1¶ Na ka mea te atua ki a Hakopa, Whakatika, haere ake ki Peteere, ki reira noho ai; ka hanga hoki ki reira i tetahi aata ma te Atua i puta mai nei ki a koe, i tou rerenga mai i te aroaro o Ehau, o tou tuakana.
1 Dywedodd Duw wrth Jacob, "Cod, dos i fyny i Fethel, ac aros yno; a gwna yno allor i'r Duw a ymddangosodd iti pan oeddit yn ffoi rhag dy frawd Esau."
2Katahi ka mea a Hakopa ki tona whare, ki ona tangata katoa hoki, Whakarerea atu nga atua ke i roto i a koutou, e pure i a koutou, a kakahuria etahi kakahu ke mo koutou:
2 Yna dywedodd Jacob wrth ei deulu a phawb oedd gydag ef, "Bwriwch ymaith y duwiau dieithr sydd yn eich mysg, ac ymlanhau, a newid eich dillad.
3A whakatika tatou, ka haere ake ki Peteere; a ka hanga e ahau ki reira tetahi aata ma te Atua i whakarongo mai nei ki ahau i te ra i pouri ai ahau, i tata ano hoki ki ahau i te huarahi i haere ai ahau.
3 Codwn ac awn i fyny i Fethel, er mwyn imi wneud allor yno i'r Duw a'm gwrandawodd yn nydd fy nghyfyngder, ac a fu gyda mi ar fy nhaith."
4Na ka homai e ratou ki a Hakopa nga atua ke katoa i roto i to ratou ringa, me nga whakakai i o ratou taringa; a ka huna e Hakopa ki raro i te oki i Hekeme.
4 Felly rhoesant i Jacob yr holl dduwiau dieithr oedd yn eu meddiant a'r modrwyau oedd yn eu clustiau, a chuddiodd Jacob hwy dan y dderwen ger Sichem.
5Na ka turia atu e ratou: i runga ano te wehi o te Atua i nga pa i tetahi taha i tetahi taha o ratou, a kihai ratou i whai i nga tama a Hakopa.
5 Fel yr oeddent yn teithio, daeth arswyd mawr ar y dinasoedd o amgylch, fel na fu iddynt ymlid meibion Jacob.
6¶ Heoi ka tae a Hakopa ki Rutu, ki tera hoki i te whenua o Kanaana, ara ki Peteere, a ia me tona nuinga katoa.
6 A daeth Jacob a'r holl bobl oedd gydag ef i Lus, hynny yw Bethel, yng ngwlad Canaan,
7A ka hanga e ia he aata ki reira, a huaina iho e ia taua wahi ko Erepeteere: no te mea hoki i puta mai te Atua ki a ia i reira, i tona rerenga i te aroaro o tona tuakana.
7 ac adeiladodd allor yno, ac enwi'r lle El-bethel, am mai yno yr ymddangosodd Duw iddo pan oedd yn ffoi rhag ei frawd.
8Na ka mate a Tepora kaiwhakangote o Ripeka, a ka tanumia ki raro i Peteere, ki raro i te oki; a ka huaina to reira ingoa ko Aronipakuta.
8 A bu farw Debora, mamaeth Rebeca, a chladdwyd hi dan dderwen islaw Bethel; ac enwyd honno Alon-bacuth.
9I puta mai ano te Atua ki a Hakopa i tona haerenga mai i Paranaarama, i manaaki hoki a ia.
9 Ymddangosodd Duw eto i Jacob, ar �l iddo ddod o Padan Aram, a'i fendithio.
10A ka mea te Atua ki a ia, Ko Hakopa tou ingoa: e kore tou ingoa e huaina ko Hakopa a muri ake nei, engari ko Iharaira hei ingoa mou. Na huaina ana e ia tona ingoa ko Iharaira.
10 Dywedodd Duw wrtho, "Jacob yw dy enw, ond nid Jacob y gelwir di o hyn allan; Israel fydd dy enw." Ac enwyd ef Israel.
11I mea ano te Atua ki a ia, Ko ahau te Atua Kaha Rawa: kia hua koe, kia tini; kia puta he iwi, he huinga iwi ano hoki i roto i a koe, kia puta ano hoki nga kingi i roto i tou hope;
11 A dywedodd Duw wrtho, "Myfi yw Duw Hollalluog. Bydd ffrwythlon ac amlha; daw ohonot genedl a chynulliad o genhedloedd, a daw brenhinoedd o'th lwynau.
12Ko te whenua hoki i hoatu e ahau ki a Aperahama raua ko Ihaka, ka hoatu ano e ahau ki a koe, ka hoatu ano hoki e ahau tena whenua ki ou uri i muri i a koe.
12 Rhof i ti y wlad a roddais i Abraham ac Isaac, a bydd y wlad i'th hil ar dy �l."
13Na ka mawehe atu te Atua i a ia ki runga, i te wahi i korero ai ia ki a ia.
13 Yna aeth Duw i fyny o'r man lle bu'n llefaru wrtho.
14Na ka whakaturia e Hakopa he pou ki te wahi i korero ai ia ki a ia, he pou kohatu: a ka ringihia e ia he ringihanga ki runga, a i ringihia hoki e ia he hinu ki runga.
14 A gosododd Jacob golofn, sef colofn garreg, yn y lle y llefarodd wrtho; tywalltodd arni ddiodoffrwm, ac arllwys olew arni.
15A huaina iho e Hakopa te ingoa o te wahi i korero ai te Atua ki a ia, ko Peteere.
15 Felly enwodd Jacob y lle y llefarodd Duw wrtho, Bethel.
16¶ Na ka hapainga atu e ratou i Peteere; a ka whano ka tae ratou ki Eparata: na ka whakawhanau a Rahera, ka whakauaua hoki tona whanautanga.
16 Yna aethant o Fethel. Pan oedd eto beth ffordd o Effrath, esgorodd Rachel, a bu'n galed arni wrth esgor.
17A, i te mea ka whakauaua tona whanautanga, ka mea te kaiwhakawhanau ki a ia, Kaua e wehi; ta te mea he tama ano tenei au.
17 A phan oedd yn ei gwewyr, dywedodd y fydwraig wrthi, "Paid ag ofni, oherwydd mab arall sydd gennyt."
18Na, i te mea ka haere tona wairua, i mate hoki ia, ka huaina e ia tona ingoa ko Penoni: na tona papa ia i hua ko Pineamine.
18 Ac fel yr oedd yn gwanychu wrth farw, rhoes iddo'r enw Ben-oni; ond galwodd ei dad ef Benjamin.
19Na ka mate a Rahera, ka tanumia ki te ara ki Eparata, koia nei a Peterehema.
19 Yna bu farw Rachel, a chladdwyd hi ar y ffordd i Effrath, hynny yw Bethlehem,
20A ka whakaturia e Hakopa he pou ki runga ki tona rua: ko te pou ia o te rua o Rahera a tae noa ki tenei ra.
20 a gosododd Jacob golofn ar ei bedd; hon yw colofn bedd Rachel, sydd yno hyd heddiw.
21¶ Na ka turia atu e Iharaira, a ka whakaarahia e ia tona teneti ki tua atu i te pourewa i Erara.
21 Teithiodd Israel yn ei flaen, a gosod ei babell y tu draw i Migdal-eder.
22A, i a Iharaira e noho ana i taua whenua, na ka haere a Reupena ka takoto ki a Piriha wahine iti a tona papa: a ka rongo a Iharaira. Na kotahi tekau ma rua nga tama a Hakopa:
22 Tra oedd Israel yn byw yn y wlad honno, aeth Reuben a gorwedd gyda Bilha gwraig ordderch ei dad; a chlywodd Israel am hyn. Yr oedd deuddeg o feibion gan Jacob.
23Ko nga tama a Rea; ko Reupena, ko te matamua a Hakopa, ko Himiona, ko Riwai, ko Hura, ko Ihakara, ko Hepurona:
23 Meibion Lea: Reuben cyntafanedig Jacob, Simeon, Lefi, Jwda, Issachar, a Sabulon.
24Ko nga tama a Rahera; ko Hohepa raua ko Pineamine:
24 Meibion Rachel: Joseff a Benjamin.
25Ko nga tama a Piriha, pononga wahine a Rahera; ko Rana raua ko Napatari:
25 Meibion Bilha morwyn Rachel: Dan a Nafftali.
26Ko nga tama a Tiripa, pononga wahine a Rea; ko Kara raua ko Ahera: ko nga tama enei a Hakopa i whanau nei mana ki Paranaarama.
26 Meibion Silpa morwyn Lea: Gad ac Aser. Dyma'r meibion a anwyd iddo yn Padan Aram.
27Na kua tae a Hakopa ki a Ihaka, ki tona papa, ki Mamere, ki te pa o Arapa, ara ki Heperona, ki te wahi hoki i noho ai a Aperahama raua ko Ihaka.
27 Daeth Jacob at ei dad Isaac i Mamre, neu Ciriath-arba, hynny yw Hebron, lle bu Abraham ac Isaac yn aros dros dro.
28A kotahi rau e waru tekau tau nga ra o Ihaka.
28 Cant a phedwar ugain oedd oed Isaac.
29Na ka hemo a Ihaka, ka mate, ka kohia atu ki tona iwi, he koroheke, kua maha hoki ona ra: a na ana tama, na Ehau raua ko Hakopa ia i tanu.
29 Yna anadlodd Isaac ei anadl olaf, a bu farw, a'i gasglu at ei bobl yn hen ac oedrannus. Claddwyd ef gan ei feibion Esau a Jacob.
