1Sing, ye righteous, in Jehovah, For upright ones praise [is] comely.
2Miderà an'i Jehovah amin'ny lokanga; mankalazà Azy amin'ny valiha tory folo.
2Give ye thanks to Jehovah with a harp, With psaltery of ten strings sing praise to Him,
3Mihirà fihiram-baovao ho Azy; mitendre tsara amin'ny feo fifaliana.
3Sing ye to Him a new song, Play skilfully with shouting.
4Fa mahitsy ny tenin'i Jehovah, ary ny asany rehetra dia mahatoky avokoa.
4For upright [is] the word of Jehovah, And all His work [is] in faithfulness.
5Tia fahamarinana sy rariny Izy; henika ny famindram-pon'i Jehovah ny tany.
5Loving righteousness and judgment, Of the kindness of Jehovah is the earth full.
6Ny tenin'i Jehovah no nanaovana ny lanitra; ary ny fofonain'ny vavany no nanaovana ny hamaroany rehetra.
6By the word of Jehovah The heavens have been made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
7Mampiavosa ny rano ao an-dranomasina ho toy ny antontan-javatra Izy; mitahiry ny rano lalina ao an-trano fitehirizana Izy.
7Gathering as a heap the waters of the sea, Putting in treasuries the depths.
8Aoka hatahotra an'i Jehovah ny tany rehetra; aoka hangovitra eo anatrehany ny mponina rehetra amin'izao tontolo izao.
8Afraid of Jehovah are all the earth, Of Him are all the inhabitants of the world afraid.
9Fa Izy no niteny dia ary izany; Izy no nandidy, dia nitoetra mafy izany.
9For He hath said, and it is, He hath commanded, and it standeth.
10Jehovah mahafoana ny fisainan'ny firenen-tsamy hafa; Mahatsinontsinona ny hevitry ny olona Izy.
10Jehovah made void the counsel of nations, He disallowed the thoughts of the peoples.
11Ny fisainan'i Jehovah maharitra mandrakizay, ny hevitry ny fony mahatratra ny taranaka fara mandimby.
11The counsel of Jehovah to the age standeth, The thoughts of His heart to all generations.
12Sambatra ny firenena izay manana an'i Jehovah ho Andriamaniny, dia ny olona nofidiny ho lovany.
12O the happiness of the nation whose God [is] Jehovah, Of the people He did choose, For an inheritance to Him.
13Eny an-danitra no itsinjovan'i Jehovah, mijery ny zanak'olombelona rehetra Izy;
13From the heavens hath Jehovah looked, He hath seen all the sons of men.
14Eo amin'ny fonenany no ijereny ny mponina rehetra ambonin'ny tany,
14From the fixed place of His dwelling, He looked unto all inhabitants of the earth;
15Dia Izy Mpamorona ny fon'izy rehetra sy Mpamantatra ny asany rehetra.
15Who is forming their hearts together, Who is attending unto all their works.
16Tsy misy mpanjaka voavonjin'ny hamaroan'ny miaramilany; ny olo-mahery tsy voavonjin'ny haben'ny heriny.
16The king is not saved by the multitude of a force. A mighty man is not delivered, By abundance of power.
17Ny soavaly tsy azo itokiana ho famonjena, ary tsy mahavonjy ny haben'ny heriny.
17A false thing [is] the horse for safety, And by the abundance of his strength He doth not deliver.
18Indro, ny mason'i Jehovah mitsinjo izay matahotra Azy, dia izay manantena ny famindram-pony,
18Lo, the eye of Jehovah [is] to those fearing Him, To those waiting for His kindness,
19mba hanafaka ny fanahiny amin'ny fahafatesana, sy hamelona azy, raha misy mosary.
19To deliver from death their soul, And to keep them alive in famine.
20Ny fanahintsika miandry an'i Jehovah; famonjena antsika sy ampingantsika Izy.
20Our soul hath waited for Jehovah, Our help and our shield [is] He,
21Fa Izy no ifalian'ny fontsika, satria ny anarany masina no itokiantsika.Jehovah ô, aoka ny famindram-ponao hitoetra aminay araka ny anantenanay Anao.
21For in Him doth our heart rejoice, For in His holy name we have trusted.
22Jehovah ô, aoka ny famindram-ponao hitoetra aminay araka ny anantenanay Anao.
22Let Thy kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, As we have waited for Thee!
