1ശബ്ബത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും യാക്കോബിന്റെ അമ്മ മറിയയും ശലോമയും ചെന്നു അവനെ പൂശേണ്ടതിന്നു സുഗന്ധവര്‍ഗ്ഗം വാങ്ങി.
1When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാള്‍ അതികാലത്തു സൂര്യന്‍ ഉദിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ കല്ലറെക്കല്‍ ചെന്നു
2Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
3കല്ലറയുടെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ നിന്നു നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി ആര്‍ കല്ലു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളയും എന്നു തമ്മില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
3They were saying among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”
4അവര്‍ നോക്കിയാറെ കല്ലു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞതായി കണ്ടു; അതു ഏറ്റവും വലുതായിരുന്നു.
4for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back.
5അവര്‍ കല്ലറെക്കകത്തു കടന്നപ്പോള്‍ വെള്ളനിലയങ്കി ധരിച്ച ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരന്‍ വലത്തു ഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിച്ചു.
5Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.
6അവന്‍ അവരോടുഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ; ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ട നസറായനായ യേശുവിനെ നിങ്ങള്‍ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു; അവന്‍ ഇവിടെ ഇല്ല; അവനെ വെച്ച സ്ഥലം ഇതാ.
6He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him!
7നിങ്ങള്‍ പോയി അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടും പത്രൊസിനോടുംഅവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുമ്പെ ഗലീലെക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറവിന്‍ ; അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു പോലെ അവിടെ അവനെ കാണും എന്നു പറവിന്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
7But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.’”
8അവര്‍ക്കും വിറയലും ഭ്രമവും പിടിച്ചു അവര്‍ കല്ലറ വിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോയി; അവര്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുകയാല്‍ ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല.
8They went out, TR adds “quickly” and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.
9(അവന്‍ ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാള്‍ രാവിലെ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടു താന്‍ ഏഴു ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കിയിരുന്ന മഗദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയെക്കു ആദ്യം പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
9Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
10അവള്‍ ചെന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവരായി ദുഃഖിച്ചും കരഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടിരുന്നവരോടു അറിയിച്ചു.
10She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11അവന്‍ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവള്‍ അവനെ കണ്ടു എന്നും അവര്‍ കേട്ടാറെ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.
11When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.
12പിന്നെ അവരില്‍ രണ്ടുപേര്‍ നാട്ടിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ മറ്റൊരു രൂപത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
12After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.
13അവര്‍ പോയി ശേഷമുള്ളവരോടു അറിയിച്ചു; അവരുടെ വാക്കും അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.
13They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either.
14പിന്നത്തേതില്‍ പതിനൊരുവര്‍ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി, തന്നെ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവനായി കണ്ടവരുടെ വാക്കു വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കയാല്‍ അവരുടെ അവിശ്വാസത്തെയും ഹൃദയ കാഠിന്യത്തെയും ശാസിച്ചു.
14Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
15പിന്നെ അവന്‍ അവരോടുനിങ്ങള്‍ ഭൂലോകത്തില്‍ ഒക്കെയും പോയി സകല സൃഷ്ടിയോടും സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിപ്പിന്‍ .
15He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.
16വിശ്വസിക്കയും സ്നാനം ഏല്‍ക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവന്‍ ശിക്ഷാവിധിയില്‍ അകപ്പെടും.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
17വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരാല്‍ ഈ അടയാളങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുംഎന്റെ നാമത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കും; പുതുഭാഷകളില്‍ സംസാരിക്കും;
17 These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
18സര്‍പ്പങ്ങളെ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കും; മരണകരമായ യാതൊന്നു കുടിച്ചാലും അവര്‍ക്കും ഹാനി വരികയില്ല; രോഗികളുടെ മേല്‍ കൈ വെച്ചാല്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും സൌഖ്യം വരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19ഇങ്ങനെ കര്‍ത്താവായ യേശു അവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തശേഷം സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്കു എടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരുന്നു.
19So then the Lord NA adds “Jesus” , after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20അവര്‍ പുറപ്പെട്ടു എല്ലാടത്തും പ്രസംഗിച്ചു; കര്‍ത്താവു അവരോടുകൂടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചും അവരാല്‍ നടന്ന അടയാളങ്ങളാല്‍ വചനത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചും പോന്നു.ക്ക
20They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
