1And the heads of the fathers of the families of the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, come near, and speak before Moses, and before the princes, heads of the fathers of the sons of Israel,
2Hianao, tompokolahy, efa nodidian'i Jehovah hizara ny tany amin'ny filokana ho an'ny Zanak'Isiraely; ary ianao, tompokolahy, efa nodidian'i Jehovah hanome ny zara-tanin'i Zelofada rahalahinay ho an'ny zananivavy.
2and say, Jehovah commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel, and my lord hath been commanded by Jehovah to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
3Koa raha manambady ny zanakalahin'ny firenena sasany amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely ireo, dia hesorina amin'ny an'ny razanay ny zara-taniny ka hanampy ny zara-tanin'ny firenena izay hatoniny, dia hesorina amin'ny zara-taninay izay azonay tamin'ny filokana izany.
3`And — they have been to one of the sons of the [other] tribes of the sons of Israel for wives, and their inheritance hath been withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers, and hath been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and from the lot of our inheritance it is withdrawn,
4Ary raha tonga ny Jobilin'ny Zanak'Isiraely, ny zara-taniny dia hanampy ny an'ny firenena izay hatoniny, ary ny azy dia hesorina amin'ny zara-tanin'ny razanay.
4and if it is the jubilee of the sons of Israel, then hath their inheritance been added to the inheritance of the tribe which is theirs, and from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers is their inheritance withdrawn.`
5Ary Mosesy nandidy ny Zanak'Isiraely araka ny tenin'i Jehovah ka nanao hoe: Marina ny tenin'ny firenena taranak'i Josefa.
5And Moses commandeth the sons of Israel, by the command of Jehovah, saying, `Rightly are the tribe of the sons of Joseph speaking;
6Izao no teny izay andidian'i Jehovah ny amin'ny zanakavavin'i Zelofada: Aoka izy hanambady izay tiany, nefa ny ao amin'ny fokon'ny firenen'ny razany ihany no hovadiny.
6this [is] the thing which Jehovah hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those good in their eyes let them be for wives; only, to a family of the tribe of their fathers let them be for wives;
7Dia tsy hifindra maso ny zara-tanin'ny firenen'ny Zanak'Isiraely; fa samy ho eo amin'ny zara-tanin'ny razany avy no hipetrahan'ny Zanak'Isiraely.
7and the inheritance of the sons of Israel doth not turn round from tribe unto tribe; for each to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers, do the sons of Israel cleave.
8Ary ny zazavavy rehetra izay mandova zara-tany eo amin'ny firenen'ny Zanak'Isiraely dia hanambady ny anankiray ao amin'ny fokon'ny firenen'ny razany ihany, mba hananan'ny Zanak'Isiraely rehetra ny zara-tanin'ny razany avy.
8`And every daughter possessing an inheritance, of the tribes of the sons of Israel, is to one of the family of the tribe of her father for a wife, so that the sons of Israel possess each the inheritance of his fathers,
9Ary aoka tsy hisy hifindra maso ny zara-tanin'ny firenena samy hafa, fa samy ho eo amin'ny azy avy no hipetrahan'ny Zanak'Isiraely.
9and the inheritance doth not turn round from [one] tribe to another tribe; for each to his inheritance do they cleave, the tribes of the sons of Israel.`
10Araka izay efa nandidian'i Jehovah an'i Mosesy no nataon'ny zanakavavin'i Zelofada,
10As Jehovah hath commanded Moses, so have the daughters of Zelophehad done,
11ka Mahala sy Tirza sy Hogla sy Milka ary Noa, zanakavavin'i Zelofada, dia samy nanambady ny zanaky ny rahalahin'ny rainy avy.
11and Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, daughters of Zelophehad, are to the sons of their fathers` brethren for wives;
12Izay avy tamin'ny fokon'ny taranak'i Manase, zanak'i Josefa, no novadin'ireo, ka dia nitoetra teo amin'ny firenen'ny mpianakavin'ny rainy ihany ny zara-taniny.Ireo no didy sy fitsipika izay nandidian'i Jehovah ka nampitondrainy an'i Mosesy ho amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely teo Arbota-moaba, teo amoron'i Jordana tandrifin'i Jeriko.
12[to men] of the families of the sons of Manasseh, son of Joseph, they have been for wives, and their inheritance is with the tribe of the family of their father.
13Ireo no didy sy fitsipika izay nandidian'i Jehovah ka nampitondrainy an'i Mosesy ho amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely teo Arbota-moaba, teo amoron'i Jordana tandrifin'i Jeriko.
13These [are] the commands and the judgments which Jehovah hath commanded, by the hand of Moses, concerning the sons of Israel, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, [near] Jericho.
