.
3llebsa-s tuɣal ț-țamellalt tețfeǧǧiǧ, ula d yiwen di ddunit ur izmir a ten yessimlul akken.
3His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.
4?ehṛen-asen-d nnbi Ilyas akk-d Sidna Musa, țmeslayen d Sidna Ɛisa.
4Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.
5Yenṭeq Buṭrus yenna i Sidna Ɛisa : A Sidi, yelha imi nella dagi. A nesbedd tlata iqiḍunen ; yiwen i kečč, wayeḍ i Sidna Musa wayeḍ i Sidna Ilyas.
5Peter answered Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
6Ur yeẓri d acu i d-yeqqaṛ axaṭer tekcem-iten lxelɛa ț-țameqqrant.
6For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid.
7Taswiɛt kan ters-ed yiwet n tagut tɣumm-iten, si tagut-nni tenṭeq-ed yiwet n taɣect tenna-d : Wagi d Mmi ameɛzuz, smeḥsiset as !
7A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”
8Imiren kan, inelmaden muqlen ɣer mkul tama, ur walan ula d yiwen, anagar Sidna Ɛisa yellan yid-sen.
8Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only.
9Mi d-ṣubben seg udrar, Sidna Ɛisa iweṣṣa-ten : Ur ḥekkut i yiwen ayen teẓram, alamma yeḥya-d Mmi-s n bunadem si ger lmegtin.
9As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
10Uɣen-as awal, d acu kan țemsteqsayen, qqaṛen : Acu i d lmeɛna n ḥeggu si ger lmegtin ?
10They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.
11Inelmaden steqsan-t nnan-as : Acuɣer lɛulama n ccariɛa qqaṛen-d : ilaq a d-yas uqbel Sidna Ilyas ?
11They asked him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
12Yerra-yasen : ?-țideț, a d-yas uqbel Ilyas, iwakken ad iseggem kullec. lameɛna acuɣer yețwakteb ɣef Mmi-s n bunadem belli ilaq ad yenɛețțab aṭas yerna ad yețwaqehheṛ ?
12He said to them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?
13Aql-i nniɣ-awen : Ilyas yusa-d, xedmen deg-s akken bɣan, am akken yețwakteb fell-as di tira iqedsen.
13 But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him.”
14Mi d-ṣubben seg udrar, ufan-d lɣaci akk-d lɛulama n ccariɛa zzin i inelmaden nniḍen, țmeslayen yid-sen.
14Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and scribes questioning them.
15Mi d-walan Sidna Ɛisa, dehcen, uzzlen ad selmen fell-as.
15Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.
16Sidna Ɛisa yesteqsa-ten : ?ef wacu i tețmeslayem akka yid-sen ?
16He asked the scribes, “What are you asking them?”
17Yiwen wergaz si lɣaci-nni yerra-yas-d : A Sidi, wwiɣ-ak-d mmi axaṭer yesgugem-it uṛuḥani.
17One of the multitude answered, “Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;
18Kra wanda ara t-yeṭṭef, yesseɣlay-it ɣer lqaɛa ; aqcic yessufuɣ-ed tikufta, yețqeṛṛic tuɣmas, yețțuɣal d asemmaḍ. ?elleleɣ inelmaden-ik a t-ssufɣen seg-s meɛna ur zmiren ara.
18and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.”
19Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : A lǧil i gxuṣṣ liman ! Ar melmi ara yiliɣ yid-wen ? Ar melmi ara wen-ṣebṛeɣ ? Awit-ed aqcic-agi ! Wwin-as-t-id ;
19He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”
20akken kan iwala Sidna Ɛisa, aṛuḥani-nni yebda yețhuccu aqcic-nni, yesseɣli-t ɣer lqaɛa yessemṛareɣ-it armi i s-d yessufeɣ tikufta.
20They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.
21Sidna Ɛisa yesteqsa baba-s n weqcic-nni yenna-yas : Si melmi i d-ideṛṛu yid-es wayagi ? Yerra-yas-d : Seg wasmi yella d amecṭuḥ.
21He asked his father, “How long has it been since this has come to him?” He said, “From childhood.
22Acḥal d abrid i t-idemmer uṛuḥani-agi ɣer tmes d waman iwakken a t-ineɣ. Tura, ma yella wayen iwumi tzemreḍ, ḥunn fell-aɣ, ɛiwen-aɣ !
22Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.”
23Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Teqqaṛeḍ : ma tzemreḍ... ? Win yețțamnen yezmer i kullec !
23Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
24Imiren kan, baba-s n weqcic-nni yenna : Umneɣ ! Meɛna sseǧhed-iyi axaṭer xuṣṣeɣ di liman.
24Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, “I believe. Help my unbelief!”
25Sidna Ɛisa mi gwala lɣaci uzzlen-d ɣuṛ-sen, yumeṛ i uṛuḥani-nni, yenna-yas : Ay aṛuḥani ! yesgugumen yesɛuẓẓugen, effeɣ seg weqcic-agi ur țɛawad ara aț-țkecmeḍ deg-s !
25When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
26Imiren iɛeggeḍ, ihucc-it nezzeh, dɣa yeffeɣ seg-s. Aqcic-nni yuɣal am lmegget, daymi aṭas i s-yeqqaṛen : « yemmut. »
26Having cried out, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”
27Meɛna Sidna Ɛisa yeṭṭef-as afus, isekker-it-id, ibedd.
27But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.
28Mi kecmen ɣer wexxam, inelmaden-is steqsan-t : Acuɣer ur nezmir ara nukni a nessufeɣ aṛuḥani-nni ?
28When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”
29Yenna-yasen : Iwakken aț-țessufɣem iṛuḥaniyen am wigi, ilaq aț-țețțuẓumem yerna aț-țețẓallam.
29He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.”
30Ṛuḥen syenna, zegren tamurt n Jlili. Sidna Ɛisa ur yebɣi ara ad ẓren lɣaci anda i gella,
30They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn’t want anyone to know it.
31axaṭer yesselmad inelmaden-is, yenna-yasen : Mmi-s n bunadem ad ițțusellem ger ifassen n yemdanen, a t-nɣen, meɛna tlata wussan mbeɛd lmut-is a d-iḥyu.
31For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”
32Inelmaden-is ur fhimen ara lmeɛna n wawal-agi, yerna kukran a t-steqsin.
32But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
33Mi ewwḍen ɣer temdint n Kafernaḥum. llan deg wexxam, Sidna Ɛisa yesteqsa-ten : ?ef wacu i tețmeslayem deg webrid ?
33He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?”
34Lameɛna ssusmen akken ma llan, axaṭer deg webrid țmesteqsayen anwa i d ameqqran gar-asen.
34But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.
35Sidna Ɛisa yeqqim, yessawel i tnac-nni inelmaden-is, yenna-yasen : Win yebɣan ad yili d amezwaru, ilaq ad yeqqim d aneggaru, ad yuɣal d aqeddac i mkul yiwen.
35He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
36Yeddem-ed yiwen weqcic amecṭuḥ, yesbedd-it zdat-sen dɣa yerfed-it ger ifassen-is, yenna-yasen :
36He took a little child, and set him in their midst. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,
37Win iqeblen aqcic amecṭuḥ am wagi ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw, d nekk i geqbel, win i yi-qeblen mačči d nekk i geqbel lameɛna yeqbel Win i yi-d iceggɛen.
37 “Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, doesn’t receive me, but him who sent me.”
38Yuḥenna yenna i Sidna Ɛisa : A Sidi, nwala yiwen wergaz yessufuɣ leǧnun s yisem-ik ; nugi-yas imi ur iteddu ara yid-nneɣ.
38John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone who doesn’t follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow us.”
39Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Aneft-as, imi ulac win izemren ad ixdem lbeṛhan s yisem-iw, imiren ad yehdeṛ ayen n diri fell-i.
39But Jesus said, “Don’t forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.
40Win ur nelli ara d aɛdaw-nneɣ, yid-nneɣ i gella.
40 For whoever is not against us is on our side.
41Kra win ara wen-d-yefken lkas n waman imi d inelmaden n Lmasiḥ i tellam, a wen-iniɣ s tideț, lxiṛ-is ur s-yețwankaṛ ara .
41 For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.
42Win ara yilin d sebba n tuccḍa i yiwen seg imecṭuḥen-agi yumnen yis-i, axiṛ-as a s-ɛelqen ɣer temgeṛṭ aɣaṛef n tsirt, a t-ḍeggṛen ɣer lebḥeṛ.
42 Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.
43Ma yella d afus-ik i d sebba n tuccḍa, gzem-it ; axiṛ-ak aț-țkecmeḍ ɣer tudert n dayem s yiwen ufus wala aț-țkecmeḍ s sin ifassen ɣer ǧahennama, aț-țețwaḍeggreḍ ɣer tmes ur nxețți.
43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, or, Hell into the unquenchable fire,
44[Dinna awekkiw itețțen lǧețțat ur yețmețțat ara, times ur txețți ara maḍi.]
44 ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’
45Ma yella d aḍaṛ-ik i d sebba n tuccḍa, gzem-it ;axiṛ-ak aț-țkecmeḍ ɣer tudert n dayem s yiwen uḍar wala aț-țkecmeḍ s sin iḍaṛṛen ɣer ǧahennama, aț-țețwaḍeggreḍ ɣer tmes ur nxețți.
45 If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, or, Hell into the fire that will never be quenched—
46[Dinna awekkiw itețțen lǧețțat ur yețmețțat ara, times ur txețți ara maḍi.]
46 ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’
47Daɣen ma yella ț-țiṭ-ik i gellan d sebba n tuccḍa, qleɛ-iț-id ; axiṛ-ak aț-țkecmeḍ ɣer tgelda n Sidi Ṛebbi s yiwet n tiṭ, wala aț-țwaḍeggṛeḍ s snat wallen ɣer ǧahennama.
47 If your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna or, Hell of fire,
48Dinna awekkiw itețțen lǧețțat ur yețmețțat ara, times ur txețți ara maḍi.
48 ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’ Isaiah 66:24
49Axaṭer mkul amdan ilaq ad yețwamelleḥ s tmes.
49 For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
50Lmelḥ, d ayen yelhan ; meɛna ma tṛuḥ-as lbenna-s, s wacu ara t-tmellḥem ?
50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
51Sɛut lmelḥ deg yiman-nwen, tɛicem wway gar-awen di lehna.
