1To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, be not silent,
2Fa nisoka-bava ny ratsy fanahy sy ny mpamitaka hamely ahy; Niteny ahy tamin'ny lela mandainga izy.
2For the mouth of wickedness, and the mouth of deceit, Against me they have opened, They have spoken with me — A tongue of falsehood, and words of hatred!
3Teny fankahalana no nanodidinany ahy; Ary niady tamiko tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana izy.
3They have compassed me about, And they fight me without cause.
4Ny fitiavako dia valiany fandrafiana; Fa izaho kosa dia mivavaka.
4For my love they oppose me, and I — prayer!
5Ny soa nataoko novaliany ratsy, Ary ny fitiavako novaliany fankahalana.
5And they set against me evil for good, And hatred for my love.

6Appoint Thou over him the wicked, And an adversary standeth at his right hand.
7Raha hotsaraina izy, dia aoka ho meloka, Ary aoka ny fivavahany ho tonga fahotana.
7In his being judged, he goeth forth wicked, And his prayer is for sin.
8Aoka ho vitsy ny androny; Ary aoka ho lasan'olon-kafa ny anjara raharahany.
8His days are few, his oversight another taketh,
9Aoka ho kamboty ny zanany; Ary aoka ho mpitondratena ny vadiny
9His sons are fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10Aoka hirenireny mangataka ny zanany, Ary aoka hiremby lavitra ny tranony efa rava izy.
10And wander continually do his sons, Yea, they have begged, And have sought out of their dry places.
11Aoka ny mpampanàna vola hamandrika izay rehetra ananany; Ary aoka ny olon-kafa hifaoka ny vokatry ny asany.
11An exactor layeth a snare for all that he hath, And strangers spoil his labour.
12Aoka tsy hisy haharitra hamindra fo aminy, Na hiantra ny zanany kamboty.
12He hath none to extend kindness, Nor is there one showing favour to his orphans.
13Aoka ho fongora ny taranany; Ary aoka hovonoina amin'ny taranaka mandimby ny anarany.
13His posterity is for cutting off, In another generation is their name blotted out.
14Aoka hotsarovan'i Jehovah ny helo-drainy; Ary aoka tsy hovonoina ny helo-dreniny.
14The iniquity of his fathers Is remembered unto Jehovah, And the sin of his mother is not blotted out.
15Aoka ho eo anatrehan'i Jehovah mandrakariva izany, Ary hofoanany tsy ho eo ambonin'ny tany anie ny fahatsiarovana azy.
15They are before Jehovah continually, And He cutteth off from earth their memorial.
16Satria tsy mba nahatsiaro hamindra fo izy, Fa nanenjika ny ory sy ny malahelo Ary ny reraka am-po mba hahafaty azy;
16Because that he hath not remembered to do kindness, And pursueth the poor man and needy, And the smitten of heart — to slay,
17Tia ozona izy, ka nanody azy izany; Tsy tia indrafo izy, ka nanalavitra azy izany.
17And he loveth reviling, and it meeteth him, And he hath not delighted in blessing, And it is far from him.
18Nitafy ozona tahaka ny lambany izy, Ka niditra tao an-kibony tahaka ny rano izany, Ary tao amin'ny taolany tahaka ny diloilo;
18And he putteth on reviling as his robe, And it cometh in as water into his midst, And as oil into his bones.
19Dia aoka ho tahaka ny lamba itafiany izany, Ary ho fisikinana isikinany mandrakariva.
19It is to him as apparel — he covereth himself, And for a continual girdle he girdeth it on.
20Izany no famaliana avy amin'i Jehovah ho an'ny mpanohitra ahy, Dia izay manendrikendrika ahy.
20This [is] the wage of mine accusers from Jehovah, And of those speaking evil against my soul.
21Fa Hianao, Jehovah Tompo ô, miasà ho ahy noho ny anaranao; Vonjeo aho, fa tsara ny famindram-ponao.
21And Thou, O Jehovah Lord, Deal with me for Thy name`s sake, Because Thy kindness [is] good, deliver me.
22Fa mahantra sy malahelo aho, Ary ny foko dia voatsindrona ato anatiko.
22For I [am] poor and needy, And my heart hath been pierced in my midst.
23Lasa tahaka ny aloka mihelina aho; Roahina tahaka ny valala aho.
23As a shadow when it is stretched out I have gone, I have been driven away as a locust.
24Efa malemy ny lohaliko noho ny fifadian-kanina; Ary efa mihena ny hatavin'ny nofoko.
24My knees have been feeble from fasting, And my flesh hath failed of fatness.
25Ary izaho dia tonga fandatsan'ireny; Mijery ahy izy ka mihifikifi-doha.
25And I — I have been a reproach to them, They see me, they shake their head.
26Ampio aho Jehovah Andriamanitro ô; Vonjeo araka ny famindram-ponao aho;
26Help me, O Jehovah my God, Save me, according to Thy kindness.
27Ary aoka ho fantany fa tananao izany; Hianao, Jehovah ô, no nanao izany.
27And they know that this [is] Thy hand, Thou, O Jehovah, Thou hast done it.
28Manozona izy ireo, fa Hianao kosa mitahy; Mitsanga-menatra izy, fa mifaly kosa ny mpanomponao.
28They revile, and Thou dost bless, They have risen, and are ashamed, And Thy servant doth rejoice.
29Mitafy henatra ny fahavaloko Ka misaron-kenatra tahaka ny lamba.
29Mine accusers put on blushing, and are covered, As an upper robe [is] their shame.
30Hidera an'i Jehovah indrindra amin'ny vavako aho; Eny, eo amin'ny olona maro no hiderako Azy.Fa mitsangana eo an-kavanan'ny malahelo Izy Mba hamonjy azy amin'izay manameloka ny fanahiny.
30I thank Jehovah greatly with my mouth, And in the midst of many I praise Him,
31Fa mitsangana eo an-kavanan'ny malahelo Izy Mba hamonjy azy amin'izay manameloka ny fanahiny.
31For He standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save from those judging his soul.
