1¶ Na ka turia atu e Hakopa, ka haere ki te whenua o nga tangata o te rawhiti.
1 Yna aeth Jacob ymlaen ar ei daith, a dod i wlad pobl y dwyrain.
2Na ka titiro atu ia, a ka kite i tetahi poka i te parae, na, ko etahi kahui hipi e toru e takoto ana i te taha; i whakainumia hoki e ratou nga kahui ki te wai o taua poka: he nui hoki te kohatu i te waha o te poka.
2 Wrth edrych, gwelodd bydew yn y maes, a thair diadell o ddefaid yn gorwedd wrtho, gan mai o'r pydew hwnnw y rhoid du373?r i'r diadelloedd. Yr oedd carreg fawr ar geg y pydew,
3I huihuia hoki ki reira nga kahui katoa: a whakataka atu ana e ratou te kohatu i te waha o te poka, kia whakainumia ai nga hipi, na ka whakahokia ano e ratou te kohatu ki te waha o te poka, ki tona wahi.
3 a phan fyddai'r holl ddiadelloedd wedi eu casglu yno, byddai'r bugeiliaid yn symud y garreg oddi ar geg y pydew, a rhoi du373?r i'r defaid, ac yna'n gosod y garreg yn �l yn ei lle ar geg y pydew.
4Na ka mea a Hakopa ki a ratou, E oku tuakana, no hea koutou? A ka mea ratou, No Harana matou.
4 Dywedodd Jacob wrthynt, "Frodyr, o ble'r ydych yn dod?" Atebasant, "Rhai o Haran ydym ni."
5Na ka mea ia ki a ratou, E mohio ana ianei koutou ki a Rapana, tama a Nahora? Ka mea ratou, E mohio ana ano matou.
5 Yna gofynnodd iddynt, "A ydych yn adnabod Laban fab Nachor?" Atebasant hwythau, "Ydym."
6A ka mea ia ki a ratou, E ora ana ranei ia? Ka mea ratou, E ora ana ano: ko Rahera ano tenei, ko tana tamahine te haere mai nei me nga hipi.
6 Wedyn meddai wrthynt, "A yw'n iawn?" Atebasant, "Ydyw; dacw ei ferch Rachel yn dod �'r defaid."
7Na ka mea ia, Nana, he nui ano te ra, ehara tenei i te wa hei huihuinga mai mo nga kararehe: whakainumia nga hipi, haere hoki ki te whangai.
7 "Nid yw eto ond canol dydd," meddai yntau, "nid yw'n bryd casglu'r anifeiliaid; rhowch ddu373?r i'r defaid, ac ewch i'w bugeilio."
8Na ka mea ratou, E kore e taea e matou, kia huihuia mai ra ano nga kahui katoa, kia whakataka hoki e ratou te kohatu i te waha o te poka; katahi ka whakainu matou i nga hipi.
8 Ond atebasant, "Ni allwn nes casglu'r holl ddiadelloedd, a symud y garreg oddi ar geg y pydew; yna rhown ddu373?r i'r defaid."
9¶ I a ia ano e korero ana ki a ratou, ka puta mai a Rahera me nga hipi a tona papa: ko ia hoki te kaiwhangai.
9 Tra oedd yn siarad � hwy, daeth Rachel gyda defaid ei thad; oherwydd hi oedd yn eu bugeilio.

11Na ka kihi a Hakopa i a Rahera, a nui atu tona reo ki te tangi.
11 Cusanodd Jacob Rachel ac wylodd yn uchel.
12Na ka whakaaturia e Hakopa ki a Rahera ko ia te iramutu o tona papa, he tama hoki na Ripeka: a ka rere ia ki te korero ki tona papa.
12 Yna dywedodd Jacob wrth Rachel ei fod yn nai i'w thad, ac yn fab i Rebeca; rhedodd hithau i ddweud wrth ei thad.
13Na, i te taenga atu ki a Rapana o te rongo o Hakopa, tama a tona tuahine, ka rere ia ki te whakatau i a ia, ka awhi i a ia, ka kihi hoki i a ia, a kawea ana ki tona whare. A ka korerotia e ia enei mea katoa ki a Rapana.
13 Pan glywodd Laban am Jacob, mab ei chwaer, rhedodd i'w gyfarfod, a'i gofleidio a'i gusanu, ac aeth ag ef i'w du375?. Adroddodd yntau'r cwbl wrth Laban,
14Na ka mea a Rapana ki a ia, He pono ko toku whenua, ko toku kikokiko koe. A kotahi te marama i noho ai ia ki a ia.
14 a dywedodd Laban wrtho, "Yn sicr, fy asgwrn a'm cnawd wyt ti." Ac arhosodd gydag ef am fis.
15¶ Na ka mea a Rapana ki a Hakopa, No te mea ko taku iramutu koe, me mahi noa ano koe ki ahau? korero mai ki ahau, me aha he utu mou?
15 Yna dywedodd Laban wrth Jacob, "Pam y dylit weithio imi am ddim, yn unig am dy fod yn nai imi? Dywed i mi beth fydd dy gyflog?"
16Na tokorua nga tamahine a Rapana: ko te ingoa o te tuakana ko Rea, ko te ingoa hoki o te teina ko Rahera.
16 Yr oedd gan Laban ddwy ferch; enw'r hynaf oedd Lea, ac enw'r ieuengaf Rachel.
17He papahewa nga kanohi o Rea; he mea ahuareka ia a Rahera, he ataahua hoki ki te titiro atu.
17 Yr oedd llygaid Lea yn bu373?l, ond yr oedd Rachel yn osgeiddig a phrydferth.
18Na i aroha a Hakopa ki a Rahera; a ka mea ia, Kia whitu nga tau e mahi ai ahau ki a koe mo Rahera, mo tau tamahine o muri.
18 Hoffodd Jacob Rachel, a dywedodd, "Fe weithiaf i ti am saith mlynedd am Rachel, dy ferch ieuengaf."
19Na ka mea a Rapana, Engari te hoatu e ahau ki a koe, kei hoatu ki te tangata ke: e noho ki ahau.
19 Dywedodd Laban, "Gwell gennyf ei rhoi i ti nag i neb arall; aros gyda mi."
20Na e whitu nga tau i mahi ai a Hakopa mo Rahera; a he rangi torutoru noa ake te rite o aua tau ki tona whakaaro, i tona aroha ki a ia.
20 Felly gweithiodd Jacob saith mlynedd am Rachel, ac yr oeddent fel ychydig ddyddiau yn ei olwg am ei fod yn ei charu.
21Na ka mea a Hakopa ki a Rapana, Homai taku wahine, kua rite nei hoki oku ra, kia haere ahau ki roto, ki a ia.
21 Yna dywedodd Jacob wrth Laban, "Daeth fy nhymor i ben; rho fy ngwraig imi, er mwyn imi gael cyfathrach � hi."
22Na ka huihuia mai e Rapana nga tangata katoa o taua wahi, a tukua ana e ia he hakari.
22 Casglodd Laban holl bobl y lle at ei gilydd, a gwnaeth wledd.
23A, i te ahiahi ka mau ia ki a Rea ki tana tamahine, a kawea ana ia ki a ia; a ka haere ia ki roto, ki a ia.
23 Ond gyda'r hwyr cymerodd ei ferch Lea a mynd � hi at Jacob; cafodd yntau gyfathrach � hi.
24A i hoatu e Rapana a Tiripa, tana pononga wahine, hei pononga ma Rea, ma tana tamahine.
24 Ac yr oedd Laban wedi rhoi ei forwyn Silpa i'w ferch Lea yn forwyn.
25A, i te ata, na, ko Rea ia: a ka mea ia ki a Rapana, He aha tenei mahi au ki ahau? ehara ianei a Rahera i taku i mahi ai ahau ki a koe? he aha ra koe i tinihanga ai ki ahau?
25 Pan ddaeth y bore, gwelodd Jacob mai Lea oedd gydag ef; a dywedodd wrth Laban, "Beth yw hyn yr wyt wedi ei wneud � mi? Onid am Rachel y gweithiais? Pam y twyllaist fi?"
26Na ko te meatanga a Rapana, Ehara tenei i te tikanga o to matou whenua, kia hoatu te teina ki mua o te tuakana.
26 Dywedodd Laban, "Nid yw'n arfer yn ein gwlad ni roi'r ferch ieuengaf o flaen yr hynaf.
27Whakatutukitia te wiki mo tenei, a ka hoatu ano hoki tera e matou ki a koe mo te mahi e mahi ai koe ki ahau i etahi atu tau e whitu.
27 Gorffen yr wythnos wledd gyda hon, a rhoir y llall hefyd iti am weithio imi am dymor o saith mlynedd arall."
28A pera ana a Hakopa, a whakatutukitia ana e ia te wiki mo tenei: a ka homai e ia a Rahera, tana tamahine, ki a ia hei wahine mana.
28 Gwnaeth Jacob felly, a gorffennodd y saith diwrnod. Yna rhoddodd Laban ei ferch Rachel yn wraig iddo,
29I homai ano e Rapana a Piriha, tana pononga wahine, ki a Rahera, ki tana tamahine, hei pononga mana.
29 a rhoi ei forwyn Bilha i'w ferch Rachel yn forwyn.
30Na ka haere ano hoki ia ki roto, ki a Rahera, a nui atu tona aroha ki a Rahera i tona ki a Rea; e whitu atu ano nga tau i mahi ai ia ki a ia.
30 Cafodd Jacob gyfathrach � Rachel hefyd, a hoffodd Rachel yn fwy na Lea, a gweithiodd i Laban am saith mlynedd arall.
31¶ A ka kite a Ihowa e kinongia ana a Rea, ka whakatuwheratia e ia tona kopu: he pakoko ia a Rahera.
31 Pan welodd yr ARGLWYDD fod Lea'n cael ei chas�u, agorodd ei chroth; ond yr oedd Rachel yn ddi-blant.
32Na ka hapu a Rea, a ka whanau he tama, a huaina ana e ia tona ingoa ko Reupena: i mea hoki ia, Mo Ihowa hoki i titiro mai ki toku tangihanga; ta te mea hoki akuanei taku tahu aroha ai ki ahau.
32 Beichiogodd Lea ac esgor ar fab, a galwodd ef Reuben; oherwydd dywedodd, "Y mae'r ARGLWYDD wedi gweld fy ngwaradwydd, ac yn awr bydd fy ngu373?r yn fy ngharu."
33Na ka hapu ano ia, a ka whanau he tama; a ka mea ia, I rongo hoki a Ihowa e kinongia ana ahau, koia i homai ai hoki e ia tenei ki ahau: a huaina ana e ia tona ingoa ko Himiona.
33 Beichiogodd eilwaith ac esgor ar fab, a dywedodd, "Y mae'r ARGLWYDD wedi clywed fy mod yn cael fy nghas�u, a rhoddodd hwn i mi hefyd." A galwodd ef Simeon.
34Na ka hapu ano ia, a ka whanau he tama; a ka mea ia, Katahi ano taku tahu ka piri mai ki ahau, no te mea hoki ka tokotoru a maua tama ka whanau; na reira i huaina ai e ia tona ingoa ko Riwai.
34 Beichiogodd drachefn ac esgor ar fab, a dywedodd, "Yn awr, o'r diwedd fe unir fy ngu373?r � mi, oherwydd rhoddais iddo dri mab." Am hynny galwodd ef Lefi.
35Na ka hapu ano ia, a ka whanau he tama; a ka mea ia, Katahi ahau ka whakamoemiti ki a Ihowa: koia i huaina ai e ia tona ingoa ko Hura: a ka mutu tana whanau.
35 A beichiogodd drachefn ac esgor ar fab, a dywedodd, "Y tro hwn moliannaf yr ARGLWYDD." Am hynny galwodd ef Jwda. Yna peidiodd � geni plant.
