1To the Overseer. — By a servant of Jehovah, by David. The transgression of the wicked Is affirming within my heart, `Fear of God is not before his eyes,
2Fa miarahaba tena izy ny amin'ny tsy hahitana ny helony ka hankahalana azy.
2For he made [it] smooth to himself in his eyes, To find his iniquity to be hated.
3Ny tenin'ny vavany dia faharatsiana sy fitaka; efa nihadala izy ka nitsahatra tsy hanao soa.
3The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit, He ceased to act prudently — to do good.
4Faharatsiana no saintsaininy eo am-pandriany; mitsangana eo amin'ny lalana tsy mety izy; ny ratsy tsy mba laviny akory.
4Iniquity he deviseth on his bed, He stationeth himself on a way not good, Evil he doth not refuse.`
5Jehovah ô, mipaka amin'ny lanitra ny famindram-ponao; mihatra amin'ny rahona ny fahamarinanao.
5O Jehovah, in the heavens [is] Thy kindness, Thy faithfulness [is] unto the clouds.
6Ny fahamarinanao dia tahaka ny tendrombohitra avo dia avo; ny fitsaranao dia toy ny lalina indrindra; ny olona sy ny biby dia samy vonjenao, Jehovah ô,[Heb: tendrombohitr'Andriamanitra]
6Thy righteousness [is] as mountains of God, Thy judgments [are] a great deep. Man and beast Thou savest, O Jehovah.
7Endrey ny hatsaran'ny famindram-ponao, Andriamanitra ô! ka mialoka eo amin'ny aloky ny elatrao ny zanak'olombelona.
7How precious [is] Thy kindness, O God, And the sons of men In the shadow of Thy wings do trust.
8Voky ny matavy ao an-tranonao izy; ary ny ony fampifalianao no ampisotroanao azy.
8They are filled from the fatness of Thy house, And the stream of Thy delights Thou dost cause them to drink.
9Fa ao aminao no misy loharanon'aina; ny fahazavanao no hahitanay fahazavana.
9For with Thee [is] a fountain of life, In Thy light we see light.
10Ampahareto amin'izay mahalala Anao ny famindram-ponao, ary ny fahamarinanao amin'ny mahitsy fo.
10Draw out Thy kindness to those knowing Thee, And Thy righteousness to the upright of heart.
11Aoka tsy hanitsaka ahy ny tongotry ny mpiavonavona, na hampandositra ahy ny tanan'ny ratsy fanahy.Indreo! efa lavo ny mpanao ratsy; naripaka izy ka tsy maharina.
11Let not a foot of pride meet me, And a hand of the wicked let not move me.
12Indreo! efa lavo ny mpanao ratsy; naripaka izy ka tsy maharina.
12There have workers of iniquity fallen, They have been overthrown, And have not been able to arise!
