1Yiwet n tikkelt, deg wass n ssebt yellan d ass n westeɛfu, Sidna Ɛisa izger igran n yirden. Inelmaden-is lluẓen, bdan țekksen-d tigedrin, tețțen-tent.
1At that time, Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the grain fields. His disciples were hungry and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat.
2Ifariziyen mi ten-walan, nnan i Sidna Ɛisa : Acuɣeṛ inelmaden-ik xeddmen ayen iḥeṛmen deg wass n westeɛfu ?
2But the Pharisees, when they saw it, said to him, “Behold, your disciples do what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.”
3Meɛna Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Eɛni ur teɣṛim ara wayen yexdem ugellid Dawed, mi gelluẓ nețța d wid yellan yid-es ?
3But he said to them, “Haven’t you read what David did, when he was hungry, and those who were with him;
4Mi gekcem ɣer wexxam iqedsen, yečča seg weɣṛum-nni yețțunefken d lweɛda i lmuqedmin yerna yefka seg-s i imdukkal-is !
4 how he entered into God’s house, and ate the show bread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for those who were with him, but only for the priests?
5Eɛni ur teɣṛim ara di tektabt n ccariɛa n Musa belli lmuqedmin xeddmen ɣas akken d ass n westeɛfu yerna mačči d leḥṛam fell-asen ?
5 Or have you not read in the law, that on the Sabbath day, the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are guiltless?
6Ihi a wen-d-iniɣ : yella dagi win yugaren axxam iqedsen.
6 But I tell you that one greater than the temple is here.
7Lemmer tfehmem d acu i d lmeɛna n wawal-agi : D ulawen yesɛan ṛṛeḥma i bɣiɣ mačči d isflawen n lmal ttili ur tḥekkmem ara s lmut ɣef wid ur neḍlim ara !
7 But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless.
8Axaṭer Mmi-s n bunadem, d nețța i gḥekmen ɣef wass n westeɛfu.
8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
9Syenna, yerra ɣer yiwen n lǧameɛ,
9He departed there, and went into their synagogue.
10yella dinna yiwen wergaz iwumi yekref ufus. Ifariziyen steqsan-t nnan-as : Eɛni iḥlel useḥlu deg wass n westeɛfu ? SSteqsan-t akka, iwakken a s-d-afen sebba s wayes ara t-sḍelmen.
10And behold there was a man with a withered hand. They asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?” that they might accuse him.
11Yerra-yasen : Anwa deg-wen yesɛan yiwet n tixsi kan, ma yella teɣli ɣer tesraft deg wass n westeɛfu ur ț-id-issalay ara ?
11He said to them, “What man is there among you, who has one sheep, and if this one falls into a pit on the Sabbath day, won’t he grab on to it, and lift it out?
12Eɛni tixsi teswa akteṛ n wemdan ? Ihi, yeḥlel a nexdem lxiṛ deg wass n westeɛfu !
12 Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.”
13Imiren Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas i wergaz-nni : Sleq-ed afus-ik ! YYeḍleq afus-is, dɣa yuɣal iṣeḥḥa am ufus nniḍen.
13Then he told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out; and it was restored whole, just like the other.
14Ifariziyen ffɣen, ṛuḥen mcawaṛen wway gar-asen amek ara a s-d-afen sebba s wayes ara t-nɣen.
14But the Pharisees went out, and conspired against him, how they might destroy him.
15Mi gesla bɣan a t-nɣen, Sidna Ɛisa iṛuḥ syenna. Aṭas i geddan yid-es, yesseḥlay imuḍan meṛṛa,
15Jesus, perceiving that, withdrew from there. Great multitudes followed him; and he healed them all,
16iqqaṛ-asen : Ɣuṛ-wat aț-țessufɣem lexbaṛ !
16and commanded them that they should not make him known:
17Iwakken ad idṛu wayen yenna nnbi Iceɛya :
17that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
18Ataya uqeddac-iw i xtaṛeɣ, win eɛzizen fell-i, deg-s i gella lfeṛḥ-iw. A d-yers Ṛṛuḥ-iw fell-as, ad ibecceṛ lḥeqq i leǧnas.
18“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the nations.
19Ur iskkaray ara ccwal, ur ițɛeggiḍ ara, ur ițḥettim ara iman-is ɣef wiyaḍ.
19He will not strive, nor shout; neither will anyone hear his voice in the streets.
20Ur ițkemmil ara i uɣanim iceqqeqen, ur isnusuy ara taftilt yețmețțaten, alamma yesbedd lḥeqq.
20He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoking flax, until he leads justice to victory.
21Imiren leǧnas meṛṛa ad ssirmen ɣuṛ-es, fell-as ara țeklen.
21In his name, the nations will hope.”
22Wwin-d i Sidna Ɛisa yiwen wergaz i gesgugem, i gesderɣel uṛuḥani. Yesseḥla-t, yuɣal wergaz-nni iheddeṛ, yețwali.
22Then one possessed by a demon, blind and mute, was brought to him and he healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.
23Lɣaci meṛṛa wehmen di Sidna Ɛisa qqaṛen : Mačči d wagi i d mmi-s n Sidna Dawed, win akken ara d-yasen ?
23All the multitudes were amazed, and said, “Can this be the son of David?”
24Mi sen-slan ifariziyen nnan : Argaz-agi yessufuɣ leǧnun s tezmert n Balzabul iḥekkmen ɣef leǧnun.
24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”
25Sidna Ɛisa yeẓran ayen i țxemmimen, yenna-yasen : Yal tagelda anda țnaɣen lɣaci wway gar-asen, aț-țuɣal aț-țenger. YYal taddart neɣ yal axxam i deg țnaɣen imezdaɣ wway gar-asen, ur d-yețɣimi ara.
25Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
26Ma yella Cciṭan issufuɣ Cciṭan, atan yebḍa d yiman-is ! Amek ihi ara d-tdum ddewla-s ?
26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?
27Ma yella nekkini ssufuɣeɣ leǧnun s tezmert n Balzabul, i warraw nwen s wacu i ten ssufuɣen ? Daymi, d arraw-nwen ara kkun-iḥasben !
27 If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.
28Meɛna ma yella nekkini s Ṛṛuḥ n Ṛebbi i ssufuɣeɣ leǧnun, ihi tagelda n Ṛebbi ațan tewweḍ-ed armi d ɣuṛ-wen.
28 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.
29Yiwen ur yezmir ad ikcem ɣer wexxam n wergaz iǧehden iwakken a s-iddem ayla-as ma yella ur t-yuriz ara uqbel, meɛna m'ara t-yarez, imiren ad yizmir ad iddem ayen akk yellan deg wexxam-is.
29 Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.
30Win ur nelli ara yid-i, ixulef-iyi ; win ur d-njemmeɛ ara yid-i ițḍeggiɛ !
30 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who doesn’t gather with me, scatters.
31Daymi i wen-qqaṛeɣ : Mkul ddnub d mkul rregmat zemren ad țwasemmḥen i yemdanen, ma d rregmat ɣef Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen ur țwasemmaḥent ara !
31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
32Yal win ara iregmen di Mmi-s n bunadem, a s-ițwasameḥ, ma d win ara iregmen Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen, ur s-ițwasamaḥ ara ama di lweqt-agi, ama di lweqt i d-iteddun.
32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come.
33Ɛeqlet ttejṛa ɣer lfakya-s : ma telha ttejṛa, a d-tefk lfakya yelhan, ma yella diri-ț, a d-tefk lfakya n diri !
33 “Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.
34A ccetla n izerman, amek ara d-tinim ayen yelhan ma yella kunwi diri-kkun ? Axaṭer d ayen yellan deg ul i d-ițeffɣen seg imi !
34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
35Argaz lɛali yessufuɣ-ed ayen yelhan seg ugerruj yellan deg ul-is ma d amcum yessufuɣ-ed ayen n diri si lexzin n diri yellan deg ul-is !
35 The good man out of his good treasure brings out good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings out evil things.
36Aql-i nniɣ-awen-t : ass n lḥisab, ad țțuḥasben yemdanen ɣef yal awal ur nesɛi lmeɛna i d-iffɣen seg yimi-nsen ;
36 I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
37axaṭer ɣef leḥsab n imeslayen-ik ara tețțuḥasbeḍ, d imeslayen-ik ara d-isbeggnen ma d aḥeqqi i telliḍ neɣ d amcum.
37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
38Dɣa kra n lɛulama n ccariɛa akk-d ifariziyen nnan i Sidna Ɛisa : A Sidi, nebɣa a k-nwali txedmeḍ yiwen n lbeṛhan.
38Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
39Sidna Ɛisa yerra yasen : Lǧil am-agi ijehlen ixedɛen Ṛebbi, yessutur lbeṛhan, ur a sen d-yețțunefkay ara lbeṛhan nniḍen anagar win n nnbi Yunes.
39But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet.
40Axaṭer akken yesɛedda nnbi Yunes tlata wussan d tlata wuḍan deg uɛebbuḍ n uḥewtiw ameqqran di lebḥeṛ, akken daɣen ara yesɛeddi Mmi-s n bunadem tlata wussan d tlata wuḍan zdaxel n wakal.
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41Ass n lḥisab, imezdaɣ n temdint n Ninebi a d-kkren ɣer yemdanen n lǧil-agi ad ccetkin fell-asen iwakken ad țțuḥasben, axaṭer nutni uɣalen-d ɣer webrid mi slan i ubecceṛ n nnbi Yunes. AA wen-d-iniɣ : atan yella dagi win yugaren nnbi Yunes !
41 The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, someone greater than Jonah is here.
42Ass n lḥisab, tagellit n tmurt n Ḥabac a d-tekker ɣer yemdanen n lǧil-agi aț-țeccetki fell-asen iwakken ad țțuḥasben, axaṭer tusa-d seg yixef n ddunit iwakken aț-țsel i tmusni n ugellid Sliman. AAtan nniɣ-awen yella dagi win yugaren agellid Sliman !
42 The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, someone greater than Solomon is here.
43M'ara yețwaqecceɛ uṛuḥani seg yiwen wemdan, ad ițezzi deg imukan yexlan, ad ițqellib anda ara yaf ṛṛaḥa ur yețțaf ara.
43 But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of the man, passes through waterless places, seeking rest, and doesn’t find it.
44Dɣa ad yini : Ad uɣaleɣ ɣer umkan ansi i d-ffɣeɣ ! MMi guɣal ɣer wemdan-nni, ad yaf amkan d ilem, zeddig yerna iseggem.
44 Then he says, ‘I will return into my house from which I came out,’ and when he has come back, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.
45Imiren ad iṛuḥ a d-yawi sebɛa iṛuḥaniyen nniḍen i gweɛṛen akteṛ-is, ad kecmen ɣer dinna, ad zedɣen. Lḥala n wergaz-nni aț-țenṭaṛ akteṛ n tikkelt tamezwarut. Akka ara tedṛu d lǧil-agi ijehlen.
45 Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than he is, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Even so will it be also to this evil generation.”
46Mazal Sidna Ɛisa yețmeslay i lɣaci, mi d-yusa yiwen wergaz yenna-yas : Yemma-k d watmaten-ik atnan di beṛṛa, bɣan a k-ẓren.
46While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, seeking to speak to him.
48Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Anta i d yemma, anwi i d atmaten-iw ?
47One said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers stand outside, seeking to speak to you.”
49Iwehha s ufus-is ɣer inelmaden is yenna : D wigi i d yemma d watmaten-iw !
48But he answered him who spoke to him, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?”
50Axaṭer win ixeddmen lebɣi n Baba yellan deg igenwan, d winna i d gma, i d weltma, i d yemma.
49He stretched out his hand towards his disciples, and said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!
50 For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.”
