¹ខ្ញុំ ប៉ូល ជាអ្នកបំរើរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង ជាសាវ័ករបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ ។ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយនាំអស់អ្នកដែលព្រះអង្គបានជ្រើសរើសអោយមានជំនឿ និង ស្គាល់ច្បាស់នូវសេចក្ដីពិត ដែលជាគ្រឹះនៃការគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះអង្គ។

¹Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s chosen ones, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

²អ្នកទាំងនោះសង្ឃឹមថានឹងទទួលជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានសន្យា តាំងពីមុនកាលសម័យទាំងអស់ ព្រះអង្គមិនកុហកទេ។

²in hope of eternal life, which God, who can’t lie, promised before time began;

³នៅពេលកំណត់ ព្រះអង្គបានសំដែងព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គ ហើយប្រគល់ព្រះបន្ទូលនេះមកអោយខ្ញុំប្រកាស តាមបញ្ជារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ជាព្រះសង្គ្រោះរបស់យើង។

³but in his own time revealed his word in the message with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

⁴មកដល់ទីតុស ជាកូនដ៏ពិតប្រាកដ ខាងជំនឿដែលយើងមានរួមគ្នា។ សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ជាព្រះបិតា និង ព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូជាព្រះសង្គ្រោះនៃយើង ប្រទានអោយអ្នកបានប្រកបដោយព្រះគុណ និង សេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដ។

⁴to Titus, my true child according to a common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

⁵ខ្ញុំបានទុកអ្នកអោយនៅកោះក្រែត ដើម្បីចាត់ចែងកិច្ចការដែលនៅសល់ អោយមានរបៀបរៀបរយ និង តែងតាំងព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យ នៅតាមក្រុងនីមួយៗដូចខ្ញុំបានផ្ដាំរួចហើយ

⁵I left you in Crete for this reason, that you would set in order the things that were lacking, and appoint elders in every city, as I directed you;

⁶គឺត្រូវយកអ្នកណាដែលឥតមានកំហុស មានភរិយាតែមួយមានកូនចៅជាអ្នកជឿ ហើយគ្មាននរណាចោទប្រកាន់ថា ជាកូនខិលខូចមិនចេះស្ដាប់បង្គាប់។

⁶if anyone is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, who are not accused of loose or unruly behavior.

⁷ក្នុងឋានៈជាអ្នកមើលខុសត្រូវលើកិច្ចការរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ អ្នកអភិបាល ត្រូវតែឥតកំហុសមិនក្រអឺតក្រទមមិនឆាប់ខឹងមិនចំណូលស្រាមិនចេះឈ្លោះប្រកែកឬរកប្រាក់តាមរបៀបថោកទាបនោះឡើយ។

⁷For the overseer must be blameless, as God’s steward; not self-pleasing, not easily angered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for dishonest gain;

⁸ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ គាត់ត្រូវចេះទទួលភ្ញៀវ ស្រឡាញ់អំពើល្អ មានចិត្ដធ្ងន់សុចរិតចិត្ដបរិសុទ្ធ ចេះទប់ចិត្ដ

⁸but given to hospitality, a lover of good, sober minded, fair, holy, self-controlled;

⁹ជាប់ចិត្ដនឹងព្រះបន្ទូលជាគ្រឹះនៃជំនឿ ស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលគេបានរៀន ដើម្បីអោយមានសមត្ថភាព ដាស់តឿនអ្នកដទៃតាមសេចក្ដីបង្រៀនដ៏ត្រឹមត្រូវ ព្រមទាំងចេះរកខុសត្រូវតបតនឹងពួកអ្នកប្រឆាំងផង។

⁹holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict those who contradict him.

¹⁰មានមនុស្សជាច្រើន ជាពិសេស ក្នុងចំណោមសាសន៍យូដា ដែលជាអ្នកជឿមានចិត្ដរឹងរូស ព្រោកប្រាជ្ញឥតបានការ និង បោកប្រាសគេទៀតផង។

¹⁰For there are also many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

¹¹ត្រូវបំបិទមាត់អ្នកទាំងនោះដ្បិតពួកគេបានធ្វើអោយកើតវឹកវរ ក្នុងក្រុមគ្រួសារជាច្រើនដោយបង្រៀនអំពីសេចក្ដីដែលមិនត្រូវបង្រៀន ដើម្បីបោកយកប្រាក់យ៉ាងថោកទាប។

¹¹whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for dishonest gain’s sake.

¹²មានម្នាក់ក្នុងចំណោមពួកគេដែលជាព្យាការី របស់គេផ្ទាល់ពោលថាៈ «អ្នកស្រុកក្រែតសុទ្ធតែជាមេកុហកជាសត្វតិរច្ឆានដ៏សាហាវ និង ជាមេកំជិល ដែលគិតតែពីស៊ីផឹក!»។

¹²One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, and idle gluttons.”

¹³ពាក្យនេះពិតណាស់! ដូច្នេះ ត្រូវស្ដីបន្ទោសគេយ៉ាងតឹងរ៉ឹង ដើម្បីអោយគេមានជំនឿត្រឹមត្រូវ

¹³This testimony is true. For this cause, reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

¹⁴កុំអោយជាប់ចិត្ដនឹងរឿងព្រេងរបស់សាសន៍យូដា និង ជាប់ចិត្ដទៅលើបទបញ្ជាផ្សេងៗរបស់ ពួកអ្នកដែលបានងាកចេញពីសេចក្ដីពិតបានតែងនោះឡើយ។

¹⁴not paying attention to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.

¹⁵ចំពោះអ្នកដែលមានចិត្ដបរិសុទ្ធអ្វីៗទាំងអស់សុទ្ធតែបរិសុទ្ធ រីឯអ្នកដែលមានចិត្ដសៅហ្មង និង មិនជឿអ្វីៗទាំងអស់សុទ្ធតែមិនបរិសុទ្ធ ព្រោះប្រាជ្ញា និង មនសិការរបស់គេសុទ្ធតែសៅហ្មង។

¹⁵To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

¹⁶គេប្រកាសថាខ្លួនស្គាល់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ហើយ ប៉ុន្ដែ តាមអំពើដែលគេប្រព្រឹត្ដគេបែរជាបដិសេធមិនទទួលស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គទៅវិញ។ អ្នកទាំងនោះសុទ្ធតែជាមនុស្សគួរអោយស្អប់ខ្ពើម ជាមនុស្សរឹងទទឹងហើយពុំអាចប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អបានឡើយ។

¹⁶They profess that they know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.
