1യഹോവ സീനായി പര്വ്വതത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത കാലത്തു അഹരോന്റെയും മോശെയുടെയും വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതു
1Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Yahweh spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.
2അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകള് ഇവആദ്യജാതന് നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാര്, ഈഥാമാര്.
2These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്വാന് പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരായി അഭിഷേകം ലഭിച്ച പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകള് ഇവ തന്നേ.
3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
4എന്നാല് നാദാബും അബീഹൂവും സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അന്യാഗ്നി കത്തിച്ചപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്വെച്ചു മരിച്ചുപോയി; അവര്ക്കും മക്കള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; എലെയാസാരും ഈഥാമാരും അപ്പനായ അഹരോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ പുരോഹിത ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തുപോന്നു.
4Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh, when they offered strange fire before Yahweh, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father.
5യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു
5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
6നീ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തെ അടുക്കല് വരുത്തി പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിര്ത്തുക.
6“Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.
7അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് അവന്റെ കാര്യവും സര്വ്വസഭയുടെ കാര്യവും നോക്കി തിരുനിവാസത്തിലെ വേല ചെയ്യേണം.
7They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ കാര്യവും നോക്കി കൂടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്യേണം.
8They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9നീ ലേവ്യരെ അഹരോന്നും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില്നിന്നു അവര് അവന്നു സാക്ഷാല് ദാനമായുള്ളവര് ആകുന്നു.
9You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.
10അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും പൌരോഹിത്യം നടത്തുവാന് നിയമിച്ചാക്കേണം; അടുത്തുവരുന്ന അന്യന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.
10You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”
11യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു
11Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
12യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് പിറക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിന്നും പകരം ഞാന് ലേവ്യരെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില്നിന്നു എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ലേവ്യര് എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരിക്കേണം.
12“Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine:
13കടിഞ്ഞൂലെല്ലാം എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും കൊന്നനാളില് യിസ്രായേലില് മനുഷ്യന്റെയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയെല്ലാം എനിക്കായിട്ടു ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു; അതു എനിക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
13for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Yahweh.”
14യഹോവ പിന്നെയും സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു
14Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15ലേവ്യരെ കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും എണ്ണുക; അവരില് ഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള ആണിനെ ഒക്കെയും നീ എണ്ണേണം.
15“Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”
16തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം അവരെ എണ്ണി.
16Moses numbered them according to the word of Yahweh, as he was commanded.
17ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകള്ഗേര്ശോന് , കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി.
17These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി ഗേര്ശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകള്
18These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
19ലിബ്നി, ശിമെയി. കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാര്, ഹെബ്രോന് , ഉസ്സീയേല്.
19The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, and Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്മഹ്ളി, മൂശി. ഇവര് തന്നേ കുലംകുലമായി ലേവിയുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്.
20The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.
21ഗേര്ശോനില്നിന്നു ലിബ്നിയരുടെ കുടുംബവും ശിമ്യരുടെ കുടുംബവും ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു; ഇവ ഗേര്ശോന്യ കുടുംബങ്ങള്.
21Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
22അവരില് ഒരു മാസം മുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള ആണുങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യയില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ ആകത്തുക ഏഴായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു.
22Those who were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those who were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.
23ഗേര്ശോന്യകുടുംബങ്ങള് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ പുറകില് പടിഞ്ഞാറെ ഭാഗത്തു പാളയമിറങ്ങേണം.
23The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.
24ഗേര്ശോന്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു ലായേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീയാസാഫ് പ്രഭു ആയിരിക്കേണം.
24The prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് ഗേര്ശോന്യര് നോക്കേണ്ടതു തിരുനിവാസവും കൂടാരവും അതിന്റെ പുറമൂടിയും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീലയും
25The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, its covering, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ മറശ്ശീലയും പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീലയും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാവേലെക്കും ഉള്ള കയറുകളും ആകുന്നു.
26and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.
27കെഹാത്തില്നിന്നു അമ്രാമ്യരുടെ കുടുംബവും യിസ്ഹാര്യ്യരുടെ കുടുംബവും ഹെബ്രോന്യരുടെ കുടുംബവും ഉസ്സീയേല്യരുടെ കുടുംബവും ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു.
27Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
28ഇവ കെഹാത്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്. ഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള എല്ലാ ആണുങ്ങളുടെയും സംഖ്യയില് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കുന്നവര് എണ്ണായിരത്തറുനൂറു പേര്.
28According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.
29കെഹാത്യകുടുംബങ്ങള് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തെക്കെ ഭാഗത്തു പാളയമിറങ്ങേണം.
29The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
30കെഹാത്യ കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീസാഫാന് പ്രഭു ആയിരിക്കേണം.
30The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
31അവര് നോക്കേണ്ടതു പെട്ടകം, മേശ, നിലവിളകൂ, പീഠങ്ങള്, വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങള്, തിരശ്ശീല എന്നിവയും അവേക്കുള്ള വേല ഒക്കെയും ആകുന്നു.
31Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the screen, and all its service.
32പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മകന് എലെയാസാര് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും പ്രധാനപ്രഭുവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ കാര്യം നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ മേല്വിചാരകനും ആയിരിക്കേണം.
32Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.
33മെരാരിയില്നിന്നു മഹ്ളിയരുടെ കുടുംബവും മൂശ്യരുടെ കുടുംബവും ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു; മെരാര്യ്യകുടുംബങ്ങള് ഇവ തന്നേ.
33Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.
34അവരില് ഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള ആണുങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യയില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് ആറായിരത്തിരുനൂറു പേര്.
34Those who were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
35മെരാര്യ്യകുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു അബീഹയിലിന്റെ മകന് സൂരിയേല് പ്രഭു ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഇവര് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വടക്കെ ഭാഗത്തു പാളയമിറങ്ങേണം.
35The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.
36മെരാര്യ്യര് നോക്കുവാന് നിയമിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ പലക, അന്താഴം, തൂണ്, ചുവട്, അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും, അതു സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള എല്ലാവേലയും,
36The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
37പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള തൂണ്, അവയുടെ ചുവടു, കുറ്റി, കയറു എന്നിവ.
37the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.
38എന്നാല് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ മുന് വശത്തു കിഴക്കു, സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ മുന് വശത്തു തന്നേ, സൂര്യോദയത്തിന്നു നേരെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും പാളയമിറങ്ങുകയും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ കാര്യമായ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കുകയും വേണം; അന്യന് അടുത്തുവന്നാല് മരണ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.
38Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
39മോശെയും അഹരോനും യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി എണ്ണിയ ലേവ്യരില് ഒരു മാസംമുതല് മോലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള ആണുങ്ങള് ആകെ ഇരുപത്തീരായിരം പേര്.
39All who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of Yahweh, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
40യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുയിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് ഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള ആദ്യജാതന്മാരായ ആണുങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും എണ്ണി പേരുപേരായി അവരുടെ സംഖ്യ എടുക്കുക.
40Yahweh said to Moses, “Number all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
41യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളിലെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലുകള്ക്കും പകരം ലേവ്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും എനിക്കായിട്ടു എടുക്കേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
41You shall take the Levites for me (I am Yahweh) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”
42യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെയും എണ്ണി.
42Moses numbered, as Yahweh commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
43ഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ള ആദ്യജാതന്മാരായ എല്ലാ ആണുങ്ങളെയും പേരുപേരായി എണ്ണിയ ആകത്തുക ഇരുപത്തീരായിരത്തിരുനൂറ്റെഴുപത്തുമൂന്നു ആയിരുന്നു.
43All the firstborn males according to the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those who were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
44യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു
44Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
45യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് എല്ലാ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകള്ക്കും പകരം ലേവ്യരെയും അവരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കു പകരം ലേവ്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും എടുക്ക; ലേവ്യര് എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
45“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am Yahweh.
46യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളില് ലേവ്യരുടെ എണ്ണത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞുള്ള ഇരുനൂറ്റെഴുപത്തുമൂന്നു പേരുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്നായി തലകൂ അഞ്ചു ശേക്കെല് വീതം വാങ്ങേണം;
46For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, who exceed the number of the Levites,
47വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കപ്രകാരം ശേക്കെല് ഒന്നിന്നു ഇരുപതു ഗേരാവെച്ചു വാങ്ങേണം.
47you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; after the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs):
48അവരുടെ എണ്ണത്തെ കവിയുന്നവരുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില അഹരോന്നും അവന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കും കൊടുക്കേണം.
48and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons.”
49ലേവ്യരെക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടെടുത്തവരുടെ എണ്ണത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞുള്ളവരുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില മോശെ വാങ്ങി.
49Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;
50യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ആദ്യജാതന്മാരോടു അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കപ്രകാരം ഒരായിരത്തി മൂന്നൂറ്ററുപത്തഞ്ചു ശേക്കെല് പണം വാങ്ങി.
50from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
51യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തവരുടെ വില മോശെ അഹരോന്നും അവന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കും യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം കൊടുത്തു.
51and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
