1ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കാതെയും പാപികളുടെ വഴിയില്‍ നില്‍ക്കാതെയും പരിഹാസികളുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കാതെയും
1Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;

4ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; അവര്‍ കാറ്റു പാറ്റുന്ന പതിര്‍പോലെയത്രേ.

5ആകയാല്‍ ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലും പാപികള്‍ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ സഭയിലും നിവര്‍ന്നു നില്‍ക്കുകയില്ല.
5Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വഴി അറിയുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴിയോ നാശകരം ആകുന്നു.
6For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.
