¹A Song, a Psalm, by sons of Korah. Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, In the city of our God — His holy hill.

²Avo mahafinaritra, fifalian'ny tany rehetra, ny tendrombohitra Ziona, eo amin'ny ilany avaratra, tanànan'ny Mpanjaka lehibe.

²Beautiful [for] elevation, A joy of all the land, [is] Mount Zion, The sides of the north, the city of a great king.

³Andriamanitra ao an-tranon'andriana ao dia nanao izay hahafantarana Azy ho fiarovana avo.

³God in her high places is known for a tower.

⁴Fa he! niangona ny mpanjaka maro, niara-nandroso avokoa izy.

⁴For, lo, the kings met, they passed by together,

⁵Nijery izy ka talanjona terỳ; Very hevitra izy ka nalaky nandositra;

⁵They have seen — so they have marvelled, They have been troubled, they were hastened away.

⁶Hovitra no nahazo azy teo, dia tahaka ny fanaintainan'ny vehivavy raha miteraka.

⁶Trembling hath seized them there, Pain, as of a travailing woman.

⁷Amin'ny rivotra avy any atsinanana no namakianao ny sambon'i Tarsisy.

⁷By an east wind Thou shiverest ships of Tarshish.

⁸Araka izay efa rentsika no hitantsika, tao an-tanànan'i Jehovah, Tompon'ny maro, tao an-tanànan'Andriamanitsika. Andriamanitra mampitoetra azy mandrakizay.

⁸As we have heard, so we have seen, In the city of Jehovah of hosts, In the city of our God, God doth establish her — to the age. Selah.

⁹Efa nieritreritra ny famindram-ponao izahay, Andriamanitra ô, tao anatin'ny tempolinao.

⁹We have thought, O God, of Thy kindness, In the midst of Thy temple,

¹⁰Araka ny anaranao, Andriamanitra ô, no fiderana Anao hatramin'ny faran'ny tany; feno fahamarinana ny tananao ankavanana.

¹⁰As [is] Thy name, O God, so [is] Thy praise, Over the ends of the earth, Righteousness hath filled Thy right hand.

¹¹Aoka hifaly ny tendrombohitra Ziona, aoka ho ravoravo ny zanaka-vavin'Joda, noho ny fitsaranao.

¹¹Rejoice doth Mount Zion, The daughters of Judah are joyful, For the sake of Thy judgments.

¹²Manodidina an'i Ziona ianareo, eny, mandehana manodidina azy; isao ny tilikambony,

¹²Compass Zion, and go round her, count her towers,

¹³Hevero tsara ny mandany, diniho ny tranon'andrianany, mba hambaranareo amin'ny taranaka mandimby.Fa izany no Andriamanitra, dia Andriamanitsika mandrakizay doria; Izy no hitarika antsika na dia hatramin'ny fahafatesana aza.

¹³Set your heart to her bulwark, Consider her high places, So that ye recount to a later generation,

¹⁴Fa izany no Andriamanitra, dia Andriamanitsika mandrakizay doria; Izy no hitarika antsika na dia hatramin'ny fahafatesana aza.

¹⁴That this God [is] our God — To the age and for ever, He — he doth lead us over death!
