¹And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

²Mitenena amin'ny fiangonana, dia ny Zanak'Isiraely rehetra, hoe: Aoka ho masina ianareo, satria masina Aho, Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

²`Speak unto all the company of the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Ye are holy, for holy [am] I, Jehovah, your God.

³Samia matahotra ny reninareo sy ny rainareo, ary tandremo ny Sabatako: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

³`Each his mother and his father ye do fear, and My sabbaths ye do keep; I [am] Jehovah your God.

⁴Aza mivily hanaraka ny andriamani-tsi-izy, ary aza manao andriamanitra an-idina ho anareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

⁴`Ye do not turn unto the idols, and a molten god ye do not make to yourselves; I [am] Jehovah your God.

⁵Ary raha mamono zavatra hatao fanati-pihavanana ho an'i Jehovah ianareo, dia ataovy amin'izay hankasitrahana anareo izany.

⁵`And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, at your pleasure ye do sacrifice it;

⁶Amin'izay andro amonoanareo zavatra hatao fanatitra sy amin'ny ampitson'ny no hihinananareo azy; fa raha mbola misy sisa tratry ny andro fahatelo, dia hodorana amin'ny afo izany.

⁶in the day of your sacrificing it is eaten, and on the morrow, and that which is left unto the third day with fire is burnt,

⁷Ary raha hanina amin'ny andro fahatelo izany, dia ho fahavetavetana ka tsy hankasitrahana;

⁷and if it be really eaten on the third day, it [is] an abomination, it is not pleasing,

⁸fa izay mihinana izany dia ho meloka, satria nanamavo ny zava-masin'i Jehovah izy, ka dia hofongorana tsy ho amin'ny fireneny izany olona izany.

⁸and he who is eating it his iniquity doth bear, for the holy thing of Jehovah he hath polluted, and that person hath been cut off from his people.

⁹Ary raha mijinja ny vokatry ny tanimbarinareo ianareo, dia aza jinjana avokoa ny eny an-tsisiny; ary aza tsimponina izay latsaka avy amin'ny vokatrao.

⁹`And in your reaping the harvest of your land ye do not completely reap the corner of thy field, and the gleaning of thy harvest thou dost not gather,

¹⁰Ary aza otazana avokoa ny eo amin'ny sahanao, ary aza tsimponina izay latsaka eo amin'ny sahanao; fa avelao ho an'ny malahelo sy ny vahiny izany: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

¹⁰and thy vineyard thou dost not glean, even the omitted part of thy vineyard thou dost not gather, to the poor and to the sojourner thou dost leave them; I [am] Jehovah your God.

¹¹Aza mangalatra, aza mamitaka, aza mifandainga.

¹¹`Ye do not steal, nor feign, nor lie one against his fellow.

¹²Aza mianian-tsy tò amin'ny anarako, na manamavo ny anaran'Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.

¹²`And ye do not swear by My name to falsehood, or thou hast polluted the name of thy God; I [am] Jehovah.

¹³Aza manao an-keriny amin'ny zavatry ny namanao na mampahory azy; ny karaman'izay nokaramainao aoka tsy hitoetra ao aminao miloaka alina.

¹³`Thou dost not oppress thy neighbour, nor take plunder; the wages of the hireling doth not remain with thee till morning.

¹⁴Aza miteny ratsy ny marenina na manisy zavatra mahatafintohina eo anoloan'ny jamba; fa matahora an'Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.

¹⁴`Thou dost not revile the deaf; and before the blind thou dost not put a stumbling block; and thou hast been afraid of thy God; I [am] Jehovah.

¹⁵Aza manao izay tsy marina amin'ny fitsarana; aza miandany foana amin'ny malahelo, na mena-maso ny lehibe; fahamarinana no hitsaranao ny namanao.

¹⁵`Ye do not do perversity in judgment; thou dost not lift up the face of the poor, nor honour the face of the great; in righteousness thou dost judge thy fellow.

¹⁶Aza mandehandeha manaratsy eo amin'ny firenenao; aza mitsangana handatsaka ny ran'ny namanao: Izaho no Jehovah.

¹⁶`Thou dost not go slandering among thy people; thou dost not stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I [am] Jehovah.

¹⁷Aza mankahala ny rahalahinao amin'ny fonao; mananara dia mananara ny namanao, mba tsy hahazoanao heloka noho ny aminy.

¹⁷`Thou dost not hate thy brother in thy heart; thou dost certainly reprove thy fellow, and not suffer sin on him.

¹⁸Aza mamaly ratsy na manao lolompo amin'izay iray firenena aminao: fa tiava ny namanao tahaka ny tenanao: Izaho no Jehovah.

¹⁸`Thou dost not take vengeance, nor watch the sons of thy people; and thou hast had love to thy neighbour as thyself; I [am] Jehovah.

¹⁹Tandremo ny didiko: Aza avela hilomy amin'ny hafa karazana noho izy ny biby fiompinao; aza fafazanao voan-javatra roa karazana mifangaroharo ny taninao; ary aza mitafy lamba natao amin'ny zavatra roa samy hafa karazana mifamahofaho.

¹⁹`My statutes ye do keep: thy cattle thou dost not cause to gender [with] diverse kinds; thy field thou dost not sow with diverse kinds, and a garment of diverse kinds, shaatnez, doth not go up upon thee.

²⁰Ary raha misy mandry amin'ny andevovavy izay voafofon'olona ho vadiny, ka tsy voavotra na voavotsotra ho olom-potsy ravehivavy, dia hofaizana izy roroa, fa tsy hatao maty, satria tsy olompotsy ravehivavy.

²⁰`And when a man lieth with a woman with seed of copulation, and she a maid-servant, betrothed to a man, and not really ransomed, or freedom hath not been given to her, an investigation there is; they are not put to death, for she [is] not free.

²¹Ary ho entin-dralehilahy ny fanati-panonerany ho an'i Jehovah ho eo anoloan'ny varavaran'ny trano-lay fihaonana, dia ondrilahy iray hatao fanati-panonerana;

²¹`And he hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, a ram [for] a guilt-offering,

²²ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy amin'ilay ondrilahy hatao fanati-panonerana, eo anatrehan'i Jehovah, noho ny fahotana izay nataony; dia havela izany fahotany izany.

²²and the priest hath made atonement for him with the ram of the guilt-offering before Jehovah, for his sin which he hath sinned, and it hath been forgiven him because of his sin which he hath sinned.

²³Ary raha tonga any amin'ny tany ianareo ka mamboly hazo fihinam-boa, dia hataonareo ho toy ny tsy voafora ny voany; telo taona no hataonareo ho toy ny tsy voafora izy ka tsy hohanina;

²³`And when ye come in unto the land, and have planted all [kinds] of trees [for] food, then ye have reckoned as uncircumcised its fruit, three years it is to you uncircumcised, it is not eaten,

²⁴ary amin'ny taona fahefatra dia ho masina ny voany rehetra ka hatao fanatitra hiderana an'i Jehovah;

²⁴and in the fourth year all its fruit is holy — praises for Jehovah.

²⁵fa amin'ny taona fahadimy vao hihinana ny voany ianareo, mba hitomboan'ny fahavokarany ho anareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

²⁵And in the fifth year ye do eat its fruit — to add to you its increase; I [am] Jehovah your God.

²⁶Aza homana zavatra misy rà; aza manao sikidy na manandro.

²⁶`Ye do not eat with the blood; ye do not enchant, nor observe clouds.

²⁷Aza manety ny sisim-bolon-dohanareo, ary aza manaratra ny vaokanao.

²⁷`Ye do not round the corner of your head, nor destroy the corner of thy beard.

²⁸Ary aza mitetika ny tenanareo noho ny maty, na manao tombo-kavatsa amin'ny tenanareo: Izaho no Jehovah.

²⁸`And a cutting for the soul ye do not put in your flesh; and a writing, a cross-mark, ye do not put on you; I [am] Jehovah.

²⁹Aza mampijangajanga ny zanakao-vavy hampahaloto azy, fandrao hijangajanga ny tany ka ho feno fahavetavetana.

²⁹`Thou dost not pollute thy daughter to cause her to go a-whoring, that the land go not a-whoring, and the land hath been full of wickedness.

³⁰Tandremo ny Sabatako, ary hajao ny fitoerako masina: Izaho no Jehovah.

³⁰`My sabbaths ye do keep, and My sanctuary ye do reverence; I [am] Jehovah.

³¹Aza mivily hanaraka izay manao azy ho tsindrian-javatra, na mitady saina amin'ny mpanao hatsarana, hahaloto anareo aminy: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

³¹`Ye do not turn unto those having familiar spirits; and unto wizards ye do not seek, for uncleanness by them; I [am] Jehovah your God.

³²Mitsangàna raha eo anatrehan'ny fotsy volo ianao, ka manajà ny tavan'ny anti-panahy, ary matahora an'Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.

³²`At the presence of grey hairs thou dost rise up, and thou hast honoured the presence of an old man, and hast been afraid of thy God; I [am] Jehovah.

³³Ary raha misy mivahiny aminao eo amin'ny taninareo, aza manao sarotra aminy.

³³`And when a sojourner sojourneth with thee in your land, thou dost not oppress him;

³⁴Ny vahiny eo aminareo dia hataonareo tahaka ny tompon-tany aminareo ihany ka ho tianao tahaka ny tenanano; fa efa mba vahiny tany amin'ny tany Egypta ianareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

³⁴as a native among you is the sojourner to you who is sojourning with you, and thou hast had love to him as to thyself, for sojourners ye have been in the land of Egypt; I [am] Jehovah your God.

³⁵Aza manao izay tsy marina amin'ny fitsarana, na amin'ny fandrefesana, na amin'ny fandanjana, na amin'ny famarana.

³⁵`Ye do not do perversity in judgment, in mete-yard, in weight, or in liquid measure;

³⁶Mizana marina, vato marina, efaha marina, hina marina, no hotananareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, Izay nitondra anareo nivoaka avy tany amin'ny tany Egypta.Ary tandremo ny didiko rehetra sy ny fitsipiko rehetra, ka araho izany: Izaho no Jehovah.

³⁶righteous balances, righteous weights, a righteous ephah, and a righteous hin ye have; I [am] Jehovah your God, who hath brought you out from the land of Egypt;

³⁷Ary tandremo ny didiko rehetra sy ny fitsipiko rehetra, ka araho izany: Izaho no Jehovah.

³⁷and ye have observed all my statutes, and all my judgments, and have done them; I [am] Jehovah.`
