¹And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

²Hianao, ry zanak'olona, manaova hira fahalahelovana ny amin'i Tyro,

²`And thou, son of man, lift up concerning Tyre a lamentation, and thou hast said to Tyre:

³ka ataovy aminy hoe: He, ry ilay monina amin'ny vava-ranomasina, Mpandranto ho an'ny firenena ho any ny moron-dranomasina maro samy hafa; Izao no lazain'i Jehovah Tompo: He, ry Tyro, ianao efa nanao hoe: Izaho dia tena tsara tarehy!

³O dweller on the entrances of the sea, Merchant of the peoples unto many isles, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou — thou hast said: I [am] the perfection of beauty.

⁴Ao amin'ny ranomasina ny taninao, efa tanteraky ny mpandrafitra anao ny hatsaran-tarehinao.

⁴In the heart of the seas [are] thy borders, Thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

⁵Hazo kypreso avy any Senira no nanaovany ny lampihazonao; Sedera avy any Libanona no nalainy hatao andrin-tsambonao.

⁵Of firs of Senir they have built to thee all thy double-boarded ships, Of cedars of Lebanon they have taken to make a mast for thee,

⁶Oka avy any Basana no nanaovany ny fivoinao; hazo bokso avy any amin'ny moron-dranomasin'i Kitima no nataony fipetrahan'ny mpivoinao sady nasiany parike ivory.

⁶Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars, Thy bench they have made of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from isles of Chittim.

⁷Rongony madinika samy hafa soratra avy any Egypta no natao lainao mba ho faneva ho anao; Lamba manga sy volomparasy avy any amin'ny moron-dranomasin'i Elisa no eloelonao.

⁷Of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt hath been thy sail, To be to thee for an ensign, Of blue and purple from isles of Elishah hath been thy covering.

⁸Ny mponina any Sidona sy Arvada no mpivoinao; Ny olon-kendrinao, ry Tyro, no tao aminao, ka ireo no mpitondra sambonao.

⁸Inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad have been rowers to thee, Thy wise men, O Tyre, have been in thee, They [are] thy pilots.

⁹Ny zokiolon'i Gebala sy izay hendry tany no tao aminao ho mpanentsin-tsambonao; ny sambo rehetra teny amin'ny ranomasina mbamin'ny matilony dia tonga tao aminao hanakalo ny rantonao.

⁹Elders of Gebal and its wise men have been in thee, Strengthening thy breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in thee, to trade [with] thy merchandise.

¹⁰Ny avy any Persia sy ny Lydiana ary ny Libyana dia isan'ny miaramila mpiadinao; Nanantona ampinga sy fiarovan-doha teny aminao ireo ka nahatsara tarehy anao.[Heb. Loda][Heb. Pota]

¹⁰Persian and Lud and Phut Have been in thy forces — thy men of war. Shield and helmet they hung up in thee, They — they have given out thine honour.

¹¹Ny terak'i Arvada sy ny miaramilanao no teny ambonin'ny mandanao manodidina, ary lehilahy mahery no tao amin'ny tilikambonao; Ny ampingany dia nahantony teny amin'ny mandanao manodidina; Ireo no nahatanteraka ny hatsaran-tarehinao.

¹¹The sons of Arvad, and thy force, [Are] on thy walls round about, And short swordsmen in thy towers have been, Their shields they have hung up on thy walls round about, They — they have perfected thy beauty.

¹²Tarsisy no mpandranto nankany aminao noho ny haben'ny harena samy hafa rehetra; Volafotsy sy vy sy vifotsy ary firaka na nentiny natakalo ny entanao.

¹²Tarshish [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For silver, iron, tin, and lead, They have given out thy remnants.

¹³Javana sy Tobala ary Maseka no mpandranto nankany aminao, ka olona sy fanaka varahina no natakalony ny varotrao.

¹³Javan, Tubal, and Meshech — they [are] thy merchants, For persons of men, and vessels of brass, They have given out thy merchandise.

¹⁴Ny terak'i Togarma nitondra soavaly sy soavaly fitaingina ary ampondra natakalo ny entanao.

¹⁴They of the house of Togarmah, [For] horses, and riding steeds, and mules, They have given out thy remnants.

¹⁵Ny terak'i Dedana no mpandranto nankany aminao; Ny avy amin'ny moron-dranomasina maro no tonga hivarotra tao aminao ka nitondra ivory sy hazomainty natakalo ny entanao.[Heb. vangy ivory]

¹⁵Sons of Dedan [are] thy merchants, Many isles [are] the mart of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony they sent back thy reward.

¹⁶Syria no mpandranto nankany aminao noho ny habetsahan'ny tao-zavatrao, ka karbonkolo sy lamba volomparasy sy tenona samy hafa soratra sy rongony fotsy madinika sy voahangy ary robina No nentiny natakalo ny entanao.

¹⁶Aram [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of thy works, For emerald, purple, and embroidery, And fine linen, and coral, and agate, They have given out thy remnants.

¹⁷Joda sy ny tanin'ny Isiraely no mpandranto nankany aminao, ka vary tritika avy tany Minita sy zava-mamy sy tantely sy diloilo ary balsama no natakalony ny varotrao.

¹⁷Judah and the land of Israel — they [are] thy merchants, For wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, And honey, and oil, and balm, They have given out thy merchandise.

¹⁸Damaskosy no mpandranto nankany aminao noho ny habetsahan'ny taozavatrao, dia ny haben'ny harenao rehetra, ka nitondra divay avy any Helbona sy volon'ondry fotsy izy.

¹⁸Damascus [is] thy merchant, For the abundance of thy works, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For wine of Helbon, and white wool.

¹⁹Vedana koa sy Javana avy any Ozala dia nitondra vy voatefy natakalo ny entanao; Kasia sy veromanitra no natakalony ny varotrao.[Na: vy mamirapiratra][Na: Vedana sy Javana nitondra folo hatakalo ny varotrao; vy voatefy sy kasia ary veromanitra no isian'ny varotrao]

¹⁹Vedan and Javan go about with thy remnants, They have given shining iron, cassia, and cane, In thy merchandise it hath been.

²⁰Dedana no mpandranto nankany aminao, nitondra lamba fanao lamban-tsoavaly.

²⁰Dedan [is] thy merchant, For clothes of freedom for riding.

²¹Arabia sy ireo andriandahin'i Kedara rehetra no nandranto tany aminao, ka zanak'ondry sy ondrilahy ary osilahy no nentiny natao varotra tao aminao.

²¹Arabia, and all princes of Kedar, They [are] the traders of thy hand, For lambs, and rams, and he-goats, In these thy merchants.

²²Ny mpandranto avy any Sheba sy Rama no mpandranto nankany aminao, Ka zava-manitra tsara indrindra sy vato soa samy hafa karazana ary volamena no nentiny natakalo ny entanao.

²²Merchants of Sheba and Raamah — they [are] thy merchants, For the chief of all spices, And for every precious stone, and gold, They have given out thy remnants.

²³Harana sy Kane ary Edena sy mpandranto avy any Sheba sy Asyria ary Kilmada no mpandranto nankany aminao.

²³Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, merchants of Sheba, Asshur — Chilmad — [are] thy merchants,

²⁴Ireo no mpandranto nankany aminao nitondra ny fitafiana marevaka rehetra, dia kapôty manga sy samy hafa soratra ary vata sedera mifehy misy fitafiana soa no natakalony ny varotrao.[Na; vata mifehy mafy]

²⁴They [are] thy merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for thy merchandise,

²⁵Ny sambon'i Tarsisy no mpitondra ny entanao, dia feno sady be voninahitra ianao teo amin'ny ranomasina.

²⁵Ships of Tarshish [are] thy double walls of thy merchandise, And thou art filled and honoured greatly, In the heart of the seas.

²⁶Nentin'ny mpivoinao teny amin'ny rano be ianao, dia nahavaky anao tao amin'ny ranomasina ny rivotra avy any atsinanana.

²⁶Into great waters have they brought thee, Those rowing thee, The east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas.

²⁷Ny harenao sy ny vidin'entanao, ny varotrao, ny matilonao sy ny mpitondra sambonao, ny mpanentsin-tsambonao sy ny mpividy ny entanao ary ny miaramilanao rehetra izay tao aminao mbamin'ny olona betsaka tafangona tao aminao dia nilentika tao amin'ny ranomasina tamin'ny andro nandravana anao.

²⁷Thy wealth and thy remnants, Thy merchandise, thy mariners, And thy pilots, strengtheners of thy breach, And the traders of thy merchandise, And all thy men of war, who [are] in thee, And in all thine assembly that [is] in thy midst, Fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy fall,

²⁸At the voice of the cry of thy pilots shake do the suburbs.

³⁰And have sounded for thee with their voice, And cry bitterly, and cause dust to go up on their heads, In ashes they do roll themselves.

³¹And they have made for thee baldness, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for thee, In bitterness of soul — a bitter mourning.

³²Ary raha midradradradra izy, dia manao hira fahalahelovana ny aminao ka mitomany anao hoe: Iza moa no tahaka an'i Tyro, dia tahaka ilay rava ao ampovoan'ny ranomasina ?

³²And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who [is] as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea?

³³Raha nivoaka avy amin'ny ranomasina ny varotrao, dia nahatretrika firenena maro ianao; Tamin'ny haben'ny harenao sy ny varotrao dia nampanan-karena ny mpanjakan'ny tany ianao.

³³With the outgoing of thy remnants from the seas, Thou hast filled many peoples, With the abundance of thy riches, and thy merchandise, Thou hast made rich things of earth.

³⁴Tamin'ny andro nandravan'ny ranomasina anao ho any amin'ny rano lalina dia niara-nilentika taminao ny varotrao sy ny olona tafangona tao aminao.

³⁴The time of [thy] being broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, Thy merchandise and all thy assembly in thy midst have fallen.

³⁵Talanjona anao ny mponina rehetra amin'ny moron-dranomasina, ary raiki-tahotra ny mpanjakany ka dia mivalomainty.Misitrisitra anao ny mpandranto amin'ny firenena; tonga fampitahorana ianao ary tsy ho ao intsony mandrakizay

³⁵All inhabitants of the isles have been astonished at thee, And their kings have been sore afraid, They have been troubled in countenance.

³⁶Merchants among the peoples have shrieked for thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not — to the age!`
