1യഹോവ ദാവീദിനെ സകലശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും ശൌലിന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നും വിടുവിച്ചശേഷം അവന് യഹോവേക്കു ഒരു സംഗീതംപാടി ചൊല്ലിയതെന്തെന്നാല്
1David spoke to Yahweh the words of this song in the day that Yahweh delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എന് കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും ആകുന്നു.
2and he said, “Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
3എന്റെ പാറയായ ദൈവം; അവനില് ഞാന് ആശ്രയിക്കും; എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും തന്നേ. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എന്നെ സാഹസത്തില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
3God, my rock, in him I will take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge. My savior, you save me from violence.
4സ്തുത്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാന് വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളില്നിന്നു താന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
4I will call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised: So shall I be saved from my enemies.
5മരണത്തിന്റെ തിരമാല എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; ദുഷ്ടതയുടെ പ്രവാഹങ്ങള് എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു;
5For the waves of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
6പാതാളപാശങ്ങള് എന്നെ ചുഴന്നു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികള് എന്റെമേല് വീണു.
6The cords of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. were around me. The snares of death caught me.
7എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയില് ഞാന് യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു തന്നേ നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തില്നിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; എന്റെ നിലവിളി അവന്റെ ചെവികളില് എത്തി.
7In my distress I called on Yahweh. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry came into his ears.
8ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടി വിറെച്ചു, ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് ഇളകി, അവന് കോപിക്കയാല് അവ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
8Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.
9അവന്റെ മൂക്കില്നിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി, അവന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു, തീക്കനല് അവങ്കല്നിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു.
9Smoke went up out of his nostrils. Fire out of his mouth devoured. Coals were kindled by it.
10അവന് ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുള് അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
10He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.
11അവന് കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു, കാറ്റിന് ചിറകിന്മേല് പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
11He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he was seen on the wings of the wind.
12അവന് അന്ധകാരം തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും മണ്ഡപമാക്കി; ജലാശയവും കനത്ത മേഘങ്ങളും കൂടെ.
12He made darkness pavilions around himself: gathering of waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
13അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താല് തീക്കനല് ജ്വലിച്ചു.
13At the brightness before him, coals of fire were kindled.
14യഹോവ ആകാശത്തില് ഇടിമുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതന് തന്റെ നാദം കേള്പ്പിച്ചു.
14Yahweh thundered from heaven. The Most High uttered his voice.
15അവന് അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു, മിന്നല് അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.
15He sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and confused them.
16യഹോവയുടെ ഭത്സനത്താല്, തിരുമൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാല് കടലിന്റെ ചാലുകള് കാണായ്വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.
16Then the channels of the sea appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare by the rebuke of Yahweh, At the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17അവന് ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു കൈനീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു.
17He sent from on high and he took me. He drew me out of many waters.
18ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവര് എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവര് ആയിരുന്നു.
18He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
19എന്റെ അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് അവര് എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.
19They came on me in the day of my calamity, but Yahweh was my support.
20അവന് എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, എന്നില് പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
20He also brought me out into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി, എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.
21Yahweh rewarded me according to my righteousness. He rewarded me according to the cleanness of my hands.
22ഞാന് യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.
22For I have kept the ways of Yahweh, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23അവന്റെ വിധികള് ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങള് ഞാന് വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.
23For all his ordinances were before me. As for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
24ഞാന് അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു, അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെ തന്നേ കാത്തു.
24I was also perfect toward him. I kept myself from my iniquity.
25യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയില് എന്റെ നിര്മ്മലതെക്കൊത്തവണ്ണവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.
25Therefore Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in his eyesight.
26ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലുവാകുന്നു; നിഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കന് .
26With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man you will show yourself perfect.
27നിര്മ്മലനോടു നീ നിര്മ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.
27With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
28എളിയ ജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ താഴ്ത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.
28You will save the afflicted people, But your eyes are on the haughty, that you may bring them down.
29യഹോവേ, നീ എന്റെ ദീപം ആകുന്നു; യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.
29For you are my lamp, Yahweh. Yahweh will light up my darkness.
30നിന്നാല് ഞാന് പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താല് ഞാന് മതില് ചാടിക്കടക്കും.
30For by you, I run against a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
31ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും അവന് പരിച ആകുന്നു.
31As for God, his way is perfect. The word of Yahweh is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
32യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറ ആരുള്ളു?
32For who is God, besides Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God?
33ദൈവം എന്റെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള കോട്ട, നിഷ്കളങ്കനെ അവന് വഴി നടത്തുന്നു.
33God is my strong fortress. He makes my way perfect.
34അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാന് പേടക്കാലക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി എന്റെ ഗിരികളില് എന്നെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
34He makes his feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.
35അവന് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള് താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.
35He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of brass.
36നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
36You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your gentleness has made me great.
37ഞാന് കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലത വരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികള് വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.
37You have enlarged my steps under me. My feet have not slipped.
38ഞാന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നൊടുക്കി അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാന് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.
38I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them. I didn’t turn again until they were consumed.
39അവര്ക്കും എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ തകര്ത്തൊടുക്കി; അവര് എന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴില് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
39I have consumed them, and struck them through, so that they can’t arise. Yes, they have fallen under my feet.
40യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
40For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
41എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറം കാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.
41You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
42അവര് ചുറ്റും നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിപ്പാന് ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കി, അവന് ഉത്തരം അരുളിയതുമില്ല.
42They looked, but there was none to save; even to Yahweh, but he didn’t answer them.
43ഞാന് അവരെ നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു, വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാന് അവരെ ചവിട്ടി ചിതറിച്ചു.
43Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth. I crushed them as the mire of the streets, and spread them abroad.
44എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളില്നിന്നും നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു, ജാതികള്ക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.
44You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
45അന്യജാതിക്കാര് എന്നോടു അനസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും; അവര് കേട്ട മാത്രെക്കു എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും.
45The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me.
46അന്യജാതിക്കാര് ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്ഗ്ഗങ്ങളില്നിന്നു അവര് വിറെച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു.
46The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.
47യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന് പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് . എന് രക്ഷയുടെ പാറയായ ദൈവം ഉന്നതന് തന്നേ.
47Yahweh lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
48ദൈവം എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
48even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,
49അവന് ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവര്ക്കും മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
49who brings me away from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
50അതുകൊണ്ടു, യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാന് കീര്ത്തിക്കും.
50Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. Will sing praises to your name.
51അവന് തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നലകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നെന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.
51He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his seed, forevermore.”
