1യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്‍വിന്‍ ; തന്‍ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിപ്പിന്‍ ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ അറിയിപ്പിന്‍ .
1Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.
2അവന്നു പാടുവിന്‍ ; അവന്നു കീര്‍ത്തനം പാടുവിന്‍ ; അവന്റെ സകലഅത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിപ്പിന്‍ .
2Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.
3അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില്‍ പ്രശംസിപ്പിന്‍ ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.
3Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
4യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ബലത്തെയും തിരവിന്‍ ; അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഇടവിടാതെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിന്‍ .
4Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
5അവന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും അവന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന്‍ മക്കളുമായുള്ളോരേ,
5Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
6അവന്‍ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വായുടെ ന്യായവിധികളും ഔര്‍ത്തുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .
6you seed of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7അവന്‍ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള്‍ സര്‍വ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഉണ്ടു.
7He is Yahweh, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
8അവന്‍ തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും താന്‍ കല്പിച്ച വചനത്തെ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളവും ഔര്‍ക്കുംന്നു.
8He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
9അവന്‍ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നേ.
9the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,
10അതിനെ അവന്‍ യാക്കോബിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടമായും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായും നിയമിച്ചു.
10and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
11നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഔഹരിയായി ഞാന്‍ നിനക്കു കനാന്‍ ദേശം തരും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
11saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance”;
12അവര്‍ അന്നു എണ്ണത്തില്‍ കുറഞ്ഞവരും ആള്‍ ചുരുങ്ങിയവരും അവിടെ പരദേശികളും ആയിരുന്നു.
12when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
13അവര്‍ ഒരു ജാതിയെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും പോകും.
13They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിപ്പാന്‍ അവന്‍ ആരെയും സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവരുടെ നിമിത്തം അവന്‍ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു
14He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
15എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുതു, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്‍ക്കും ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
15“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
16അവന്‍ ദേശത്തു ഒരു ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി. അപ്പമെന്ന കോലിനെ അശേഷം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
16He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
17അവര്‍ക്കും മുമ്പായി അവന്‍ ഒരാളെ അയച്ചു; യോസേഫിനെ അവര്‍ ദാസനായി വിറ്റുവല്ലോ.
17He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.
18യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകയും അവന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടിനാല്‍ അവന്നു ശോധന വരികയും ചെയ്യുവോളം
18They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
19അവര്‍ അവന്റെ കാലുകളെ വിലങ്ങുകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിക്കയും അവന്‍ ഇരിമ്പു ചങ്ങലയില്‍ കുടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.
19until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.
20രാജാവു ആളയച്ചു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികളുടെ അധിപതി അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.
20The king sent and freed him; even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
21അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ബന്ധിച്ചുകൊള്‍വാനും അവന്റെ മന്ത്രിമാര്‍ക്കും ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാനും
21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions;
22തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്നു അവനെ കര്‍ത്താവായും തന്റെ സര്‍വ്വസമ്പത്തിന്നും അധിപതിയായും നിയമിച്ചു.
22to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
23അപ്പോള്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍ മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; യാക്കോബ് ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു വന്നു പാര്‍ത്തു.
23Israel also came into Egypt. Jacob lived in the land of Ham.
24ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും അവരുടെ വൈരികളെക്കാള്‍ അവരെ ബലവാന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
24He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25തന്റെ ജനത്തെ പകെപ്പാനും തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോടു ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിപ്പാനും അവന്‍ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
25He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
26അവന്‍ തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയെയും താന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും അയച്ചു.
26He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27ഇവര്‍ അവരുടെ ഇടയില്‍ അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചു.
27They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28അവന്‍ ഇരുള്‍ അയച്ചു ദേശത്തെ ഇരുട്ടാക്കി; അവര്‍ അവന്റെ വചനത്തോടു മറുത്തതുമില്ല;
28He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.
29അവന്‍ അവരുടെ വെള്ളത്തെ രക്തമാക്കി, അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
29He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
30അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു തവള വ്യാപിച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയറകളില്‍പോലും നിറഞ്ഞു.
30Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
31അവന്‍ കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ നായീച്ചയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും വന്നു;
31He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.
32അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും മഴെക്കു പകരം കല്‍മഴയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തില്‍ അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അയച്ചു.
32He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
33അവന്‍ അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തി വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകര്‍ത്തു; അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
33He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.
34അവന്‍ കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും തുള്ളനും അനവധിയായി വന്നു,
34He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,
35അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ സസ്യം ഒക്കെയും അവരുടെ വയലിലെ വിളയും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
35ate up every plant in their land; and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36അവന്‍ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും അവരുടെ സര്‍വ്വവീര്യത്തിന്‍ ആദ്യഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.
36He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
37അവന്‍ അവരെ വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ഒരു ബലഹീനനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
37He brought them forth with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.
38അവര്‍ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള്‍ മിസ്രയീം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവരെയുള്ള പേടി അവരുടെമേല്‍ വീണിരുന്നു.
38Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
39അവന്‍ തണലിന്നായി ഒരു മേഘം വിരിച്ചു; രാത്രിയില്‍ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി തീ നിറുത്തി.
39He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.
40അവര്‍ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ കാടകളെ കൊടുത്തു; സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗീയഭോജനംകൊണ്ടും അവര്‍ക്കും തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി.
40They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.
41അവന്‍ പാറയെ പിളര്‍ന്നു, വെള്ളം ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അതു ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നദിയായി ഒഴുകി.
41He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.
42അവന്‍ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവചനത്തെയും തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെയും ഔര്‍ത്തു.
42For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.
43അവന്‍ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സന്തോഷത്തോടും താന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.
43He brought forth his people with joy, his chosen with singing.
44അവര്‍ തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കയും തന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണങ്ങളെ ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു
44He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
45അവന്‍ ജാതികളുടെ ദേശങ്ങളെ അവര്‍ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അവര്‍ വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന്‍ .
45that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise Yah!
