¹A Psalm. — A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,

²To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.

³Amin'ny valiha tory folo Sy amin'ny feon-dokanga.

³On ten strings and on psaltery, On higgaion, with harp.

⁴Fa ampifalinao amin'ny nataonao aho Jehovah ô; Ny asan'ny tananao no hihobiako.

⁴For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing.

⁵Jehovah ô, akory ny halehiben'ny asanao! Lalina indrindra ny fisainanao.

⁵How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts.

⁶Ny ketrina tsy mahafantatra izany, Ary ny adala koa tsy mba mahalala.

⁶A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this; —

⁷Raha mitsiry tahaka ny ahitra ny ratsy fanahy, Ary mamony ny mpanao ratsy rehetra, Dia izany no ho fandringanana azy mandrakizay.

⁷When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity — For their being destroyed for ever and ever!

⁸Nefa Hianao, Jehovah ô, dia avo mandrakizay.

⁸And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah.

⁹Fa, indreo, ny fahavalonao, Jehovah ô, Fa, indreo, ringana ny fahavalonao; Mihahaka ny mpanao ratsy rehetra.

⁹For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity.

¹⁰Fa ny tandroko kosa asandratrao ho tahaka ny an'ny ombimanga; Mihosotra diloilo vaovao aho.

¹⁰And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil.

¹¹Ary faly ny masoko mahita ny amin'ny fahavaloko, Ary finaritra ny sofiko mandre ny amin'ny ratsy fanahy izay efa mitsangana hamely ahy.

¹¹And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear.

¹²Ny marina hamololona tahaka ny rofia; Hisandrahaka tahaka ny sedera any Libanona izy; [palma][Heb. Ho tonga lehibe]

¹²The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth.

¹³Efa nambolena tao an-tranon'i Jehovah izy Ka maniry eo an-kianjan'Andriamanitsika;

¹³Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish.

¹⁴Mbola manorobona ihany izy, na dia efa antitra aza; Dofodofotra sy maitso izy,Mba hanambara fa mahitsy Jehovah, Vatolampiko Izay tsy misy tsiny.

¹⁴Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they,

¹⁵Mba hanambara fa mahitsy Jehovah, Vatolampiko Izay tsy misy tsiny.

¹⁵To declare that upright [is] Jehovah my rock, And there is no perverseness in Him!
